This is wonderful news, and that they have been reported as being in a good medical condition too. Well done to their rescuers.

The fact that Noa's terminallyl ill mum will see her daughter again and know that she is safe is incredible.

It's just such amazing news for all concerned. Fingers crossed this is the start of things to come...

I have thought about Noa in particular so often since the 7th October.
She could have been my DD or a friend of my DS.
All those beautiful, young people at Nova…
I can’t quite believe she’s been freed.
Such wonderful news for her and her family.
I hope she will be given privacy and time with her mother and loved ones.
Continued prayers and thoughts for all the other hostages and their families.

Officer in Counter-Terrorism Unit killed in Saturday's hostage rescue mission

The police announced the death of Chief Inspector Arnon Zmora, 36-years-old from Sde David, an officer in the National Counter-Terrorism Unit, who participated in the operation that saw the rescue of four hostages from Gaza on Saturday.

Zmora was critically wounded during the operation and was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He leaves behind his wife and two children.

😔He gave his life to save theirs. Brave man.

His poor family.

It's very sad that the other thread specifically talking about the hostage rescue has been pulled due to whataboutery, horrid comments, derailing etc. I don't post much anymore due to the same posters jumping over everything that is not anti Israel. 😢 cannot even feel pleased to see the rescue of innocent people.

Couldn't even celebrate the return of those innocent Israelis on a thread specifically titled fir them.
