Writer Naoise Dolan Abducted in International Waters

KoalaKoKo · 08/10/2025 10:59

Writer, Naoise Dolan, has just been illegally abducted from international waters by the Israeli government. Prior to being kidnapped, she wrote about her journey for The Guardian, explaining why they will not get Israel to distribute aid on their behalf.

“Israel likes to ask why we don’t “just” let them distribute our supplies. Besides there being good reason to distrust that this would actually happen when Israel has been deliberately starving Palestinians for two years, doing so would tacitly concede that Israel has the right to control Palestinian waters.”

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2025/oct/08/israel-seize-ship-gaza-flotilla-prison

Israel have just abducted 145 peace activists at gunpoint from international waters, in breach of international law. This follows their abduction of 500 people last week, some of which are still in captivity and those who have been released have reported brutal treatment where they were denied access to water, medical care and legal aid.

Agree
but I disagree that the UN are biased against Israel despite the assertions of Netanyahu and what the UN critics say

Im aware of arguments for and against

Going to have to agree to disagree on that point 😀

Yes, I've followed a few if the UN's more dubious decisions but I hadn't appreciated how many members refuse to recognise Israel.

Wow there is so much nonsense in this post. You know the six year old was on the phone to emergency services as she was being murdered by the IDF. It is all recorded and proven. Just horrible comment!

What is horrible about it? That I don’t believe she was killed by the IDF?

Why is that opinion horrible? Because you want it to be true?

There are a lot of holes in this story if you dig deeper into it.

The IDF stated they didn’t give the PRCS approval to send out the ambulance to get Hind as they were not operating in the area so it was not necessary. There has been no evidence given that the IDF gave approval that night, which the PCRS must surely have, although they managed to produce the audio of the phone call with Hind.

The Forensic Architecture and Washington Post investigations said the gunfire could only have come from a mounted machine gun which must have been attached to a tank conveniently ignoring that both Hamas and the PIJ use mounted machine guns on pick up trucks. There were no bullets found which is not credible when 355 bullets have been fired into a small area like a car.

The alleged satellite evidence of IDF troops nearby stated the nearest tank was 300m away. There is no evidence any tanks moved to a position near Hind’s car or entered the area they were in. They could have gone in the opposite direction. There is no date/time stamp on the images from what I saw and it’s unclear if they were ever independently authenticated.

  1. Hind’s mother stated the uncle/aunt and kids left in the early hours (assume before 6am then) BEFORE the IDF issued evacuation orders at 9.32am.
  2. The mother also stated she witnessed shots at the car which must have been shortly after the family left if she saw it herself and she said she was walking from the house.
  3. There is no evidence in the Satellite pics the tanks went into the area that Hind was in or were in the area before 9.30am by which time the first shots at the car witnessed by Hind’s mother would have been fired. Evacuation orders are not issued by tank,
  4. Going by Hind’s mother’s testimony, the car was shot at before 9.30am (could have been before 6am) then again at 2.30pm when her cousin made the call to the PCRS, then again at around 5.30pm when Hind was killed and more shooting and bombing at 6pm when the ambulance arrived.

So according to that the IDF stayed in that area taking pot shots at a family in a car, taking their time murdering them all, using up 355 bullets (all of which magically evaporated) and then bombing an ambulance, for instance excess of 12 hours?

If you’re going to invent a scenario, at least make it credible.

Even weirder is that there was no blood stains in the car from pictures of the car. 7 people being shot to death in an average sized saloon car with 355 bullets in it and no evidence of physical injury inside? Come on.

Palestinians seem to have a penchant for overlaying gun shot sounds in their videos. Easy to do on an audio recording.

I would not be surprised if this was an extremely successful false flag propaganda op. There was no details of a funeral for Hind which given the media attention on her supposed death was unusual.

Hamas has a 1000 strong propaganda team in Gaza including videographers and PR officers led by the recently deceased Abu Obeida. Propaganda like this seems to have much reduced since his elimination.

Wow a social media account talking about Gazawood, that is amazing evidence - said no one ever.

“According to an analysis of the recording by Earshot, in the final moments that we hear Layan’s voice, a total of 64 gunshots can be heard, fired in just 6 seconds. The gun firing these shots is firing at a range of 750–900 rounds per minute. This range exceeds that of an AK-type rifle, the assault rifle most commonly attributed to Hamas. This range of rounds per minute is consistent with Israeli army-issued weaponry such as the M4 assault rifle or the FN MAG machine gun on a Merkava tank.”

