Thought it was interesting the leader of the RSF Mohamed Dalago met with the South African president a few weeks ago. So the general who is responsible for the massacres in Sudan and Khartoum met with the country that is accusing Israel of genocide.

How..... selective.

You can continue to denigrate SA til the cows come home if it makes you feel better

But the fact remains that the ICJ didn't throw out SAs case and Israel is being obliged to answer it

So carry on shouting into the wind - it makes not one bit of difference

It doesn't matter one bit whether the case was brought by the ghost of Stalin, the court has accepted there is a case to answer, and the only question is whether Israel has or is committing genocide. The motivation of the party bringing the case is irrelevant to this.

Breaking | Hamas: "We have just submitted our response regarding the agreement to our brothers in Qatar and Egypt, following the completion of consultations within the movement's leadership and with the resistance factions. We have dealt positively with the proposal to ensure a comprehensive ceasefire, end the aggression against our people, achieve relief, shelter, reconstruction, lift the blockade on the Gaza Strip, and accomplish a prisoner exchange deal."

This deal has been rejected by Netanyahu and there'll be no end until victory is achieved.

It's crazy that this has gone on so long and the IDF aren't moving them along. They know they have a responsibility to make sure aid reaches Gaza.

Livinginanotherworld · 07/02/2024 23:52

The IDF could disperse these people in minutes if they wanted to, or if the government told them to do so.

The world and the ICJ are watching and recording this. What game are they playing with The Hague ? They are defiantly carrying out war crimes in real time, almost putting on a show. A lot of their main influencers are posting blatant evidence of war crimes too. They are all being tagged as ICJBreach by many people. Do they know something we don’t ? They don’t seem bothered at the serious charges they are facing.

They've never faced a single consequence for anything and until now international law hasn't applied to them. They've had the US defending them all this time. It's bonkers and the US are much to blame as Israel.

Also, the IDF was stopping aid reaching Gaza for the last 4 months so they're probably happy enough that these cretins have taken over the job for them. They probably called them in to do it so that they have plausible deniability.

There has been many gruesome and dehumanising videos that IDF soldiers have recorded and posted but this one where the soldier advertises a barbers shop with dead Palestinians in the background whilst playing a song about Amaleks has to be from one of the worst. Is this all being recorded for the ICJ? And will it be too late for any action to be taken by the time it is acknowledged

Edited to add a trigger warning for the link

Parkingt111 · 08/02/2024 12:28

Whats even more shocking is this barbers shop in Israel actually have this video that they have posted on their Instagram story which is still up right now
I belive it is advertising 20% off for soldiers

Parkingt111 · 08/02/2024 12:31

I'm not sure if any action will be taken by the authorities to condemn this behaviour and at the minimum have the soldier removed from his post.
If i see anything will post

SummerFeverVenice · 08/02/2024 12:40

@Parkingt111
Really grim and cracked that soldier has done a barber shop ad next to dead unarmed bodies. It’s almost an insane action. Perhaps he is trying to get pulled from his post?

Parkingt111 · 08/02/2024 12:48

@SummerFeverVenice I really don't know. Sometimes if there is alot of public outrage then action is taken against the offending soldier. I sincerely hope that this is one of those times and he isn't left to continue fighting in Gaza.
In the original video which isn't blurred it looks like one of the dead Palestinians is a woman in jilbab, whose jilbab has been torn or pulled up from the bottom exposing her lower half

That's horrifying. What kind of society must you live in where that seems like an acceptable thing to do?

Parkingt111 · 08/02/2024 13:03

@inkworks273
I don't think the soldiers actions would be a fair or accurate representation of society as a whole and I hope that there is enough outrage for something to be done.
But it is concerning that they felt emboldened enough to post it on their Instagram page whilst advertising their services

Maybe you're right. I'd like to think no one would step foot in his barber shop after this...

SummerFeverVenice · 08/02/2024 13:19

It is horrific and I agree part of the cause is the genocidal and dehumanising rhetoric that has been and is being used by Israeli leadership. It isn’t a coincidence he chose to play the amalek song with his post.

The ICJ should take note of these war crimes and consider all the context.

More evidence of the IDF raping women too.

Is that the photo of the naked Palestinian tied to a chair and then shot in the thigh by the soldier standing over him? Yes, that was appalling. I am happy to hear the Palestinian, Hamza, survived.

The same one. I knew they were going to say the man belong to hamas. Glad to see they were once again wrong. Not so glad to see how they treat humans. But hopefully icj and SA keep taking notes of what has happened the last few weeks

EasterIssland · 08/02/2024 19:17

Nicaragua has requested permission to intervene in the ICJ case against Israel regarding genocide in Gaza.

I saw this on X and tagged it as ICJ_Breach as did many others, hopefully it will have been recorded.

I don't know if any of you have seen Bidens recent comments where he calls Israel's war in Gaza as 'over the top'
You could say that is a understatement at the least or a strange way to describe war crimes. What's causing this change in narrative? Kirby also said that the US wouldn't support a ground invasion of Rafah without proper arrangements made for the displaced civilians sheltering there.
Part of me feels that this is all coming to a head now for Biden as elections loom closer.
There were unconfirmed reports that he called Netanyahu 'a really bad man' another understatement if true.

From sky:
"I'm of the view, as you know, that the conduct of the response in the Gaza Strip has been over the top," the US president said.
"There are a lot of innocent people who are starving, a lot of innocent people who are in trouble and dying, and it's gotta stop."

Isn't he the one starving innocent people by defunding UNRWA based on zero evidence? He's acting like he doesn't have the power to stop this at any time.
