I understand anti semite was losing its power to silence but now Israel is calling Francesca Albanese a witch??? At a meeting of the UN?

I think if being called an anisemite has lost its power that's a poor reflection on the person who dorsn't care if they're an antisemite. I thi k you're right though. Some people seem to think its a badge of honour. They are antisemites.

i think the term anti semite has been thrown about by Israel so much and used against people who are demonstrably not antisemitic that it has lost it’s ability to shut down justified criticism

Entering your quote into Google leads to that bastion of journalism, "turkiye today", which isnt considered a reputable media outlet. You might want to be a bit more discerning in future and not be so eager to believe any old shite once its anti israel. A further Google reveals that it is actually third person who is claiming this happened and there is absolutely zero evidence that it did.

I think its misogynistic.

I saw it on social media first but I didn't doubt it was true. It's just the sort of inflammatory insult the Israeli ambassador would be expected to say.

Given the grotesque accusations, misinformation and undiplomatic language Albanese has used I won't lose sleep over it. She's made her bed, as they say.
