First kill. Then ask. It feels this people were first arrested and then killed. If they thought they were terrorists they should bring them to court rather than kill them. But I guess every human is a terrorist for them. Even kids.

This makes me so angry, such lack of respect for human life. Stick a label on someone, regardless of whether or not it’s the truth, and use that as an excuse to do what you want.

No wonder some people are so petrified. They think there are terrorists everywhere!

I’m reading comments that organs might have been stolen from those buried near the hospital

There have been allegations of organ harvesting without consent made for decades. There was an interview around 2000 of an Israeli doctor who reported organs and tissues had been removed from dead Israelis and Palestinians without consent, although officials stated the practice had been discontinued by that time. I think it's a particularly sensitive concern given the importance of burying the whole person in both Judaism and Islam, the importance of consent for organ donation, and how close these allegations might be seen to blood libel accusations. Hopefully investigations can shed some light on what's happened.

I heard the sad news today that one of Gaza's most prominent doctors has died whilst being held for the last four months in an Israeli prison.

The Palestinian Prisoners Association has called his death an assassination

The Palestinian health ministry said in a statement that Bursh’s death raised to 496 the number of medical sector workers who had been killed by Israel since Oct 7. It added that 1,500 others had been wounded while 309 had been arrested.

I was wondering if when the Israeli authorities say hospitals were targeted by them because they were used by Hamas, do they really mean wounded Hamas fighters being treated in hospital beds? If so, wouldn’t that be no more than expected?

I am so sad to hear of this. All deaths are a tragedy - especially children and those trying to help others like doctors or aid workers. Very very concerning to hear he died in custody. I hope his family receive truth and justice .

@Limesodaagain thank you, I hope so too. Many Palestinians who were detained during the war and have since been released, have shared very similar testimonies of torture and abuse, and have been returned back with signs of it on their bodies too, even minors and women.
