Conflict in the Middle East

50 Jewish children kicked off plane, female supervisor allegedly beaten to the ground and handcuffed!

Anonimummy · 25/07/2025 20:38

Another shocking act of global antisemitism.

50 French Jewish kids aged 10-15 apparently attended a summer camp in Spain.

On the flight back to France, before takeoff while plane still on tarmac, they were accused of being rowdy and singing ‘Death to Arabs’ in Hebrew (no evidence they were saying that). Police were called, they were told to get off and their 21 year old female supervisor ended up being beaten to the ground and forcibly handcuffed.

According to witnesses on the plane, the children stopped singing when asked and were well behaved, and nothing was amiss. The crew made a tannoy announcement that there were security concerns and police entered the plane and told the kids to get off. The female supervisor was ordered to make the kids hand over their phones so footage of them being removed from the plane could be deleted and she was beaten to the ground and handcuffed when she refused. The Captain allegedly said Israel was a terrorist state.

She later had to sign an NDA to be released.

The Captain has been identified as being a flying instructor for two of the 9/11 plane hijackers.

Maybe do some reflecting on why you’re so against discussing Gaza

Maybe look up the definition of "monomanical' and see if mentioning one thing every time one opens their gob does not fit the criteria.
Much less the expectation that one should do so.
And worse, using the mentioning or not of that one thing to judge somebody's morality in a world of billions of paradigms, with billions of people, with trillions of thoughts to express.

You’re the 2nd person suggesting discussing Gaza is a mental illness.
it’s this mentality that allows what’s happening to happen. I’m certain you’ll rewrite history in the future when they ask what did you do?

my mental health is fine. Thanks. bye.

The determination to focus on whether it’s every single conversation. Use common sense. And focus on the bigger things

It’s bizarre, isn’t it?
I actually happen to know someone who mentions a particular conflict (not Gaza) in most conversations they have.
It’s tiring after a while, it (obviously!) doesn’t help the situation in said country at all and the person themselves seem deeply depressed, obsessing about the conflict and letting their own life slip by.

Again.. that is not what I said. It was stated that obviously people other than Muslims lived in Gaza. I said that it was Judenfrei, and less Christians lived there than in tel Aviv.,

Your words and meaning will be distorted on here. It’s a tactic

You do know what you wrote right? I mean, I presume you understand what you just said…?

I don’t think they do.

There are so many people who don’t seem to understand the complexities and ramifications of the situation. They opt for a binary view of the region and conflicts, viewed through a comfortable, western lens.

They see Israel as a western country (Jews are all European, right?) so demand it behaves in the same way western countries do. They happily ignore that it is culturally different to us and is surrounded by countries with a massively different culture who basically want to annihilate it. Our governments are issuing platitudes about two state solutions and restraint and ‘both sides’ while they’re over there stopping the rockets and the suicide bombers.

I think underneath all the complaints about Israel is the fact that some people just don’t think Israel should exist because Jews aren’t special and don’t need their own country because they’re not even from there. They don’t have a problem with 50 French kids being thrown off a plane because they were Jews and we all know what they’re like, right. But don’t you dare say it’s anti-Semitism because it’s not. You can’t criticise that Netanyahu or his awful government without being accused of it these days. Just typical of them. Always lying…

Let the conflation continue!

OpheliaWasntMad · 27/07/2025 09:40

Every single time there has been a thread attempting to discuss an incident of real or alleged antisemitism in Europe there have been posters who immediately appeared to suggest whatever happened is either
a) deserved (because of Gaza)
or
b) irrelevant- because we should all be talking about Gaza all the time

People don’t care that a group of 50 teenagers and minders got disembarked for being disruptive, loutish and acting dangerously with equipment.

Just like they don’t care if the loutish lad group gets disembarked either.

It’s quite something, isn’t it?

I don’t think it happens on any other board (I mean, I don’t often go on the Telly board. It might be a complete bin fire too…🤷🏻‍♀️). People cherrypick certain things and demand 100% compliance to what they think you should say and go off on one if you don’t! If you offer a link to a piece of information that illustrates your point it’s pulled apart like it’s been presented as evidence in an Old Bailey Trial. Heaven forfend you proffer an opinion without any evidence or evidence from a permitted source 😱

It’s Mumsnet. Calm down!

But this version of events is disputed.
The fact that you’ve chosen to believe it anyway doesn’t make it true.

Absolutely.

Do you think there would have been 24 pages of very heated discussion about what the lads’ government had been doing or the implications of them being from a particular religion?

I don’t.

I prefer to listen to this Palestinian than people who have no idea what they’re talking about:

Is he disgusting too?

Why has UN refused to distribute all the aid rotting in Gaza?

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mosab_Hassan_Yousef

for everyone who doesn’t know who he is. Key words are “ defected to Israel” and “Israeli spy” . That says more than enough. I think I’d rather listen to Palestinians on the ground than him.

I’m going to believe the airline and civil guard before I believe the account of mummy and daddy saying their little darling could never given they weren’t even there.

Teenagers can be little shits.

It’s highly unlikely that a few decided to disembark 50 passengers and hand them over to the police over absolutely nothing given the consequences of delays, fines and passenger disruption.

Yep,.very much agree.

There's a phrase I've seen used elsewhere "Crayoning all over the thread" and it's started to seem appropriate here...most fora with decent moderating would have taken an wrecking ball to the comments by now and we'd be left with maybe a dozen pages discussing the subject of the thread itself.

It's almost as if some posters are trying to deliberately run the thread out to 40 pages PDQ,.hence halting it, and hoping in the meantime the original incident gets ignored or forgotten..

Are you serious?! 😂

Did you read all of your Wikipedia link?

His dad was a leader of Hamas in WB. He grew up under the Hamas regime and witnessed first hand their brutality. He prevented countless suicide attacks thereby saving hundreds of lives and also exposed a number of terror cells thereby saving countless more.

He has spoken for years about the truth of what Hamas does and intends but sure, dismiss him entirely because he escaped to Israel. He has nothing relevant to say 🙄

What about the accounts of the other passengers not connected with the group? Their accounts back up what the ‘little shits’ said (nice terminology btw 👍🏻Children can never be believed…parents are always wrong when they back up their kids…bleuch).

I particularly think his description of Iran not caring what happens in this life, but the after life, explains a lot. Closed minds are only open, when it comes to displaying their moral superiority. The problem is with signalling one's virtue, one eventually runs out of steam.

I’ve never seen an actual official account of a fully named passenger. Only articles referencing Instagram comments.

Why should the parents be believed when they weren’t there?

Its incredibly unlikely a group of 50 passengers were ejected from a flight by both the airline staff and the civil guard staff for absolutely nothing other than being Jewish.

The Mossad agent theory is the one that makes me laugh. It's so much easier to believe he risked his life to do a James Bond, than to help take down a brutal terrorist regime.

Exactly.
