I should be down about this given I spent a lot of last week fully believing I was pregnant, but I am actually chuffed to bits because it means 1. I was spot on about the pant snot - 14 days ago exactly, and I wasn't charting or even looking for it. And 2. The gallons of booze I swigged on Saturday are 100% guilt free.

I am also chuffed because all that booze cheered me up anyway

vallinna GOOOOOOD LUCK for tomorrow If it helps, I was talking to my SIL on Saturday about my stupid situation and she said she came off the pill a while ago and didn't have a period for four months (not to ttc) - and then she went back on it. All her doctor would say was that this was normal. WHY don't they tell you this when you're on the pill! Grrr for sexist withholding of information ...

Now have to confirm to everyone I told I was pregnant that I am in fact an idiot, and clearly ttc is beyond the powers of my tiny little brain. But the super-shag-powers are coming straight back out of the closet!

I have decided to ignore pant snot, sounds a bit too close to charting to me. Besides, my periods go between setting a clock by them then not having one for a month or two. Am just too lazy to even think about temperatures and ovulation....god and don't get me started on the whole when to try for a girl and when to try for a boy thing in terms of when you ovulate....I just want to have sex when I want!

Speaking of which I think it's all bullshit anyway because if you go from my due date for DS apparently I conceived him 5 days after coming off the pill.

in other news - we finally bought a bed this weekend and christened it last night! Spent the last 4 months on a borrowed futon mattress on the floor, glad to say the bed is sturdy

My thermometer came today . On the positive side, I had an argument with the ebay seller about it (it didn't arrive, I had my own shit for brains and couldn't see how to contact the seller so I just left negative feedback, then I worked it out, contacted the seller and said I would remove the feedback once I got the thermometer, and she was very . Then I changed the feedback to neutral, because she'd been a bit arsey, and then she was even more ) So although I have a thermometer it is angry and hormonal and will be used for shag-tastic purposes and not boring or obsessive ones (I promise!)

For a start you can do armpit, mouth, vaginal or rectal temps! Gross. Feel a bit sad for the other orifices - what's wrong with belly buttons and nostrils?! Going to start thinking of other places I can stick it (as long as I can sterilise it after...)

Apart from that, nothing to report. Have period pains which feel like someone is scraping out my uterus with a spoon ... can't wait for it to end so I can start throwing some shag-shapes!

JKS I know what you mean about the waiting...there's a lot of waiting with ttc, isn't there? At least once you're pregnant the bump grows and so on, so that's something to keep you amused.

I'm fairly sure I must be past ovulation now and have slight cramps but think it's just wind. Don't think I got pregnant this month. No point in testing for a good 10 ten days anyway and I'm going to try not to test til AF is late. (may well cave before that).

I'm on AF gormers so no JSing for me at the moment You could try a quickie before work in the morning?! That way you get your cocoa tonight too! (that, or build the cocoa into the shag ).
