I'm not on Twitter but I hope it's removed soon. I know some people who are on Twitter so I'll ask them to report it too.

I've seen some extremely anti-Semitic, pro-Hamas and even pro-Nazi posts on xitter, including on accounts posted on this board. I wouldn't hold out too much hope of it getting removed.

I reported some amazingly blatant antisemitism in the past, particularly one far right white supremacist account that was literally talking about organising against the Jews (full on incitement to violence) and twitter sent me back a pathetic email saying they they had reviewed it and it hadn’t broken any safety policies. I was gobsmacked, it literally couldn’t have been more open. Anyway I’ve checked and the account has since been suspended, but it was a pathetic response at the time. I wouldn’t hold out any hope.

It generally takes mass reporting to get almost anything removed. I think because it has to go through algorithms first and they have no nuance at all.

I guess. But how it could get past even algorithms was beyond me. It could not have been clearer incitement. Anyway the account is gone now, but it certainly did not give me much faith in x’s moderation

This news of the rescued hostages was reported by Israeli newspaper Haaretz.
Some is very sad.

• Almog's father, Yossi Jan, passed away hours before his son was rescued. Almog's aunt, Dina Jan, told Kan Bet public radio: "My brother died of grief, and he didn't get to see Almog's return. He couldn't bear it – every deal that was derailed broke his heart."

• Another rescued hostage, Noa Argamani, was reunited with her terminally ill mother at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv. Noa's father Yaakov said that "Unfortunately, her mother is in a very severe condition," and she "just couldn't express her emotions and say what she was planning to say to her when they finally met."

• The parents of Russian-Israeli rescued hostage Andrey Kozlov arrived in Israel and reunited with their son. Relatives said Andrey "is in relatively good condition" and is sharing details of his experience with them.

This is Haaretz (Israeli newspaper) reporting on Netanyahu’s poor attitude to hostages when he can’t use good news about them for his own publicity and gain.

• The parents of Hanan Yablonka, who was murdered on Oct 7 and whose body was recovered from Gaza last month, said Netanyahu has still not called them since they learned of their son's death.

"When Israeli forces daringly rescue hostages, Netanyahu shows up in every picture and makes speeches... But as the father of a dead hostage eloquently and tragically put it, 'When the ending is bad, the primeminister doesn’t show up.'" - Yossi Verter

The story of Yossi Jan is just heart breaking isn't it. If only he'd known.

Yossi Jan shows us all the terrible toll this is for hostages families. I often break down watching Rachel, Hersch's mum. Her poise and bravery is something to behold.
