Here's the blatantly copied and pasted List from the last thread. If anything's wrong, I absolve myself of any responsibility!

How much wine are you on??

I've been drinking since 3.30pm, and am annoyingly sober.

Also, what does BESH mean?

Bellaby · 08/07/2010 23:06

What does BESH stand for?

I'm on yet another alcoholic evening

Bellaby · 08/07/2010 23:08

Kaloki great minds think alike . Here let me top up your glass...

LankyLegs · 08/07/2010 23:35

Ugh ladies I am just walking home very poissed after too many 'porn star' cocktails and sushi! Mr L is not going to be happy! Just wanted to say love you gals- and I am totrally fucked off with the whole ttc thing- sorry all decorum out the window

Kaloki · 08/07/2010 23:46

Oooh top up!

I love you all too (sober honest)!

MrsWajs · 09/07/2010 02:41

Kaloki Drinking since 3.30pm - are you getting in as much alcohol consumption as poss before this months out!?!

I do believe BESH stands for barren evil selfish hag and PESH (graduate equivalent) pregnant evil selfish hag I loiter on that page faaaar too often!

Aries I'll trade you your BMI for my age?? And any luck with the complan search?

Lanky High five for porn start cocktails!!

Wish I was here so late cus I was drunk but sadly the NHS need my services! Roll on next weekend for lots of drunken fumbling - thermometer and CBFM are in the drawer and I am winging it! No pressure = baby, yes?

Well we are all a load of pissheads Hope no one is suffering this morning. Kaloki I think you may need to reasses your choice of drink if not pissed after that much drinking!

Aries I have helped you look cool and popular by posting on your thread. Just think if you could swap weight around we would be doing so well as a group.

I am sure you will be fine in a 2 bed, its only when no 2 or 3 comes along it may be an issue

Hermya - yay for 24 weeks marks, cant believe how quickly thats gone.

LankyLegs I know what you mean about SA, I would rather have something wrong with me, DP is not worried about SA tests but I am. I am worried there will be a problem and how he will cope with that. BUT we have to wait and not worry too early. I think we should have seperate ultrasound areas for us barren ladies, you poor thing having to sit through the video!!

MrsWaj we could be our own under 30's BESH . I think thermometor and CBDM in drawer will be a good thing as it is so easy to obsess. Lets hope this is your month.

Kkas if you're lurking hope ERTD hasnt made an appearance, let us know when you have POAS.

Right I am fully sober (now) and love you all too. In fact I came out of the hospital yeatserday and wanted to sit in the car and update you all straight away. Then thought does that make me really sad that I wanted to let you all know before any of my RL friends (I do have some honest!)

I am going to rant again now - just to top off yesterdays bully pregnant. I was informed yesterday that someone I was friends with years ago is pregnant again. She is a raving alcoholic, her first child was born with a deformity due to her drinking, she has had 3 miscarriges and then another baby died at a few months old due to alcohol related issues. The 2 children she has are on the at risk register and she is a shite mother who last month had to have all her hair cut off because she hadnt washed for 3 months. Now I know she needs help and she has a medical problem, BUT WHY OH WHY CAN SHE FUCKING FALL PREGNANT AND WE BLOODY CANT

ok I feel better now I have that out of my system. Well mission SWI - we went to bed last night I was rejected as he was tired and his back hurt! Wanted to scream "but I am due to OV and you are not here tomorrow", but I resisted (have vowed to never let him know when I OV). Went to sleep worried I would be missing another month but I am pleased to report that there was a pre work shag this morning so feeling a lot happier

Ariesgirl · 09/07/2010 08:38

I'm afraid that's one of the initiation tests - finding out what BESH stands for. See how cliquey it is!

OP posts:
zippys · 09/07/2010 08:45

Aries you just made me spit my tea on my computer screen. Did you have that moment of shit thats not a normal RL thing to say?

Ariesgirl · 09/07/2010 08:49

Luckily she's a pretty cool sort of gal - it just wasn't what she was expecting to hear and she then had to awkwardly ask me to keep it myself in case my frankness extended to informing everyone about their issues. I was scarlet and had to exclaim "OF COURSE I won't tell anyone!"

