@hamstersarse can you explain why it's ok for many many posters to talk about Israel telling palestinians to move or suggest on so many posts that they move again and again. Even out of hospitals & also to suggest moving to Egypt & other Arab countries (as I have seen suggested on here many times) but is not islamophobia to suggest that.

No one has suggested Israel doesn't have a right to exist. I and others have said that IF Israeli people are so scared of Hamas that they are able to justify cutting of oxygen from premature babies, why don't they go to safety elsewhere?

What I see is that many people supporting Palestine are absolutely unable to admit that fundamentally their belief is that Israel should not exist, as per the post I quoted.

If you can’t even acknowledge this, or even that that is what Hamas / Iran (who finds them) want, the whole conversation about Israel’s actions is pointless

It's bizarre that calling for freedom, that calling for a right to exist, for a freedom to live in your own homes and your ancestral land, or using a word genocide is deemed illegal, but doing an actual genocide, killing 5000 babies and children and burning down buildings, hospitals, churches, mosques, schools is not.

The fact is that Israel was at late stage negotiation with Saudi Arabia right before the 7th October attacks. This deal included concessions for Palestinians.

I get from this that Israel want peace in the region.

Florida is not an empty land. Florida belongs to the Seminole and Miccosukee who never surrendered to the Spanish or the American invaders. Despite this, colonisers have pushed these First Nation peoples into the most rural, remote fringes and Florida is a nominally US State after the USA took it from the Spanish. Florida is not even the USA’s to give.

Israel was not at war with Saudi Arabia, so it wasn’t a peace deal. It was an economic partnership deal. I see no link between Hamas attack and Israel’s talks with Saudi Arabia about cross-border sharing and pricing of electricity and water. It’s more logical to think Hamas attacked to take hostages to negotiate a deal with Israel regarding the Israel blockade of Gaza, the Israel illegal acquisition of Palestinian Territories, and the Israel erosion of the civil rights of Palestinians. I really don’t think Hamas would have staged their biggest attack EVER against Israel to protest Israel and Saudi Arabia shaking hands on cheap electricity deals.

That's my point. Palestine was an inhabited land, not for the British to simply pick up and give like a piece of candy at Halloween

The actions of Hamas shouldn't affect the Palestinian public. Many Israeli politicians have alluded to, or outright said, they want to see the land occupied by Israelis.

Agree. As for peace negotiations alluded to above -
2023 was a very violent year for Palestinians, with Jenin and many other West bank villages attacked and Palestinians killed by settlers as well as attacks by Israeli army and police.
