Hi girls, this is the new, combined thread. I figured that only those lucky enough to manage it this month would make it into spring, so I'm aiming for a big summer belly. Good luck to all of us!

Off work for the weekend now - back in the office on Tuesday. I'll catch up with you all then

lovecloud · 11/08/2005 15:20

Hello

I have been waiting for you to start this combined thread homemama

Hope you are all well. I have actually start thinking maybe i should start next month and tone up a bit???... then I thought nahhhhhhh!

I noticed today I have a creamy discharge - sorry but I can only say this to your guys.

I guess the best date is when it turns clear and stringy... come on!!!!!!!!

Is today anyones most fertile day?

Loubie37 · 11/08/2005 15:48

Not for me I'm afraid - only on day 8. OV day for me (when it happens ) is anywhere between day 13 and 17. This cycle is dragging so much!!

Twirl · 11/08/2005 20:22

Hi
I hope you don't mind me joining you - I'm new to mumsnet and definitely want to 'get fat for summer'. I'm 31, DH is 34 and DD is 16 mths. We want to start trying for number 2 and I'm feeling impatient already....

homemama · 12/08/2005 09:19

Hi Lovecloud, I'm not suppose to be trying this month because of the move but I'm on CD14 today and I know I'm OV cause of slight pain and discharge etc (sorry if TMI) Anyway, before I knew this, DH and I got a bit, ahem, carried away so we'll just have to see. Can't face being sick and moving house though. Yuck!!!!!
Good luck to you this month. What CD are you on?
Hello and welcome Twirl! Good luck!

Homemama Bet the month you aren't trying will be the month you fall pg.

Twirl, welcome to the world of TTC. Good luck!!

MandM, took a 12 months contract with a computer company in Scotland as an opportunity to live and work in a different country and get a more fluent english. Met DH and ended up staying. Now have a very Scottish accent and my English is worse than it was
How are you getting on this month?

No news from me really, I am on CD24, but have had no sign of ov (CM, ov pains etc). Last cycle was 45 days and think I ovulated around CD27-28 (if at all), so who knows what will happen this month.

Roobedoo · 12/08/2005 12:53

Had my pelvic scan this morning - 3 follicles but not big enough yet, so going back on Tuesday. I was already having dreams about having triplets - I think we could cope with twins but triplets, oh no no no.

Twirl · 12/08/2005 13:07

I don't think I could even cope with twins! The thought of coping with 2 at different ages is more than enough for me...let alone 2 of the same age!

sarjon · 12/08/2005 19:32

omigoodness, I've been looking everywhere for you guys but for some reason my computer wouldn't find the thread!!!!

Thought you'd found a secret way of blocking me?!?! (paranoid, moi??!?! never!!!!)

Erm.... nothing actually to tell now I'm here! Still no sign of af or pg, may actually have to test on monday!

sarjon · 12/08/2005 19:33

Oooo, just re read what I wrote - I'm not really that paranoid, honest!!

jane313 · 12/08/2005 19:35

How late are you sarjon?

Loubie37 · 12/08/2005 19:46

ooh I would so love to have twins! They must be incredibly hard work in the first few months, but just think, none of this TTC malarkey ever again!

Loubie37 · 12/08/2005 19:47

By the way, forgot to add, good luck sarjon, hope you get a BFP and welcome to Twirl

LilacLotus · 12/08/2005 21:03

welcome twirl!
not much news here. i should ovulate on monday. tomorrow we're going to go see a film and go out for a meal while DD is going to her gran's for a sleepover. soooo looking forward to some time alone with DP as having DD home from nursery has been very stressful!

lovecloud · 14/08/2005 15:34

Hello

Well we have been baby dancing away so fingers crossed now something is happening in there. I do notknow for exact my ovulation date, I am just going by what feritilty friend.com suggested with the info I gave but I have been watching my discharge and yesterday morning it was clear so instead of gettting up and waking dd, i got back into bed and .... - well you know!

Nice start to the day

Anyway I will make sure we bd today and tomorrow just to make sure.

I thought my dh would be delighted with all this sex but he has actually got a bit frightened of me hee hee. Never satisfied

lovecloud · 14/08/2005 15:41

Sorry for being thick but all this ttc and terms is new to me, what does CD stand for? does it mean how many days since the first day of your last period?

So if started 30th of July, am i on CD16

Tell me if i have got it all wrong

homemama · 14/08/2005 18:15

Lovecloud, yes, CD stands for cycle day, so count from first day of period!

jane313 · 14/08/2005 18:42

lovecloud am very jealous, you have to wake your daughter in the morning? I have only ever done that once with my son, when we had to leave at 4am to catch a flight

LilacLotus · 14/08/2005 21:22

i'm on CD13 and i should be ovulating tomorrow, so we've been BDing plenty the last two days. the night out yesterday and a romantic meal tonight helped quite a bit to get us both in the mood.

homemama · 15/08/2005 10:42

Morning all,
Nothing really to report, just checking in!
I'm on CD17 today, although we haven't made much of an effort this month.
Do we have anyone testing soon? If so, good luck.

hello

cant believe how stupid i have been, just checked the fertilty friend website and i bd at the wrong time, my fertile days was last Tues to Fri. we had bd the weekend before that and on saturday - do you reckon i have missed the boat???

for some reason i had different days in my head!!!

i have been trying to not think about it too much as it is our first month of trying so i did not look at the website too much and i should of.

so annoying!

lovecloud · 15/08/2005 20:58

well its probably too late now but we just bdanced for the fun of it - quickie style

i came into the room to check mumsnet and he was on the pc so i had to come up with some way to distract him

he thinks that even though we missed the days fertility friend suggested that we are still in for a chance - what do you think?

lovecloud · 15/08/2005 21:12

Where are you allllllllllllllll?

lovecloud · 15/08/2005 21:17

BUMP

LilacLotus · 15/08/2005 21:29

sorry lovecloud, i meant to reply to this earlier, but i forgot to post my reply
i think our bodies are all so different. i used lilypie.com last month and the chart was wrong about when i would ovulate. i hope you are lucky and it happened a few days later than it said you would. and as long as you're having fun in the meantime
