We're getting serious this time BESHies. Welcome to the Palace, where the emphasis is on sophistication. Cast your eyes over the plush carpet, admire the oh-so-carefully worn leather armchairs with sidetables and little green lamps. We have the Bonds of the ages as barstaff, waiting to serve martinis and the finest champagne.

To your left you'll see the Pit, which hopefully we won't be needing much. To your right the Cave of Gloom, and straight ahead we have our special space for the 2WOOFL. You'll find beanbags and gym balls there, the walls have been specially painted to allow you to write your symptoms up and wipe them off if they disappear. It's all the rage for Blue Sky thinking these days. And there are donuts and coffee to keep you going as you try to shift that paradigm.

I went for a 5k run on Sunday and much walking and cycled into work on Monday. Young Bob did not fall out. I fully intend to keep exercising if my body lets me. Just don't overdo it Scorps.

Pette I had similar menkuls, but they just made me progressively more unfit... Start light?

Scorpette · 23/06/2010 11:47

That's all the motivation I need! I know both you and Muser have been v active just before your wins, so that's v encouraging, ta

Anyway, it's not like I'll be Jane Fonda-ing the living shit out of the place anyway (picture disgruntled chubber in old t-shirt of Dad's, joggers and Converse sweating into a near-collapse after 3 mins on treadmill).

Wow, I really need to update my fitness references!

PerfectDromedary · 23/06/2010 11:49

NB Don't take me too seriously on the menkul advice front - I've been trying not to poo all morning in case BOC falls out.

Ariesgirl · 23/06/2010 11:55

Am just dashing in for ten seconds to say YAAAAAAY! Incredible news!

Back later.

CUNextTuesday · 23/06/2010 12:03

I know we joke about bumsex, but poos and babies grow in different places, I promise

Bessie123 · 23/06/2010 12:09

Camel the first few weeks of my updiff I used CBDs to make sure my hormone levels were going up. I think you can do it till 5 weeks, then have a scan at 6 weeks.

Bessie123 · 23/06/2010 12:12

Oh jeebus. I was just snooping having a look on an ante natal thread (the june one) to see some nice news about new baybees and someone has named their twins Atticus Fox and Rafferty Bear.

Rafferty Bear??? I would totally take my CEO seriously if he were called that. Honest.

Scorpette · 23/06/2010 12:23

Drom, your poo comment was funniest larf of the day!

Is hassling Christians on the Dawky fred a sign of updiff?

maswera · 23/06/2010 12:25

I had (has) loads of FJ too. Are you taking your pee sticks to Glasto Lorry?

Know what you mean on being scared to poo Humphrey. Can I borrow that biology book after you....

Scorpette · 23/06/2010 12:27

MasweeraAttack, are you saying you've not had a shit in months? Can you get Syrup of Figs over there?

maswera · 23/06/2010 12:36

Noooooo, I have scorps, honest! But there's an illogical part of your brain that is worried about pushing the wrong thing out....

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 23/06/2010 12:38

I'm so excited about this thread!

Bessie123 · 23/06/2010 12:50

Isn't anyone going to comment on rafferty bear? Really? Play with me [pouts]

CUNextTuesday · 23/06/2010 13:01

Is it wrong to really fancy Gareth Malone? It feels a bit like (I imagine) paedophilia to feel... any danger of him being useful in the Palace at all? Perhaps as the resident pianist?

MountTheFairy · 23/06/2010 13:06

Farty Bear? That's the best I can muster. Not as witty as some of yous.

BTW, what's the Dawkin's fred? There's anotha fred on here and them all wants to pray for me an' all, but I kinda needs peeps in similar situashon so dunno what to do.

MountTheFairy · 23/06/2010 13:12

BTW, I was just engaging in the futile exercise of calculating dates and realised that our recent differs will have amazing due dates! I love beginning-of-spring babies! You have all that summer to look forward to, and the nature is waking up with your baby...

Ahhh, ehm, I deserve a fish slap for all dat cheezyness don't I?

laurielou · 23/06/2010 14:01

mas nope, no pee sticks to Glasto, travelling light, innit . Will also not test until I am Officially Late. Well, OK droid round about due.

drom . You're funny......

bess am speechless at those names. Not fo real, surely?

Bessie123 · 23/06/2010 14:20

I think the names are for real. But it has inspired me, I think I will call mine Humperdink Bananaface

cheggers · 23/06/2010 14:20

gah! have been trying to get hands free ALL day...

bloody amazing and marvellous news. well done camelina

and give that boy of yours a punch on the arm. his one in a million is one hell of a swimmer

arrr - am just so delighted.

good luck to loobyloo too. with impending diffment and glasto visit (first time innit?).

am v. v.jealous. did consider it but thought that may be a bit mean to the weeny none year olds in my charge

scorps you're next!

laurielou · 23/06/2010 15:08

cheggers! how the devil are ya? Thanks for the good luck - yeah tis first time for impending diffment & Glasto .

Only popped in to see if there were any more diff announcements. None! Bah! Rubbish - bloody slow fred, eh (this is what I've looked like all day. Tis not really a great look).

Right, I'm off soon. Pliz to be nekkid dancing to the sun Gods for a nice weekend (& the fertility Gods of course).

MountTheFairy · 23/06/2010 15:29

Ooooh, Dawkins fred, now I getit!

Scorpette · 23/06/2010 15:36

Bessie, I think the ridiculousness of those names have just shocked everyone into silence. Nothing in my lifetime has trumped the hippy couple with twins Xerxes and Appolinata I met yonks ago. I know I've mentioned them before but it was nearly 15 years ago and I still haven't recovered.

I farkin HOPE I'm next! Not to steal anyone else's rightful baybee nor nuffink but give me my baybeeeeee NOWWWW!

Went to gym and am now paranoid that minute crampulence and activity in Joe Mangel area means encroaching droid and not the increased blood flow to his Ute. Cigars still clear of unnecessaries

Still, wasn't as unfit as I thought I'd got, so that's good.

We've all become good diff news junkies now, haven't we?!

Muser · 23/06/2010 16:32

I am so hungry. How is it possible to be this hungry all the time? Add that to your "symptoms to obsess over" 2WOOFLers. I have been starving hungry for the past week.

I am having a lovely afternoon working on the sofa, having escaped the office. What is everyone else doing? It's very quiet. Are you all watching the football?

OP posts:
PollyPoo · 23/06/2010 16:41

Muse have been to the hell that is softplay with the short one. It wasn't too bad for a change - think everyone was watching the footie (which I have no interest at all). Well, when I say it wasn't too bad, I mean apart from Iris getting screaming tired, refusing to leave the ball pit and then pissing herself. It was great! Oh, and I didn't have any spare clothes for her as she has never done that before, so she had to go home with a pair of boys dinosaur pants on and some boys shorts. Never mind, I did get to stuff my face (I am also constantly peckish) with quarterpound cheeseburger, chips, fizzy stuff and a mars bar. All of which is banned from my no yeast/sugar/dairy diet. Oops.
