Have a look at a map pre 1948 lookatme and then you might get an idea about the ethnic cleansing . If there wasn’t a case for genocide it wouldn’t have gon to court.

Hamas have brought this to their people. Israel are ‘over-reacting’ but I think you might too if you saw your people’s babies stolen and murdered and women raped. Hamas needs to be removed before peace can be assured.

Yes Hamas should release the hostages, will Israel also release the hundreds of Palestinian (many children) ‘prisoners’ aka hostages that they have or do they not matter?

You want this war to end. The way this war ends is Hamas turning over its hostages. But they won't, and so the population of Gaza continues to suffer. Your fight is with Hamas not Israel.

They have handed over huge numbers of prisoners, many of whom are convicted murderers.

I don’t think there is such a thing as a balanced perspective out there. If you support anyone’s actions in this situation, you’re misguided.

I am surprised anyone would expect the government of Israel to behave differently over the past decades, when the government of the surrounding people were unapologetic about wanting to end Israel’s existence.

Until everyone accepts Israel is there and has a right to remain there, then Israel has no choice but to strategically disempower neighbouring hostile governments. This isn’t surprising or immoral behaviour.

I am aware of what I have written and at no point have I defended murdering children. I have, however, called for the return of children to their rightful homes. Hamas could stop this, but they won't.

Oh FFS! Regardless of who started it and who can finish it... Children are suffering! CHILDREN! And the one thing I can be 100% sure of is that the children didn't cause it.

Anyone who cannot agree that it is tragic and heartbreaking, regardless of the side they stand on, is as inhumane as the people blowing things up and/or taking hostages.
