To continue the discussion on this new aid system which has led to countless Palestinian deaths and injuries and labelled 'inhumane' by the UK government.

@HellsBalls they are supposed to be increasing aid after discussions with the EU this week. At present it’s less than one meal a day / person. No idea re medical aid atm. No idea if and when any increases might happen. Nothing reported that I can find

There’s still aid going in via the UN and other international NGOs.

Wheres that going?

GHF never stated they’d be able to feed everyone in Gaza 3 meals a day from the start did they now?

I don’t think anyone has ever stated how many meals a day should be provided tbh. There may be a general consensus on nutritional requirements by the UN though. I don’t know what’s been agreed. Aid is still going in I believe at the original level. As I said. There’s no news on when the increase may happen. Nutritional supplements are being made available to those children in dire need due to current insufficiency.

You said in response to @HellsBalls post that the GHF is providing less than one meal a day at present. I understood that as you calculating that over the whole population of Gaza with no other aid programs being taken into account which there obviously are.

I would assume 3 meals a day would be the minimum requirement. Pretty sure Israel calculated it as over 3000 calories. There are plenty of overweight people still in Gaza so that can’t be far off.

Quite shocking that the UN refuses to engage with and work together with the GHF to get aid to civilians not Hamas isn’t it?

I wasn’t aware of the 3000 cals / person which is high. In terms of the less than one meal a day currently going in. That’s based on a population of 2.1mill and a pp statement on reported meals entering over a 40 day period by the GHF. It worked out at 0.79 ish I recall of a meal pp/ day. That’s GHF provision and does not include supplements. If you concider the history of the UN and the IG in Palestine I think you’ll find the UN, as is usual, take care of Palestinian refugees and always have and the IG don’t like that. The IG want the control and have taken that along with the backing of the US. It’s been in the news extensively over many outlets.

Yet you post X again from the GHF !! but that sly insult on the entire population of Ireland has been noted … again with the generalisations and X posting

I wouldn't worry about it.

It's a great source of information that those who rely on the Daily Mail/The Telegraph wont believe because it doesn't fit in with the "truth" on X🫣

Proud to be Irish.

Just leave them to it, they're providing cover for an entity that is engaging in some of the worst crimes against humanity. Run by an evangelical zealot Johnnie Moore whose "pro-Israel stance is rooted in a belief that God made an eternal covenant with the Jewish people and that Christians should support Israel as part of that covenant, according to some interpretations".

Another Ted Cruz so "we are commanded as Christians to support the government of Israel ".
Lovely chaps altogether.

What’s your issue with seeing what the organisation referred to in the article says about. what’s been happening?

The GHF post on X, so what? Does the X algorithm for pro-Israelis offend you?

I said nothing about the ‘entire population of Ireland’, I referred to the Irish media. I know many people in Ireland who don’t hate Israel but the Irish media slant is not surprising considering the government’s views.

Who is noting what I’m posting, you? The poster who thinks Hamas cares about Gazans?

all you’ve got is veiled insults and X posts …. and spurious comments on all Palestinians. I’m afraid all credibility has been lost. If you want the truth suggest getting off X and read unbiased news. If u can find any these days.

Exactly. Same old same old on these threads. Constantly putting down posters in some pathetic attempt to discredit. Although to be honest it’s quite funny watching it pan out.

As the Israeli scholar Ilan Pappé wryly put it, ‘Most Zionists don’t believe that God exists (4) but they do believe that he promised them Palestine.’

And "I came to the Senate committed to being the leading defender of Israel, and I'm proud to have the support of groups like AIPAC and the American-Jewish community who advocate on behalf of a close U.S.-Israel relationship. The obsession over American Jews participating in politics has to stop."

Trump is losing MAGA at an accelerated pace, the midterms in just over 12 months should be interesting. He could (wholly deservedly) end up with an impotent administration (safer for most of the world). 🤞

Didn't mention in his little speech the nearly 2million dollars in funding he received from these groups did he?
