I hope they come home soon and there's no need for a part 4.

That's heartbreaking. Ramping up the psychological torture.

We expect nothing better.

No news on the young women still being held😔

Noa, Naama, Liri, Karina, Daniella....the Bibas family...so many more, so many days.

I haven’t clicked on the link. Is there any news on her Mum? They should return Noa right now, what kind of person leaves a potentially dying mother wondering about her daughter like this.

EllaDisenchanted · 31/05/2024 09:41

This is Noa’s hostage page on instagram (and Avinatan, her boyfriend). Liora appears in a post on May 21st

Hamas published a video featuring what is believed to be the voice of Gaza hostage Noa Argamani in captivity, Israeli media reported on Fr. iday.
The Hostages & Missing Families Forum provided the following statement shortly afterwards:

"Recently, Hamas released a video with the voice of Noa Argamani, whose been in Hamas captivity for 238 days. The Argamani Family has requested not to broadcast the video."
The forum statement continued, saying, "125 hostages have been in Hamas captivity for 238 days. There is no need for a propaganda video from Hamas to echo our call to the Israeli government: You must quickly reach a deal that will return them all home."

I have read some of the theories behind Noa not being shown in full and I pray they aren't true.
I hope she is returned home soon.

So much hate in their hearts, must be eating them from the inside out. Why would you give your children that burden?

Take care @EllaDisenchanted

@EllaDisenchanted let us hope that the hostages will get home now with this latest proposal from Biden.

Reading through reports of the Israel Day Parade in New York, though even one placard that despicable is one too many, thankfully it seems there was just one saying, ‘Kill the Hostages’, and one with the telephone screen saying ‘They’re not coming home’.

It is difficult to believe anyone could stand there in is this parade and wish ill on the hostages, whatever else they think. They must be deranged.
The parade seemed to go ahead in the spirit intended otherwise though.

Text below reprinted from Times of Israel today:

"Dolev Yehud, 35, initially thought to have been taken hostage to the Gaza Strip by Hamas terrorists on October 7, has been declared dead after his body was identified in Israel, the military says.

Yehud, from Kibbutz Nir Oz on the Gaza border, was a volunteer medic with Magen David Adom and United Hatzala. On the morning of October 7 he left his house to aid others amid the Hamas onslaught, before being killed.
Initially, Yehud was believed by the IDF to have been abducted. Although amid the war there were no indications from Gaza of him being there, unlike other hostages, leading authorities to reevaluate unidentified remains found in the kibbutz from the onslaught.

Dolev Yehud, 35, initially thought to have been taken hostage to the Gaza Strip by Hamas terrorists on October 7, has been declared dead after his body was identified in Israel, the military says.

Initially, Yehud was believed by the IDF to have been abducted. Although amid the war there were no indications from Gaza of him being there, unlike other hostages, leading authorities to reevaluate unidentified remains found in the kibbutz from the onslaught.

Some victims of the Hamas massacres had their bodies burned or otherwise mutilated beyond recognition, making identification difficult.
New scientific identification tests, paired with information on where the remains were found, confirmed that a previously unidentified body belonged to Yehud.

The IDF says that Dolev’s family was notified after the body was identified.
Dolev was married with four children; his wife, Sigal, gave birth to their fourth child while he was thought to have been held captive. His sister, Arbel Yehud, 28, is still being held by the terror group in Gaza.

Arbel was taken hostage with her boyfriend, Ariel Cunio, from their Kibbutz Nir Oz home.

The latest development lowers the number of hostages taken on October 7 from the previous figure of 252 to 251."

How unbearable for his family who would have been hoping he was alive, and perhaps hoping to see him soon under the new deal proposed if it goes ahead. What a brave man he was going in to the terror to aid others. Pray that his sister, Arbel, will be released soon.

stomachamelon · 03/06/2024 17:41

@EllaDisenchanted those signs and the animals that are holding them are unbearable to see. Why would you do that? I hope they are found and prosecuted.

israelilefty · 03/06/2024 20:14

This evening it was announced that according to intelligence information it has been established that four hostages, Hayim Peri, Amiram Cooper, Yoram Metzger, and Nadav Popplewell, who were documented alive in Hamas propaganda videos, were all killed in captivity in Khan Younis. Their death may have resulted from IDF activity in the area. The three older men (Peri, Cooper and Metzger) were from kibbutz Nir Oz and Popplewell was from kibbutz Nirim. There are no words for the cruelty of terrorists who abducted and held old people, or for the layers of tragedy, in which they were doubly abandoned in their old age, first on a kibbutz which waited a full day for a single soldier to arrive, and second by a government who preferred to continue the war rather than make a deal to free them.

Bring them home. Now.

anotherlevel · 03/06/2024 20:26

So Qatar is the power behind the deal, they shelter Hamas leaders and fund Hamas in Gaza, the ball is in their court.

@israelilefty my heart goes out to the families whose hope has been so cruelly taken away, I pray for their strength to carry on.

I've just read, and I so hope it is true, that the IDF have rescued four hostages including Noa Argamani.

Just been sent this from a friend in Israel. Thank god.

Joint IDF, ISA and Israel Police Statement:

This morning (Saturday), in a joint IDF, ISA and Israel Police (Yamam) complex special daytime operation in Nuseirat, four Israeli hostages were rescued. Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir Jan (21), Andrey Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (40), were kidnapped by the Hamas terrorist organization from the 'Nova' music festival on October 7th.
The hostages were rescued by the IDF, ISA and 'Yamam' forces from two separate locations in the heart of Nuseirat.

They are in good medical condition and have been transferred to the 'Sheba' Tel-HaShomer Medical Center for further medical examinations.

The security forces will continue to make every effort to bring the hostages home.
