For anyone old and new trying to conceive their first child. Lovely friendly ladies with a penchant for acronyms, charts and unsuitable snacks await your arrival with open arms. Here's the blatantly copied and pasted List from the last thread. If anything's wrong, I absolve myself of any responsibility!

Morning all - it's been a quiet weekend.

kaloki I'm moved you to not counting. I'm glad you don't have to go on the pill & really hope these antibiotics clear things up. Oh and I don't think I said that I'm pleased the tribunal went well - do you know when you will get the outcome or have you got it already?

florin How you feeling...?

womanly So sorry that your test came back low. I hope you really enjoy your holiday and are spoiling yourself. I can't imagine how you are feeling. Stay strong and when you are back hopefully you can work with your doctors to get your BFP.

cavemum That's exactly how I feel at the moment - that I just want nature to take its course. However I understood others might a) not want their hopes raised by a longer cycle & b) want to know if they have a problem with recurrent CP's. It's a minefield this testing business and you are right people should test when they want.

ifatfirst I hope you are enjoying your SWIathon!

lanky I hope you enjoyed -several- a couple of drinks this weekend and your ERTD cramps have gone.

mrswaj Any sign of that peak yet or are you not using the CBFM this cycle? Happy SWI'ing anyway.

aires I remember you saying that less MN, more sex would be the answer? I hope that's why you've been quiet.

zippys I hope the villa is amazing. Yep I am very of your sunbed.

Huge wave to Oneof8 and lucky - I hope both of you are well.

Happy Sunday all - I'm off shopping for a new dress for a wedding we are going to in a couple of weeks. Yey for the weekend after payday.

CaveMum · 18/07/2010 11:11

Morning all, it is indeed very quiet here this weekend. I have been checking in periodically to see if anyone had been posting - I feel like a cyber-stalker!

Zippys - very jealous of your holiday - don't burn now will you

kaloki hope you are feeling a little better. I think your doctor is right about not going back on the pill just yet - antibiotica can meddle with the effectiveness of the pill.

florin hope the signs are still looking good

haloflo glad I amanged to make some sense!

Hello to everyone else [waves], especially any lurking graduates. It is lovely to hear from you all. I do try and pop in to the Grads thread for a read once a week or so, but feel like I shouldn't be there - like peeping through a hole in the fence IYKWIM!

Karstan · 18/07/2010 11:34

My 2ww was meant to be spent sitting in the garden, reading and enjoying the sunshine and just generally being really chilled. The weather has really let me down

Ariesgirl · 18/07/2010 12:25

Hi everyone. Have been v quiet because we've been extremely hysterically busy and stressed. Also Wee Nephew was born the other day and he's very poorly in SCBU so a little worried about him. That's why am quiet. Not much sex sadly. Halo!

OP posts:
haloflo · 18/07/2010 18:02

Sorry to hear that aires - I hope I didn't put my foot in. It must be very a worrying time for your family. I truly hope he is ok.

Florin · 18/07/2010 18:04

Hello everyone! Hope u have all had a lovely weekend. I've been sailing all weekend it was windy so completly knacked. Still have very mild cramps every so often so not feeling very hopeful although feeling sick and was very nearly actually sick while sailing (and I have never had sea sickness!) and completly knacked but then i have been really busy keep putting off testing as would prefer to let nature take it's course as I find it less dissapointing that way!
ariesgirl fingers crossed for your poor little nephew hope all goes well
zippys hope you are having a lovely holiday. I'm very jealous!

CaveMum · 19/07/2010 13:43

Afternoon all, it us eerily quiet round here of late. Of course I'm still stalking lurking!

Had another go at baby holding today when our new office mum popped in with her 7 week old baby. Blimey she's grown! Had a brief cuddle but had to hand her back to mum as she got quite wriggly and was soon demanding her morning snack!

[waves to anyone that might be hanging around]

Florin · 19/07/2010 14:28

Hi cavemum I'm lurking too. Lucky you having cuddles with little baby. It's my wedding anniversary today and dh ordered an exact replica of my wedding bouquet to be delivered to me at work which was so sweet of him. I nearly caved in and bought a pregnancy test went into boots and everything a bfp it would be a lovely present to give him but I held back as don't want to feel all fed up on our anniversary when it will be more than likely a bfn!
Hope everyone enjoying the sunny weather.

MrsWajs · 19/07/2010 14:34

I'm hanging around! Just been lurking over the weekend as was away visiting rels. It is very quiet though!

Not using CBFM halo as I'm on nightshift and it would be impossible, also not temping as my thermometer broke! So I guess I'm just kinda winging it!! This week is SWI week though and haven't really managed much so far, really gonna have to get on with it between now and Friday I think or any chance of conception will be immaculate!!!

