Did he look like a Hamas terrorist? No
Did he display threatening behaviour? No
Was he carrying a weapon? No
Did he start a fight? Again No!
Did the IDF confirm with their superiors if this civilian was a farther and should be taken down? No
Did they know who he was? No
Was he minding his own business? Yes
Was he a civilian? Yes
Was he innocent? Yes

Sounds very reasonable to kill a man in cold blood who was helping another civilian out.

sorry I haven’t been around for a few days. Had to have a small medical procedure and decided to take a MN break. I wish another of these threads wasn’t necessary but as long as these crimes keep happening it’s important to raise awareness.

the indoctrination is real and goes a long way in explaining the actions of the Israeli army. The army reservists are a mirror on Israeli society because they are drawn from all walks of life. The fact that the abuses committed are so wide spread goes to show there is a deeper societal issue in term of hatred and fear taught at a young age and Israelis viewing Palestinians as ‘lesser than’. There’s a recent film called “Israelism” which I think I posted about upthread which deals with similar issues.

also interesting to watch some of the interviews done by this guy. He’s apparently well known on TikTok (although I don’t have TikTok so know him from Instagram) and he speaks directly with Israeli youngsters. Some of discussions are sad and human but some are truly shocking.
