We're getting serious this time BESHies. Welcome to the Palace, where the emphasis is on sophistication. Cast your eyes over the plush carpet, admire the oh-so-carefully worn leather armchairs with sidetables and little green lamps. We have the Bonds of the ages as barstaff, waiting to serve martinis and the finest champagne.

To your left you'll see the Pit, which hopefully we won't be needing much. To your right the Cave of Gloom, and straight ahead we have our special space for the 2WOOFL. You'll find beanbags and gym balls there, the walls have been specially painted to allow you to write your symptoms up and wipe them off if they disappear. It's all the rage for Blue Sky thinking these days. And there are donuts and coffee to keep you going as you try to shift that paradigm.

I would love a cheeseburger right now. Or a steak. I am making some pasta as I need food and proper dinner won't be until 8pm or something crazy.

If farting excessively and always being hungry are pg symptoms then I'd have at least 20 kids by now

Ocarina · 23/06/2010 16:55

OK, am also hungry, is that a symptom then? (In reality have no idea if I ovulated, temps are all over the place so suspect 2WOOFLing is pointless).

Saw the second half of the football having listened to the first half in the car - suspect I was in the minority celebrating the goal half way down the M9.

PollyPoo · 23/06/2010 16:57

It was a very nice cheeseburger in a totally crap junkfood-tastic kind of way... just what I needed. I was so hungry after work the other night I went to mcdonalds drive-thru and then stuffed my face in the carpark so I wouldn't have to share with TG when I got home.

Scorps I knew summat was up this time when I stopped farting.

Oooooh CaspertheFriendlyGhost is in actual labour. V exciting. Hope teeny tiny baby arrives ok.

On the hunger. It is true that I am normally Little Miss Feed Me Now. I may just be projecting.

Bollix I have to leave for work in a mo... what if I miss something? Has been such an exciting day!

Scorpette · 23/06/2010 17:04

Go Casper! Go Casper! Can't wait to hear the good news

Scorpette · 23/06/2010 17:08

This is a truly great day, isn't it? As IdealMutha starts her baby, Casper gets to meet hers! Brings a tear to me eye, so it does.

Ocarina · 23/06/2010 17:25

ooooh, that's very exciting, go Curly Polly you don't really think England losing would've stopped everyone talking about the football do you? Fair point about the waste of money though, but as it's not generally my money I don't care too much.

Scorpette · 23/06/2010 19:19

GAH! My ridiculously expensive, authentic Italian pizza stone has mysteriously broken itself! You just can't buy them like this one in the UK. Am I a sickeningly pretentious middle class twat for being upset over this? AIBU?

Talking of AIBU, I have commented on a scintillating discussion about frozen peppers over there. ROCK 'N' ROLL, BITCHES!

Ariesgirl · 23/06/2010 19:25

what can I do to make him shag me? What can I do to make him care? What can I do to make him stop being a tosser? What can I do to make him stop watching programmes about naked Australians and come to bed with me...? La la la.

Ariesgirl · 23/06/2010 19:37

And have tracked down your peppers post, Scorps. Loved the one which said the OP was clearly a loon. It has to be said, you did post a very serious reply! Though I suspect you are being ironic. As was the OP. Oh the world's gone mad, mad I tell you...I nearly posted one saying "You're all mental."

Medee · 23/06/2010 20:43

oh my god! oh my god! oh my god! You don't log on for a couple of days, and bloody CamelinaJolie blooming well gets updiffed. Huzzah my lovely.

Ocarina · 23/06/2010 20:44

Aries Don't understand why he's not chasing you to bed as I type. Men are stupid sometimes.

Medee · 23/06/2010 20:45

Muse you too?! Woo hoo!

Muser · 23/06/2010 20:50

It's been a bumper crop of diffments Medee!

Flying visit to say there must be something in the Palace gin what with all the recent baybee news. My guessing its probably been laced with sperm a speshal extra fertile exilir!

So excited !

Medee · 23/06/2010 21:03

ooh, loving all this Summer Diffment.

Now, I know we don't list, but we've Scorps and Lu at 9/10 dpo? Me at 3/4 dpo. Who else is 2WOOFLING. And I feel no pressure, just excitement and longing to be part of the same ante-natal gang. Though, if that is the baby quote done for this thread, I couldn't have wished it on nicer people.

Scorpette · 23/06/2010 21:04

I was actually being serious... but not taking the issue seriously (covers up shame of obsession with absolute trivia ).

Poor RieRie Have you tried actually saying 'stop watching programmes about naked Australians and come to bed with me'? I know what it's like to feel so hurt by a sexual rebuff (Cunt Ex used to not ever have sex with me... why I stayed is anyone's guess). Have you told him how hurtful it is for him to keep putting off sex and how rejected it makes you feel? And that it makes you feel very lonely in the baby-making game (I'm presuming)? Men are simple creatures who don't get these things. They should, but they're trained to allow themselves not to be aware.

I'd shag you. But it might not help with TTC

Ocarina · 23/06/2010 21:16

I'd be on Medee's non-list but no idea how many DPO. CD 21, so if it goes for 28 days again droid due next Thursday. But who knows.

How big can the ante-natal gang get do we think? Hopefully very.

Scorpette · 23/06/2010 21:18

On a lighter note, just flicked over to Big Brother. According to 'Sunshine' (I can't write her name non-ironically), pet monkeys are miles better than babies because they can't talk and don't take your make-up and mess with it and ruin it.

So we all need to get a chimp. Now she's singing Lady GaGa. I can't watch anymore.

(My Mum wants a pet monkey. She's, um, a little eccentric. Unlike me)

Medee · 23/06/2010 21:18

so possibly 7dpo if you are a 28dayer?

Massive, Ocs, I hope!

Ocarina · 23/06/2010 21:31

well it would be 7dpo if it weren't for my stupidly short LP. I'm having a giving up trying to understand my body day

PerfectDromedary · 24/06/2010 09:14

Medee Lovely to see you! I was wondering where you'd got to.

I think the ante-natal gang should be the biggest that the TTC boards have ever seen! Apparently sunshine encourages your body to think that having a baby is a good idea, too, so we should all go and hang out in the park and not be in a sweaty horrible office.
