We're getting serious this time BESHies. Welcome to the Palace, where the emphasis is on sophistication. Cast your eyes over the plush carpet, admire the oh-so-carefully worn leather armchairs with sidetables and little green lamps. We have the Bonds of the ages as barstaff, waiting to serve martinis and the finest champagne.

To your left you'll see the Pit, which hopefully we won't be needing much. To your right the Cave of Gloom, and straight ahead we have our special space for the 2WOOFL. You'll find beanbags and gym balls there, the walls have been specially painted to allow you to write your symptoms up and wipe them off if they disappear. It's all the rage for Blue Sky thinking these days. And there are donuts and coffee to keep you going as you try to shift that paradigm.

I started vaguely wondering about a week ago - had a tiny bleed which would usually mean spotting ahoy and then nada. But I stuck my head firmly into the sand. I have been MENKUL for the last couple of days waiting for my period to start and my body to cackle at me shouting, fooled ya.

I feel a bit sicky and a bit crampy and a bit unreal. Terrified that things might not work out. So all normal there.

TNB was his usual self - reticent - but I think he's thrilled. In fairness, I did wake him up at 4.30 am to tell him...

Muser · 23/06/2010 08:56

All the best people test at 4.30am. I am still beyond thrilled. Bloody fantastic. It's so wonderful having such a joyful fred.

Oh my bloody life, CAM that is the best fucking news! What a week! I am (again) weeping with joy. OMG OMG OMG I can't believe it.

WWWOOOOOOOOOPPPPP WWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPPPP!!!!!

PollyPoo · 23/06/2010 09:14

Gin what kind of pains were you getting? Have they stopped now? I had quite crampy feelings around the time my period was due - think the shrimp was just burrowing a bit deeper.

I am soooo over-excited with all this good news. grin] And looks like the CurlyOne has lost her plug this morning so there may be a RL actual BESH baybee born very soon! Huzzah!

SomethingSuitablyWitty · 23/06/2010 09:14

Amazing, fabulous new drom! Congratulations! It's wonderful!!! Crampy feelings are normal for sure and continue for a while...

Another win and space enough on this thread for many many more!

laurielou · 23/06/2010 09:29

AND CUNTY - MUCHOS EXCITEMENT!

Surely this calls for champagne all round

ChoChoSan · 23/06/2010 09:30

OhMyFuckingGod FieldMarshalDrommel, I don't believe it!!! Congratulations HUNZZZLOLZZ, I am running out of new superlatives to describe excitement at this unending supply of differs...we will have to close the palace down soon at this rate.

Can I point out that 75% of BESHes attending May's London beshtival are now diffed...make of that what you will!

PerfectDromedary · 23/06/2010 09:32

I think it means that headbanger is magic, given that my updiffment has come after a Friday night of boozes with her. I may start hiring her out as a fertility goddess.

ChoChoSan · 23/06/2010 09:37

Good Luck to CurlyWurly too...this is truly the dawning of the age of the BESH, and now the fertility vibes of the recently diffed can be focussed on yet to be diffed BESHes.

laurielou · 23/06/2010 09:43

Ooooops in my excitement I got over excited for Cunty. Obv am excited for her, but meant to say Curly.

maswera · 23/06/2010 09:44

So is anyone else 2woofling and keeping quiet about it? Eh? Eh?

C'mon..... own up

Who else is due/planning on testing in the next few days...?

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 23/06/2010 09:49

CAMEL!!!!! That is fabulous news! Huzzah huzzah huzzah!

I knew this would be a lucky thread - now, who's next?

Bessie123 · 23/06/2010 09:49

I am probably speaking out of turn here, please feel free to tell me to shut up, but it feels like things are getting a bit pressured. All these updiffs are wonderful, amazing news, but should we lay off BESHes on their 2WOOFL? Maybe let them do it quietly? I dunno. I'm not even 2WOOFLing and I can feel the pressure.

Scorpette · 23/06/2010 09:58

PERFECTMOTHER, I am literally crying with happiness as I'm typing! Am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy for you, I don't have words to express how happy! I know how desperately you wanted this and all the shit you've gone through and I've been 'praying' for your diff so hard for so long and... and... well basically, I don't have words to fully describe my utter delight for you I feel like running squealing all the way to That London to engulf you in a flurry of hugs n kisses. But seeing as I can't, accept this might nekkid dance

You'll be wearing that hump round the front soon

Summer Diffment is truly go - AND HOW!

PS Good work on the menkul early hours testing

PPS DPO9 and have moved into the cigar phase.

Muser · 23/06/2010 09:58

No you're probably right Bessie. I think we are all just a little overexcited as we're not normally this lucky.

It is, after all, a Mass Summer Diffment Programme and the summer has only just begun. And we know that ALL WILL WIN in the end, whenever that is.

Scorpette · 23/06/2010 10:00

PPPS Any plans to go to that AC clinic and slap down the BFP in front of the nurse and yell 'Go shove yer BMI up yah fucking arse!'?

laurielou · 23/06/2010 10:02

Bessie I appreciate your concern for us 2WOOLFers, thank you. But I can honestly say that I don't feel pressured at all. This is the only place I can openly menkal about it, & no-one has ever told me I'm daft when its all come to nothing. Completely opposite from pressured I find this releases some of the pressure as I can share the menkal.

But nice to know BESH concern.

For anyone interested (2WOOLF in secret? Can't do that) I'm on CD24, more FFJ than usual & feel slightly nauseous. But truth be told that's prolly more to do with nervers / excitement for Glasto.

maswera · 23/06/2010 10:02

Dohhhhh, OK, yous can all 2woofl in peace I spose

maswera · 23/06/2010 10:04

Oooh, Winds of Change has just come on (pan pipes version too - nice!) Can I take that as a good omen for our very own Scorpion...?

Scorpette · 23/06/2010 10:05

I'm 2WOOFLing and don't feel any pressure, just happiness The long-term BESHes winning makes me feel luckier, as, if it's their time, it makes sense that it's my time too, surely?

(Oh god, please don't let me have jinxed myself with that optimism! I rarely feel any!)

iggypiggy · 23/06/2010 10:07

Lovely BEShies - I HAZ JUST HEARD THA NEWS!!!!!!!

Am still squealing with excitement for lovely gin and then there is news of muse and now, now there is camelina news too!!!!!!!!!

Am very fucking happy for all of you.

chochi how is it going lovely?

Apols for absence - be away from computers and rubbish... but I hope the rest of the BESHlets are doing well?

Much love and violence to the lot of you

Bessie123 · 23/06/2010 10:09

iggypiggy how are you feeling? I have been meaning to ask, are you on the midwife programme or the consultant led one at the hospital? I have some midwife recommendations

laurielou · 23/06/2010 10:09

nevers?? nerves of course. See, they're so hyper I can't even type properly.

aries did you & Mr A manage to get your groove on last night?

PollyPoo · 23/06/2010 10:10

Re: the 2wooflers, I have to say that last time we had a rash of diffments, it only upped the excitement and hope for us all. I was gutted when my droid appeared and signalled it wasn't my time, but no more gutted than I was every blardy month. Let the celebrations continue I say!

Lozzer I had loads of FJ between ov and droid due date when I got diffed this time. It had a kind of yellowy tinge.

laurielou · 23/06/2010 10:11

Oh, is it inappropriate to ask that? I've lost all ability to function today.
