We're getting serious this time BESHies. Welcome to the Palace, where the emphasis is on sophistication. Cast your eyes over the plush carpet, admire the oh-so-carefully worn leather armchairs with sidetables and little green lamps. We have the Bonds of the ages as barstaff, waiting to serve martinis and the finest champagne.

To your left you'll see the Pit, which hopefully we won't be needing much. To your right the Cave of Gloom, and straight ahead we have our special space for the 2WOOFL. You'll find beanbags and gym balls there, the walls have been specially painted to allow you to write your symptoms up and wipe them off if they disappear. It's all the rage for Blue Sky thinking these days. And there are donuts and coffee to keep you going as you try to shift that paradigm.

Power nap sounds like the perfect preparation for SWI. And who could resist being woken up with strawberries and champagne? OK, possibly not too much champagne or he may just go straight back to sleep.

Headbanger · 22/06/2010 22:37

If I woke the OM up with strawberries and champagne he'd be so puzzled he'd go to the window and check the world hadn't come loose from its moorings and started hurtling through space*. Nor does he take hints. If I want SWI, or any sort of S, I have to say, "I would like to have sex now. I shall have a bath, and then see you in the bedroom in roughly fifteen minutes. Does that sound feasible?"

We're all with you Aries. And I'm sure that's a very sessy thought.

*Disclaimer: I do realise that that's exactly what the world is doing.

Muser · 22/06/2010 22:44

I do very similar Heads.

Will someone please tell me I can stop gusset checking now?

OP posts:
MountTheFairy · 22/06/2010 22:48

Oh Bangs the secs at your place sounds much like mine.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaries are you doing it yeeeet?

If we throw Nadal in the pit, can I have a bit of Federer too? I know, me and my obsession with clean cut boys...

Headbanger · 22/06/2010 22:48

Stoppit Muse. Let the menkul rest a little. You're seeing the medicular staff soon right? Zen until then! And zen after!

Muser · 22/06/2010 22:52

I'm not even menkulling about it! It's just been so deeply ingrained over the last 2 weeks that I do it automatically. Must break the habit.

OP posts:
Headbanger · 22/06/2010 22:58

I can imagine it'd be hard to stop. You need an alternative form of rummaging. Cleaning the kitchen drawers?**DRAWERS. See what I did there? Hmn?

Scorpette · 22/06/2010 23:41

TYF is terrified or 'what's the point?' about all sultry come-ons. I too have to do the 'Sex after my shower okay with you?' thing too. And then nag him to get off the puter/PS3

Muse, step away from the gusset. And keep focussing on the fact that in a few months you won't even be able to see your gusset!

Aries, try to keep a light on next time. The cameras have barely picked up any of the action

PerfectDromedary · 23/06/2010 04:51

You know what, guys? First Response don't suck, either.

maswera · 23/06/2010 07:08

PerfectDromedary · 23/06/2010 07:28

Apparently, stick says yes! Line came up within about 10 seconds, which felt quite definitive. Is early days, etc - but at least have had the opportunity to tell TNB that we have managed to make a baby without medical intervention!

This is a fucking excellent week.

CurlyCasper · 23/06/2010 07:28

NEKKID DANCING TO THE EXTREME!

maswera · 23/06/2010 07:53

In the meantime - what day are you on? Did you have symptoms that you didn't tell us about?! Did you suspect? Were you trying this month?

Seriously I am beside myself with wonderments but SO FUCKING HAPPY!!! xxx

Muser · 23/06/2010 08:02

Muser · 23/06/2010 08:10

Fingers crossed for you gin, I'm sure all is fine. I have been panicking at every little twinge too.

I am still dancing around in happiness for camelina. I love this round of summery good luck. Am now eyeing up Scorps.

You are a dark horse though Cams, keeping all the 2WOOFLing quiet. All the better to make us all scream with excitement!

OP posts:
ginhag · 23/06/2010 08:14

I knew about the woofling

she refused to discuss it though

Ocarina · 23/06/2010 08:14

Wow, Cam, that's amazing news.

Crossing everything for you gin, how long till you get a scan?

PerfectDromedary · 23/06/2010 08:16

I couldn't woofl out loud - it made me think that it would all go away. And we only had sex once - like proper teenagers - and I just thought I was being insane and the whole diet and exercise thing had changed my periods. But it turns out that I didn't spot this month because there is a small bundle of cells demanding my womb's attention. Managed to wait until officially late (today is CD29) to POAS.

Am still in de Nile, and intend to be for the next 8 weeks.

Love all you guys.

Gin I hope every twinge is just Wayne and Waynetta settling in for a comfy few months.

ginhag · 23/06/2010 08:22

Thanks oc. not sure of scan date yet, would be pointless this early,so a week or 2 at least... Have first hcg blood test today n next on fri morning...hopefully they will be rising nicely, but that alone is not enough to reassure me after the way things went previously...

Anyway, enough fretting. More SHOUTING!!!!!!

maswera · 23/06/2010 08:34

Wooooooooo!!!! I'm back for more SHOUTING! and JUMPING UP AND DOWN! - but am in public now so don't make me cry again...

This is just so exciting. Tell us MORE!

And a reassuring snuggle to gin - pains can be OK I fink, but please to keep us posted. (and have a poke in the eye as well for knowing about the 2woofling )

PerfectDromedary · 23/06/2010 08:38

Let us know about bloods today, haglet.

mas Are you coming back home before baby is born?

Bessie123 · 23/06/2010 08:44

oooh, ooh, gin I had pains, all was fine.

CAMEL that is the best news ever.

maswera · 23/06/2010 08:48

Am indeedy. Back in September.

Tell us more... When did you start to suspect? How long did you wait to test? What did TNB say/do...?
