There is no clean water left in Gaza

There is currently no access to safe drinking water in Gaza. Families are being forced to drink contaminated water from sewage or agricultural runoff.

This is a man-made humanitarian catastrophe- not a natural disaster. This isn’t just a crisis, it’s a form of collective punishment.

Gaza faces a man-made drought as water systems collapse, UNICEF says

GENEVA (Reuters) -Gaza is facing a man-made drought as its water systems collapse, the United Nations' children agency said on Friday. "Children will begin to die of thirst ... Just 40% of drinking

Oh dear.

Oh dear. Oh dear that there are people who seem to support a terrorist government.
Why?

What about the British Jews that think your attitude towards dying children is vile? Do you stand with them?

That’s absolutely fine if they do 🤷‍♀️

The hilarity of ‘Pro Palestine’ supporters saying that they want to ‘debate’
No you don’t, you don’t want to hear anything but condemnation of Israel.
I stand with British Jews. I’m proud and very loud about it.

You might stand with British Jews but that doesn't mean all British Jews want you standing with them. Some of your views are just shameful.

And that’s entirely up to them.
They can hate me as much as they want, as can you.
You are the ones who think Hamas are not to blame. You are the ones who want Israel to suffer rather than look at Gaza’s government.

NotTerfNorCis · 24/07/2025 12:41

Watching images of starving people in Gaza on the BBC right now. Hideous. UN rep blaming Israel. This is so clearly ethnic cleansing.

Doctors without borders have put out a urgent statement that even their staff in Gaza are suffering from the lack of aid. How can doctors do their jobs properly when they are also starving.

I have read this has been the worst period since the start of the war.

Stop defending it. There's no point. Everyone can see what's going on.

UN rep just said he's been involved in helping civilians in many conflicts and this is unprecedented, the worst he's seen.

No, you only see what you want to see.
You willingly ignore Hamas. You are another one that’s part of the problem.

Have you any proof or anything? Even a few words of an argument perhaps.

I’m sure many British Jews would be absolutely against what you are saying. I don’t understand why you think that someone is pro starvation as a weapon just because they are Jewish.

Madcatdudette · 24/07/2025 12:53

@PaxAeterna
Israel want Hamas gone and all hostages returned.
Which bit of this is lost on you?
Hamas are the ones who refuse to accept the deal; just like the Arabs have always done.
I don’t understand why you think Gaza is more important than countries with a greater humanitarian need but 🤷‍♀️

Hamas are part of the situation created by Israel's actions in the first place.

Even if that wasn't the case, we're way beyond where we can blame Hamas for Israel's behaviour now.

How has Israel created Hamas’ terror attack?

Created a situation of dispossession and suffering over many decades.

I'm not justifying what Hamas did. It didn't however occur in a vacuum, for no other reason than Hamas love violence. Israel obviously considers the Palestinians as beneath them, not worthy of human respect. Their behaviour since 2023 has been entirely predictable in its cruelty.

But you are justifying it by your refusal to acknowledge that Hamas are the cause of continued suffering because they won’t agree to releasing hostages and stepping down as a government

Too right Palestinians are beneath Israelis.

There we have it, the crux of the whole problem. Israel despises the descendants of the people it evicted from their land. It has always treated them badly. As a result, monsters are spawned. Israel reacts to those monsters with even greater barbarity.

So in a conflict, it's fair for one side to insist on the total capitulation of the other, and if that doesn't happen, targeting of civilians is justified? Can you imagine applying that logic to other conflicts?

NotTerfNorCis · 24/07/2025 13:41

In reality, if Hamas did surrender and the remaining hostages were returned, Israel would probably continue to force the Palestinians out of the Gaza Strip, just as settlers are continuing to encroach on Palestinians in the West Bank. That's too clearly Israel's strategy now. They know that if Hamas goes, another group, probably with the same fighters, will replace them. Their only way out is to destroy the Palestinians, and that's what they're doing.

Nothing is fair in conflict. The point is that Hamas needs to fuck right off and release the hostages.
Hamas started this current conflict when they decided to go full terrorist on Israel

@NotTerfNorCis
To be fair you would nearly admire the poster for saying it like it is. That is the whole issue and it's not since Oct 7th. Look at how many times Palestinians have been called cockroaches and the awful cartoons of such. At least this poster is owning it rather than the usual faux concern rhetoric.

NotTerfNorCis · 24/07/2025 13:52

Nothing is fair in conflict.

That reasoning could be used to excuse October 7th.

Hamas arguably didn't start the current conflict. It has been a war of attrition for years, with the Israelis killing far more people, and causing constant misery.

BelleHathor · 24/07/2025 14:19

Exactly, it's supremacism. It's how every coloniser has justified their theft of land and resources in the past and present.

America called it manifest destiny " the divine right and duty to expand its territory from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean." and it led to the ethnic cleansing of the indigenous populations.

The British claimed they were "civilising" much of Africa and Asia.

On this thread alone, historical revisionism and Nakba denial occurred as if allowed and acceptable. That only happens where a population has been so throughly dehumanised.

Though it should be noted that those engaging in revisionism and supremacy are enabling nefarious entities to revise and deny all historical events.

You take one (deleted?) comment on MN as proof of what Israel as a whole thinks about the Palestinians?