On the paramedics murdered as they tried to rescue her:

”Comparing the exit hole and varying levels of destruction helps reconstruct the cone of impact from the explosion, and in turn, reveals the direction from which the ambulance was shot (Figure 13). This direction is consistent with the location of Israeli tanks visible in satellite imagery from between 29 January and 8 February.
Our assessment of the position of the tanks at the time of the attack, together with the direction of the shot, suggests that the ambulance was likely hit by ammunition from an Israeli tank.”

https://forensic-architecture.org/investigation/the-killing-of-hind-rajab

From the Jerusalem Post

“Alone in the backseat of a car outside a Gaza City gas station, the report describes her “drifting in and out of consciousness, surrounded by bodies, as she told emergency dispatchers that Israeli tanks were rumbling closer.”

“In addition, the report said that a satellite image captured by Planet Labs roughly an hour later, at 3:31 p.m., shows at least four Israeli armored vehicles around 300 meters up the road from the girls.”

Odd that investigative experts did not make themselves aware of the weapons Hamas has accumulated before making their assessments:

  • The machine guns in Hamas's possession come from multiple places. They use older models, including Soviet-origin DShK heavy machine guns and Chinese Type 80s (a version of the PKM).
  • Improvisation: Militants have been observed modifying and mounting large-caliber machine guns, like the DShK, onto pickup trucks.
  • Domestic production: Hamas also has an internal manufacturing capability for weapons. This is due in part to blockades that limit their ability to smuggle arms into Gaza, forcing them to produce their own.
  • Guerrilla tactics: Machine guns, along with other small arms like AK-47s, are used in guerrilla-style attacks and ambushes against Israeli forces. They are part of the group's asymmetrical warfare strategy against a more technologically advanced military.
  • Other weapons: While machine guns are a component of Hamas's ground arsenal, the group also possesses a wide range of other weaponry, including rockets, anti-tank missiles, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and drones.

From the satellite picture on the Forensic Architecture report, if it is genuine, the tanks weren’t 300 meters ’up the road’. There are clearly buildings blocking a direct route and the 300 meters is as the crow flies not direct. You can see the shape of the buildings under the conveniently placed yellow line marking the distance.

So if there were tanks there at 3.31pm on that day do they know how long they were there for?

So they shot at the car shortly after the family left in the early hours of the morning before 9.32am as witnessed by Hind’s mother who said the car was shot at, hung around and shot them again at around 2.30pm when Hind’s cousin called the RCPS, then leaving Hind alive and on the phone, they circled round to the location on the satellite image as stated at 3.31pm, then at least one tank circled back again at around 5.30pm to kill Hind and wait for the ambulance so they could blow it up. Seriously?

Even if the satellite image is genuine it is perfectly plausible that the tanks were at that location at 3.31pm and IDF stated they weren’t operating in the area where Hind was allegedly killed because they weren’t. They were operating up to the other side of the buildings 300m away as the crow flies. They may not have been there when the first two incidents of gunfire happened up to 2.30pm and may have left before 5.30pm when Hind was allegedly killed.

I’m not convinced.

Obviously it would convince people who want to believe a whole tank regiment of highly trained soldiers spent up to 12 hours using valuable resources and time ensuring they’d killed a little girl, after killing her family, and then the ambulance staff sent to rescue her.

Most people ‘taken at gunpoint against their will’ would have had no idea that was going to happen and would be terrified, not actively orchestrate it happening knowing full well it would.

Maybe this person should sign the deportation papers and get the hell out of Israel if she believes she is at so much risk of inhumane treatment there?

Isn’t that what some of these ‘activists’ did on the last flotilla? Refused to sign the deportation papers as they didn’t want to recognise Israel had authority in Israel so were stuck there for a bit ‘against their will’ 🤔

So doing nothing while a genocide is going on is what you think they should have done. You know Hitler was in charge of the German government and those that stood up to him were technically breaking the law but history remembers those that stood up as heroes and those that went about their lives and pretended it wasn’t happening as cowards and collaborators.

These guys are heroes and I hope they are released soon.

What a historically illiterate comparison. Those who stood up to Hitler were murdered in their millions. These people are doing their 'resistance' in the full glare of global publicity so they are safe and have admitted themselves that what they are doing is symbolic only so Israel is just going through the motions with them.

Mind-boggling. People standing up to Hitler did it in utmost secrecy, risking and often losing their lives.

These futilla clowns sailed into an active war zone, knowing theyd be rescued for their own good, on a self publicizing social media stunt that has achieved absolutely nothing apart from raising awareness about a cause literally everyone is aware of.
