He is flailing, desperate and increasingly unhinged. Weakening the USA, alienating allies and strengthening the enemies of democracy with every step.

How can he fix this?

Do you know if it's a case of 'x' strikes and you're banned? @RedTagAlan is suspiciously absent from several threads. I miss their knowledge, humour and insight.

I have seen on other threads where a poster says that they find a post racist/offensive etc and will report it. Nothing like this took place before the posts' removals.

Ah well...

I don't know why posters get banned tbh but I wouldn't think it was for the same offence without a warning.

I'd prefer a more neutral mediator. As someone who often does mediation this would not be considered appropriate

One could hardly describe as a disinterested party, a mediator who has been funding one party in the dispute, for decades.

Thanks for that. How does one email MN? Put it on Site Stuff? But then the reporter will report it as I will have to repeat the disclaimer which I suspect was the reason for the report, iyswim.

I have heard others say before that they had asked why comments were deleted and had a reply. I've not tried it but maybe they can advise?

I recently queried why a thread was removed and got a reply saying they will look into it. Nothing changed, in spite of others asking the same question.

They are only deleted if they break talk guidelines

PP different thread years ago said three strikes and Youre out for a while. Although I’ve seen many a poster get more than that and keep on posting so it’s not clear cut.

I agree that it will be helpful to know @Boolabus but it would mean reading through the whole thread and admin would find that difficult to do.

On another thread, a particular poster admitted that they liked to have the last word. While I'm not claiming to know the poster who complained, on reading between the lines, I'm coming to the conclusion that this was a 'having the last word' act.

What I would give to be a fly on the wall. I would imagine blocking tech is a given in the negotiating room and no recordings made. Followed by the removal of translators' tongues and hands. Maybe toes too just in case... as there are people who can hold a pen and write using their toes.

Vance wasn't initially going so that explains it.

Realeasing frozen Iranian assets means that US can wriggle out of any reparation requests. Don't look here, look there!
