@Humdingerydoo I said that Christians and Muslims in Jerusalem must be absolutely terrified, and you said they would be as terrified as Jewish people in London are by marches for a ceasefire. I have no idea if this is true, and I suppose you are speaking of Jewish people you know and have some way to measure their fear against the non-Jewish population in Jerusalem today. And you judge it equal.
I am not a person who marches, but I'm aware that:
a)They do not carry guns
b) They are not illegally occupying the UK
c) Jewish people in the UK do not live under occupation and have the full rights of citizens. This would include not having their children removed in the dead of night. Their position in the UK is reasonably protected by civil and human rights. This is not the case for Palestinians living under occupation.
d) Jewish people are not being evicted from their homes and replaced by pro-Palestinian marchers.
I'm sure there are other differences between pro-Palestinian marchers and Israeli settlers, but there's little point continuing. It seems obvious to me that the potential threat to Palestinians in Jerusalem is much greater, but I believe you believe that Jewish people are as terrified as those in Jerusalem.. They have every right to feel that way if they do. And?
