Takethat I know what you mean about 'loving' DH being in the wrong. I am nearly always at the cause of our arguements therefore I absolutely revel in being in the right - how bad is that ;o)

Brassica the only danger with me is TMI rather than TLI (little!) after these things I am going by myself. It's at 4:30 so I can go straight home afterwards. In my mind it really shouldn't be too bad. Just like a dildocam. I have been told to take a couple of painkillers about 30mins before and that there may be discomfort (period pain like) afterwards. TMI but I think the discomfort is because they have to 'force' a cathater through a closed cervix. I think this is also the reason they give you antibiotics. One hint I read on another site is to take a sanitary towel with you as some of the dye will leak out on the way home. Full report on Thursday evening - maybe I can try painting with my chuff? Like a potato print....not that my bits resemble a potato...not unless it's a weirdy organic one (potato not fanjo...)

Milano I tried to woo DH into JSing last night and he said something about me not being fertile! Hello!? I reminded him that sex is for fun too and he agreed. Still had to do with out though . Shall have to get me short skirt out tonight.

AF due on Friday. Am soooo pleased that the week is nearly over. Am feeling like I did last cycle pre AF due day, minus the crappy virus, so looking forward to a succesful POAS and no losing it (esp as I forgot to get my reverse psycology tampons in the shop today). Here's to setting myself up for a fall!

NoMore I like the reverse psychology tampons idea. I bought tampons and pg tests at the same time in Asda. Not anywhere near time to poas yet and I know having the things in the house will make it harder to resist. In middle of 2ww at the moment. But have tampons so like the idea that bfp more likely now :)

Kat I stole the idea from another viriod, but it was weeks ago so can't give credit where credit is due.

I think I did that subconciously last week as I bought more folic acid, tampons and a test as my AF is due on Monday so anything could happen!

I think this has been one of the longest months in ages so I just want to get on with September for either a BFP or not so I can get on with JSing at the right time all the time

Milano ? I think I?m truly sticking to the thread ethos so far. I have not bought, never mind used, any PG tests, OPKs or anything. We have sex all through the month (well except for a few days ) and I never hardly ever google random fertility related items. I do know where I am in my cycle, but that?s allowed! However, before you all throw heavy objects at me, it?s my first month of TTC JS so there is time yet for me to break the rules.

I too bought reverse psychology lillets the other day. At the same time as 3 packs of Mum To Be vitamins. Bless the woman on the till, she was a little confused .

You lot on the 2ww seem remarkably sane so far.

CD 20 here. Poking boobs like mad. Thought they felt a bit tender earlier but then realised I had been poking them, hard, for about two days. Otherwise nothing to speak of. Don't "feel" like I could be pregnant, just don't see it happening this month. I have three tests hanging around in the bathroom and knowing me there is no way I will be able to put it off past CD28, despite the fact my last cycle was 37 days long!

Told DH I was feeling sick this morning and as he walked out the door he told me no peeing on sticks! It's to early to POAS anyway and besides, if this keeps up, the POAS will only be a formality.

Hello Shaggers! Well CD9 over on this side of the world, where I swear on our first day of spring all the jasmine blossomed! I was very excited, though I think that might also be some residual excitement that DP and I are actually, truly, and enthusiastically ttc. Although, since there's no sign of pant snot (repeat after me, I will not poas to see if ov, I will not poas to see if ov) I suppose we are JSing. It's been fun though! On a brief hiatus now, as DP has flown to Adelaide for three days to sign papers on some land he's bought with his parents. I wish I could have gone, but have a workshop this weekend. However, if my body is perfectly normal, he should be back for a week of ovulation shagging. Then again, my body hasn't done what it should since DS was born almost 4 years ago. Grrr.

Nelly I'll join you polishing my halo, but I think my obsession with reading this forum already shows that I probably won't have much discipline when the 2ww finally comes. I'm already impatient for the 2ww :)

Good luck POAS nomore. If I remember rightly you had (unsticky) luck last month, like me, so if you feel the same that sounds hopeful!

Reading through the recent posts I have realised that I have smugly felt I do live up to the ethos of the thread simply because I don't use OPKs. But I do pee on an average of about 25 sticks a month, I'm pretty sure I could take the crown for the most ridiculous google searches ever, and I'm SO with kidnap. I might even have to get me a sparkly boob poker to go with my shag cape. At least it might disguise all the poke-age as fun.

at poke-age. DH is so apologetic and he gave me a bit of pokery himself last night. Now that's got to qualify me for the thread...

Shag cape had to have a break last night as I didn?t get in the house until about 10.30pm and I was knackered after going to a showjumping competition (had to ride there for an hour, then back in the dark!) so that?s 3 of the best 5 days I?ve missed so far so not much chance of a BFP this time round.

:) at you all trying to justify the madness! I think we've got a pretty good ethos going for people who would otherwise seem a bit mad are ttc-ing. I think we keep each other from teetering over the edge (or at least we teeter together with a glass of wine).