OP posts:
zippys · 09/07/2010 08:55

oh dear look what these boards have done to us. .

LankyLegs · 09/07/2010 09:03

Aries that is too funny, easily done though when all you think about is baby making in weird acronyms and phrases....I mean everyone should surely understand right?

Zippys that does make me why do crappy chavy alcoholic women get pregnant so bloody easily? Tis one of life's mysteries . That is super sweet that you wanted to tell all us first - I know what you mean though - RL just don't know what is going on.

I have a 'porn star' headache this morning. Bleuh. Btw you must all try porn star cocktails - passionfruit martini's with a small glass of champagne on this side. So you get shite faced and 1 of your 5 a day all in 1 go. How brilliant hey?

Ok-I must stop giving the pregnant woman that sits on the other side of the office too many looks - I think she might think I fancy her as every time she walks pass I am inspecting her growing bump

How are we all today - Bella Kaloki Cave I hope you all have suitable headaches to keep me company. MrsWajs you deserve a medal for working nights here have a as they don't have medal shapes to hand out on mumsnet

CaveMum · 09/07/2010 09:17

Morning all, would you be very jealous to know I'm posting from my bed?! Yup 9.10am and I'm still in bed!

Lanky I only managed a glass last night - saving myself for tonight!

The reason I'm still in bed (though been wide awake for the last hour!) is because I have given myself the day off in preparation for tonights Summer Ball.
All of the Officer's Mess' in the RAF (and I presume the Army and Navy) throw a Summer Ball and tonight is DH's. It's always a fab affair with ALL your food and drink included in the ticket price with no exceptions.

They are strict on dress code though, so it's a floor length gown for me, which I'm sure I will melt in! And black tie for DH. My BiL and his girlfriend are coming as our guests so I think it could get messy!

Aries thanks for the tip re the strike through. I agree it was a rookie mistake and am suitably penitent!

Hope everyone gets plenty of sex in over the weekend, SWI or otherwise!

I may pop in again later today, but otherwise I will probably not be back till the hangover subsides tomorrow!

LankyLegs · 09/07/2010 09:20

Ooh Cave I went to one of those as a guest once many years ago (when I was single) and it was raucous!!!

I hope you have a brilliant time and your dress sounds gorgeous - lovely excuse to get properly dressed up!

womanlytales · 09/07/2010 10:22

Hello ladies,
I did take a look at the BESH thread and wanted to join but they pointed me to some 'survey' that was buried in the threads that I had to find and take..and I was like -- Too much work - to join a thread. LOL
I am 34yrs old but I can't imagine myself leaving this fab thread for another... Agree - that we have a fab thread here.

Thank you Hermya - I do feel much better now that the swiathon is over - - Am excited about the weekend and then three days till we're on holiday - YIPPIE!!

Started a PCO weight loss thread in the weight loss topic and AGAIN - love the support we give one another across these threads... this is special

Back to work now - TGIF -- Have a lovely weekend. It's been too long since we had any bfps..so here's to many in the next few days.

Oh - and related to the waiting room story I do agree that I get more anxious when I am surrounded by pregnant women and mothers with babies especially when some of them appear smug and like the fact that I am not there with a bump or without a child means I am not worth their effort/time... That's one extreme.. The other is the story I shared here a couple of months back - was in a waiting room waiting for a blood test and these two adorable twins came and sat next to me - one on either side -- I WAS SO SURE I WAS GOING TO BE PREGNANT THAT CYCLE - It felt fab..So I didn't get a bfp but that cycle I did ovulate..so that was a sign...

Here's to plenty more positive signs in our lives

felicityFlick · 09/07/2010 18:04

Hello my loves,

Just wated to pop in and say I also love you all So much so that I am lurking on my hols, I guess that makes me sad too zips?!

Nothing to report here, still no ERTD but I can tell it is on it's way due to my incredibly sore nips!

Hope all is well, sorry can't catch up, DH will kill me if he catches me on here- I feel like I am doing something verey naughty, he he!

Lots of love to you all xxx

haloflo · 09/07/2010 19:21

Evening all!

Sorry for being AWOL for the past few days (what do you mean you hadn't noticed!?) but I'm trying to fill my 2ww with as much work as possible.

