Humans have migrated over millennia. Everyone has an ancestral homeland of some sort. As mentioned earlier mine is a small village in Russia but it's ridiculous for me as a Canadian born and raised citizen to assume I have done divine "right" to "return" there at the detriment of it's current residents.
Would modern day Romans have a claim to modern day England just because they used to have a presence there? Or the modern day Turns claiming Bosnia simply because it used to be part of the Ottoman Empire.

I don’t think your argument about pagans is the bomb drop you think it is. You’re saying people shouldn’t be turfed out their homes just because someone comes along and reclaims the land. Shouldn’t this apply to Israelis then?? Israel was created 75 years ago for very good reasons to protect the few Jewish people left in the world. @Hididi11 there are many Israelis who were born in Israel and that is the only home they know. Whilst I am strongly against the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians and the continuous land grabs that Israel carries out, I don't think this point can be overlooked.

We can argue till the cows come home on who has more right to live there but it doesn't really solve anything in my opinion. The Palestinians deserve their own state alongside Israel and until concrete steps are not taken towards that, the cycle of violence will continue.

The arrest warrants were issued for both Hamas and Israeli leaders as both have/continue to commit crimes. Your loyalty for either side should not blind you from seeing that.
