Conflict in the Middle East

Gazan GHF workers left to die at hospital where Doctors Without Borders is.

As stated by GHF spokesman Chapin Fay in the below interview with Channel 4 new presenter Krishnan Guru Murthy.

At 7.30 minutes in the video, Mr Fay stated 9 local workers were murdered and the 20 injured were refused treatment at Nasser hospital, where Doctors Without Borders were, and left to die in the courtyard.

These were Palestinians!

Why was there no outcry about this? It seems that they were refused treatment because they were working for GHF. That is shocking.

It was interesting that Mr Fay said GHF is funded by the US as well as several donor countries from Europe who don’t wish to be named.

The whole interview was an absolute car crash and the presenter was totally unprofessional and disgustingly rude IMO, sitting in a comfy newsroom while firing allegations at an organisation who’s workers are at massive risk, getting death threats, and are actually being killed for trying to get free (as it should be) aid to Palestinians and from the response from a lot them at the sites, they are needed.

I think it’s pretty obvious why there has been conflict outside of the aid centres TBH.

I commend Mr Fay on his patience I have to say.

A disgusting smear attempt from Channel 4.

I wonder if Guru Murthy will take up the offer to go into Gaza himself.

All the journalists agitating about how awful it is that journalists aren't allowed into Gaza ...probably don't want to go to Gaza themselves. For very good reasons that it's an extremely dangerous place.

20 people all so injured that they all died right there in the courtyard? There wasn't a single one with a superficial wound that needed treating. Who supposedly dumped them in this courtyard? Over what period of time did this happen? Where were the GHF when this was happening to their employees? Surely they didn't just dump them all off the bus and bugger off? When it became clear that they werent being treated they were all just left there to die by their employers? So many unanswered questions a lot like the unanswered questions about their funding and employees.

I'm looking forward to the GHF presenting their evidence as requested because what the crisis management professional said in that interview about this incident left more questions than it answered.

CyberStranger · 15/08/2025 21:32

I am gobsmacked that those Palestinian aid workers were refused treatment by an international humanitarian organisation as per Mr Fay’s statement. I remember reading that 9 were killed but not that 20 survivors were left to die at a hospital after being refused treatment.

You can understand it a bit if they were threatened by Hamas while in Gaza but some of their doctors have given interviews outside of Gaza where they have not mentioned Hamas at all and only made allegations against Israel!

I doubt he’d make such a serious allegation about an international organisation quite clearly on TV without evidence now would he.

He wasn’t given a chance to say more than a sentence at a time.

Do you think he’s lying?

I'd like to understand the details of what happened, wouldn't you? It's a really serious allegation, one that doesn't appear to be reported on by anyone anywhere else. I'm sure the person who dropped them off at the hospital must have documented the whole thing, it's so incredibly shocking that 20 people, everyone of them having injuries that led to their deaths were left for what must have been hours and hours with no help from any one at all.

Why has no one been informed of this? The UN seem to have been given a completely different story? Who gave this story to them? If GHF are so desperate to work with the UN why are they withholding this information from them?

CyberStranger · 15/08/2025 22:04

Here’s an article I didn’t see in Western media

How is that the same incident only 8 people died not 29 and in this case it was Hamas who prevented them from going into the Hospital not Doctors without Borders.

Thank goodness there is video evidence it will be released soon.

CyberStranger · 15/08/2025 22:07

The Red Cross took them to the hospital.

Doesn’t sound like any information was withheld from the UN. Why would you think it was when Mr Fay clearly stated it happened and said it hadn’t been reported on.

The UN reported that 12 were killed and others injured. But like you say it was armed men in this story that prevented them from receiving medical treatment no Drs ignoring 20 seriously injured people in a courtyard of a hospital.

According to information received by the UN Human Rights office in the OPT, during the night of 11 June, a group of armed men attacked a bus carrying workers employed by a local contracting company acting on behalf of the GHF in northwestern Khan Younis. The armed men stripped and beat the workers and shot some of them. Subsequently, they held the workers in their custody in Khan Younis, and allegedly further tortured them and prevented medical treatment. In total, 12 Palestinians were reportedly killed, and others were injured. Such killings would amount to war crimes and violations of the right to life.

This place is getting more ridiculous for the deletions.

So when did this happen then? Not the 11th of June. It must have been a different incident all together. Like I said so many questions and no answers at all.

It’s obviously the same incident. Sounds like one of the injured died afterwards, making 9 deaths. 20 injured. Hopefully the others survived. He did say left for dead.

Even if Hamas threatened them at the time, why are doctors from MSF giving interviews after returning from Gaza after that time without saying anything about it?

Why has the UN not said anything about it?

Agree and the smearing of Doctors without Borders is very unfair.

He very clearly says they were dropped at a hospital where Doctors without Borders is and they were refused treatment.

This contradicts the article where is says Hamas is the reason the people did not get treatment

CyberStranger · 15/08/2025 22:13

Why do you think this isn’t the same incident?

Because none of it adds up to be quite frank. Did the terror group prevent the dead and wounded from being allowed into Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis or did the hospital workers refuse to treat them because of who they were working for?

user1471453601 · 15/08/2025 22:20

At this point in time, if I'm being asked if I believe MSF or Isreal press, I know exactly where my belief lands.

They were left to die after being refused treatment and left in a courtyard.

Isn’t that bad enough?

Palestinians refused treatment by an international humanitarian organisation at a Palestinian hospital, after being attacked on their way to work to get aid to fellow Palestinians.

Absolutely shocking.

If MSF are being threatened by Hamas why are they not alerting the UN or the IDF if Hamas is located in the hospital?

So obviously someone told them? What makes you think it wasn't MSF?

So did they die or not?
Did Doctors without Borders refuse treatment or was it Hamas?

To be honest if he his information is as poor on this as it was on the other things he talks about (no killings on the sites?) it shows how is credibility is zero.

Also why did the GHF not go to pick up their workers and bring them to an Israeli hospital?

Maybe they did when they discovered they were being refused treatment and that’s why there’s not much more information, due to location and the safety of family members still in Gaza.

The GHF statement in the Times of Israel link I attached earlier said:

We are working through many channels to transfer the injured from the hospital in Khan Younis to facilities with more robust capabilities

So it sounds like they were taken somewhere else and some more may have died from their injuries hence the UN figure of 12.

It’s all over X now. Hopefully the MSM media will pick this up (although unlikely) and Mr Fay will publish the evidence he says he has before this is buried again.

I had read some allegations about MSF before but this is shocking.

Hardly an unbiased organisation if they have left Palestinian aid workers to die after being attacked by Hamas, while also making allegations that Israel is targeting Palestinian aid workers.

Then their doctors giving interviews on Western TV making allegations that Israel is targeting civilians with absolutely no evidence.

I think Mr Fay would know better than you or I if there was killing on the aid sites.

Do you rate Hamas as more credible than him? Obviously you must do if you don’t believe him but believe Hamas reports?

On what basis though?

Because his organisation and it’s workers are toiling every day to provide the free aid to Palestinians to which they are entitled to while risking their lives and being murdered by Hamas?

Do you realise how crazy that sounds?