I have hardly any symptoms to report, just sore nipples but they now seem to spend about 3 weeks of my cycle v sensitive so I can't count that one. I did have a weird stitch in my right side yesterday and today that came and went. No idea if that is one and I will not google this cycle! Overall I have to say I'm not feeling that positive.

I hope everyone else is ok, I will try and read through everything this weekend.
Anyone up to anything exciting this weekend? I have work tomorrow and Race For Life Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon I will put my feet up. Anyone POAS? We must be due a BFP soon.

cherrycobbler · 09/07/2010 22:43

evening!!

lanky I LOVE porn star cocktails!! hope hangover wasn't too bad. last time i had them I ended up singing very loudly all the way home. Not cool songs either - they may have been show tunes . Its a wonder DH didn't abandon me on road.

Glad surviving tests weren't too bad - not the most pleasant of experiences though, particularly surrounded by lots of bumps. I know its not the same but one of my good friends won't stop posting inane facebook updates about her perfect baby and I am seriously considering de-friending her.

Coming to the end of ERTD, had a thoroughly shite couple of weeks so hoping for nice weekend of Pre Season Friendlies, cold prosecco in the garden (first time we've had a garden, ever - nevermind that its the size of a postage stamp) and chilling out.

Flo - welcome back - and good luck with Race for Life. You're a braver woman than me!

Cave - hope this evening is awesome and tomorrow's head not too bad.

Good night frolickers (possibly morning for you flick...) x

almostknockedupgirl · 09/07/2010 23:35

Hey ladies. Just popping in to say ERTD got me today. So I'm DRONK. Don't bother putting me back on the list by the way. The whole counting thing is too depressing.

Hope everyone has a fab weekend!

CaveMum · 10/07/2010 02:59

Evening/morning all! Just got back to our room and about to head to bed but thought I'd say hi first! Fabulous evening - copious amounts of food and booze, plus a fab band and disco. The party is still going and i've left DH and his brother in the bar, but I have flagged. I'm hoping the boys don't get into too much trouble - I left them with a few Royal Marines that BiL knows so that probably doesn't bode well!

Off to bed now, and fingers crossed my head doesn't hurt too much later on!

Karstan · 10/07/2010 07:40

Can I join?

Not trying too hard at the moment, I'm a bit scared! But finally took the plunge and used no contraception for the first time in my life last night! We'd decided after last AF to not use any but I think cold feet have put me off actually doing anythign!

Morning guys, just updating the list then hittinf the sack, nightshift is such a pisser - 2 down 6 to go

Hi to karstan have added you to the list, hope your stay here is short (in the nicest possible way!)
And almostknockedup you have been duly removed from the list.

Night night.

MrsWajs · 10/07/2010 07:55

hittinf hitting even

Bellaby · 10/07/2010 15:07

Just popping in because I am hiding out in the computer room.

MIL has just arrived and is upset over something so I have been banished from the lounge

Can't even get outside now as that would involve walking back through the lounge

Hope everyone is having a lovely day and making the most of this amazing weather.

Welcome Karstan - it's great to have you on here with us. everyone he is great so hopefully you will feel right at home.

Cavemum - your ball sounds like it was a lot of fun.

womanly - I'm sure you said before but where are you going on holiday? Very exciting - I have another week and a half to go.

Almost -sorry to hear about ERTD. You should join me in the 'Not Counting Days' section. I ran out of fingers and toes long ago!

Felicity - great to hear from you. I have no doubt I'll be popping in during my holiday too. This site is kind of addictive

Lanky - hope you are feeling better after your monster hangover yesterday. I had a few nights drinking last week so was very tired last night. I think this afternoon will just have a couple of quiet bottles glasses of wine . I will give your Porn Star cocktails a go.

Zippys - that's terrible about the girl you know - and a waste of taxpayers money.

MrsW -how often do you have to work nights? Poor you. Hope you still manage to see a bit of the sun later today

Aries - I am 31 so not sure if I qualify for your thread or not

Bellaby · 10/07/2010 15:08

Oh and has anyone got any good fiction books they can suggest for summer holiday reading?
