So far IDF estimates they've killed between 1000-2000 Hamas fighters out of a total of about 30,000. They have killed a minimum of 6000 children. So, on a rough estimate based on an average of 1500 Hamas fighters killed, the ratio is 4 children for every Hamas fighter. Would you really accept this ratio is "doing everything to avoid civilian deaths?" To kill all 30000 Hamas you would end up with a "collateral damage" of 120,000 children- not to mention women and non-combatant men.

not sure people understand that this thread is for the atrocities that idf have done. If you’re happy for the name of idf being corrupted because some members use rape and torture against civilians that’s fine. Seems like you only care about the atrocities that Hamas does. . Just say it. But don’t use the whataboutery of what other groups are doing.

I understand I’ve been there but honestly dealing with people of this mentality on other threads I’ve realized there’s no point arguing as they are not prepared to listen to reasoning. Israel can do no wrong in their eyes. Everything is the fault of others.

Israel will not kill any non combatant intentionally

Where have you been for the last 75 years? Israel has and continues to kills non combatants, both in private and the public arena, and legitimizes settlers killing non combatants. You appear to have a clarity of intention that the government don't share.

Report on sexual torture of Palestinian men by Israeli authorities

In the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, arrests and imprisonment of Palestinian men in their early adulthood are common practice. The Public Committee Against Torture in Israel (PCATI) collected thousands of testimonies of Palestinian men allegedly tortured or ill-treated by Israeli authorities. There are many types of torture, sexual torture being one of them. This study is based on the PCATI database during 2005-2012, which contains 60 cases – 4% of all files in this period – with testimonies of alleged sexual torture or ill-treatment. It is a first in the investigation of torture and ill-treatment of a sexual nature, allegedly carried out by Israeli security authorities on Palestinian men. Findings show that sexual ill-treatment is systemic, with 36 reports of verbal sexual harassment, either directed toward Palestinian men and boys or toward family members, and 35 reports of forced nudity. Moreover, there are six testimonies of Israeli officials involved in physical sexual assault of arrested or imprisoned Palestinian men. Physical assault in most cases concerned pressing and/or kicking the genitals, while one testimony pertained to simulated rape, and another described an actual rape by means of a blunt object. The article provides illustrations of the various types of sexual torture and ill-treatment of boys and men in the light of existing literature, and recommendations.

I think anyone with an ounce of heart knows that the killing of children in Gaza is heartbreaking. But anyone with an ounce of common sense knows that Hamas must be obliterated.
Of course we are sad for Gaza.

Bu also anyone who has a brain knows they will never eliminate Hamas through this strategy ( as discussed by many leading military strategists). After two month approximately 3-5 % of Hamas fighters killed and the main leaders still all cosy in another country. Gaza’s infrastructure and civilians decimated.

Why do people not realise Israel are breeding more terrorists right now than they are killing? No Palestinian will ever forgive Israel and the rest of the world will struggle with forgiveness too.

It's literally only a few posters on here who are still saying this is about eliminating Hamas. One eye, half a brain and a TV is enough to tell you otherwise. It's an attempt of ethnically cleansing Palestinians out of Occupied Palestinian Territory so that Israel can take more land under the guise of "security".

A Palestinian child labeled as a "prisoner" was sexually assaulted in an Israeli prison. The Apartheid regime responded by closing the agency that brought it to light and suppressing evidence vigorously. Josh Paul resigned from the US State Department during this administration, citing moral inconsistencies. Numerous individuals within the system share a sense of disillusionment. Shouldn't Palestinian child prisoners also be recognized as human beings worth advocating for?