Bit p'd off just now as trying to organise the hen weekend for my friend who I'm bridesmaiding for in October. Why is there always one person who see's it as there position to control everything. There are 5 of us who are bridesmaids, 3 of us who have been friends since we were 14, another is the brides brothers girlfriend and the other is the brides cousin. The brides cousin is TAKING OVER!!
Me and the 2 others who are longtime friends had made arrangements and started booking things for the weekend as the bride was getting panicky that we hadn't done anything. Then the 2nd time we met the cousin came as well and just started to take over, criticising the plans we had made and trying to pick holes in it all. Now she has gone and organised other things to do while we are away before checking with the rest of us!! I don't dislike the things she has organised but I felt it was rude not to run it past us all first. One of the other girls spoke to her last night and suggested we all meet up again and she said no - she doesn't see the need to?! Not sure what planet she's on tbh. And now I find out this morning that she's spoken to the bride and told her she thinks we are all annoyed with her!!!! WTF - as if the bride doesn't have enough to worry about she now thinks the bridesmaids are falling out!!

Any one else experienced this sort of thing before as suggestions are welcome?

Florin · 19/07/2010 15:31

Sorry not sure why my message posted twice stupid iPhone!

stegasaurus · 19/07/2010 16:50

Hi,
I'd like to say hello and join this thread if that's ok.
I've been TTC for 15 months now so maybe this will give me some hope. We had a hospital appointment in June where I was told I probably had PCOS as had only had 4 periods in a year since coming off the pill and none in nearly 6 months. Took my first course of Provera and Clomid at the end of June and am trying not to get too hopeful now that it might have worked.

highheelsandequations · 19/07/2010 17:06

Hi,

Do you have space on here for another newbie? I promise not to whinge too much, am good at baking and always have wine in the fridge

CaveMum · 19/07/2010 17:39

Welcome stegasaurus and highheelsandequations

Always room for some extra newbies!

We're a very friendly bunch, thought we've been very quiet the last week or so - very unfrolicker like!

I'm sure someone braver than me who knows what they are doing will add you to the list later today/tomorrow.

Happy frolicking!

highheelsandequations · 19/07/2010 18:29

Thanks for letting me in cavemum, will start the baking and open the wine.

Stats for list are (I think)
TTC#1 cycle 12 (ish) UCL 32+ days CD24

Am also currently on clomid and today bought a bbt thermometer and ovulation sticks but I am not obsessed

luckyseven · 19/07/2010 19:53

Thought i would do the list for today for old times sake and i hope i haven't ballsed it up. halo you might want to check my handywork when you are next on!

steg can you post your usual cycle length (if there is one)and what day you are on today so we can complete you?

Welcome two new frolickers - great names and hope to see you all on the grads very soon cause after the August / September / October baby boom it might be a bit quiet without you all!

Hey all, hope everyone's doing well!

I dropped into the doctor's this afternoon, and I have made an appointment for 30th July (also a smear at the same time, woohoo ). Now I've done that you can be sure that ERTD will turn up between now and then!

stegasaurus · 20/07/2010 01:00

Oooh, I'm on the list! And I have question marks. I'm guessing UCL means usual cycle length, in which case I don't have a UCL as sometimes it is 20something and sometimes it is 200and something. What does CD stand for? Hope this isn't a stupid question.

CaveMum · 20/07/2010 06:54

stegosaurus yes UCL is usual cycle length. If you want take an average figure and we'll use that for now.

CD is cycle day, so that is the current day you are on. So if today is the 7th day of your cycle, for example, we'd put CD7 and it would be updated on a daily basis when someone does the list.

Morning to everyone else

highheelsandequations · 20/07/2010 11:29

Ooh I feel like I belong here already!

Now really must get off the computer and do something more useful than mnetting and ogling holidays..

Hope everyone's well and happy

felicityFlick · 20/07/2010 11:33

Hello my loves,

Sorry to be so quiet- back from USA and at the Pils at the min. Will be at my parents from Friday so will be able to catch up then but just stopping by to say that my very much delayed ERTD had arrived today (only 20 days late!) so I have popped myself on the list and have turned on my CBFM- EEEKKK! Excited!

Back on Friday to talk to you all- lots of love xxxx

How is everyone today? Welcome to the newbies. I tried out a few threads before this one but this is the only one I felt was right for me. Nice us all being first timers together!
Stomach cramps have disappeared and now I'm just dog tired and feeling sick. Can't decide when to test as want to leave it as long as possible. I was thinking maybe thurs or fri if ETRD hasn't turned up by then which it probably will have!

Blimey, posts!

[waves] to flick - glad ERTD showed up! Look forward to hearing about what you've been up to.

Florin you have such self control! Though I understand your reasons. Fingers crossed for later this week.
