I was very worried about the comment - imagine if I had have said - and this is how Muslims celebrated X. The poster has conflated a national day with ALL Jews. It is anti-Semitic to say this as it suggests ALL Jews and not the Israelis here.

Are you honestly comparing armed settlers to the marches in London? Way to minimise the settlers behaviour and the impact that they have had on Palestinians for decades.

Try and educate yourself on how settlers behave and how they are protected by the Israeli government before making ridiculous, minimising statements.

Yes I am comparing the two. They are a fair comparison in many, many ways.

I wasn't going to compare the two on here because I didn't want to come across as though I was trying to deflect or minimise but some of the posts on here are absolutely outrageous in their blatant hypocrisy which needs to be called out.

BELIEVE JEWS WHEN THEY SAY THEY'RE SCARED. If you can readily believe that Arabs in Jerusalem today were scared without even waiting to hear from them then believe us when we actually do speak to you as well. It's really not a big ask.

The purpose of the march isn't an anti-Palestinian one - it's to celebrate the anniversary of the day Jews finally regained access to their holiest site

The flag parade is how they celebrate. The violence isn't, that's just thugs being thugs. You conveniently skipped the bit I said about the venn diagram and the actual purpose is a celebration of finally having access to our holiest site but that a lot of the people celebrating are the Israeli equivalent of EDL so carnage occurs. Just like it frequently does on St George's Day. I thought it would be quite obvious that not all Jews or Israelis participate in the parade though 🙄

You clearly do need to educate yourself if you can compare armed people who throw Palestinians out of their homes, burn their farms to the ground, kill them, all with the protection of the IDF to marchers in London. I never said you were lying about being scared. I said you are minimising what is happening to Palestinians by making crass comparisons to marches in London.

I have never once on this board doubted that Jews are scared. My objection to your posts is pretty clear to read. You should be able to make your point without minimising the horrific, violent suffering of others.

If you don't feel that settlers are the same as London protesters then you probably shouldn't compare the two then be outraged when people take you at your word that you feel the two are the same.

You said I'm lying about my true opinions on settlers. If you're going to make an outrageous accusation then at least be brave enough to either stand by it or apologise for it, or at least retract it.

My point with regards to the marches was people should believe Jews. You have taken that to mean I secretly like the settlers. That's an incredibly messed up message to have taken from my words.

This thread isn't about the protests in the UK and how Jewish people feel scared. Of course, if that is how you feel that's your right. But there is already another thread about that where you can discuss this issue as you well know.
This one is about the settlers parade in Jerusalem and how it's affecting those (Palestinians) who live there.
