Ridiculous Symptom Spotting... come on... you know you do...

OK, so since TTC I've thought (or wondered briefly) the following might be signs of being pregnant...

funny rash on my legs - still don't know what this was
three spots on my forehead - I was convinced this was a hormone induced 'breakout' as I don't normally get spots)
General bad mood - turns out I'm just grumpy
crazy dreams
needing a wee
not needing a wee
not liking the smell of coconut - weird
feeling very weepy and sore boobs - hmmm... this could have just been PMS!
stuffy nose

This month I have a massive craving for Mango which I'm normally indifferent to - I am of course CONVINCED that it's my month...

Am desperately trying to hold out till next weekend to test... I need distractions! anyone else had any funny symptoms and wondered if it could be a SIGN?

bubblebrain whilst it may well be your month if you can hold off do, I personally find that AF arriving is much less disheartening than a BFN - although I am sure that your time will be coming soon!!

I'm about the same as you AF due anytime between tomorrow and Saturday, I've not got any tests in so that is good.

Hi bubblebrain and misshoohaa! I'm going to test tomorrow too! Fingers crossed for all of us. This week has been the longest of my life so far!

Havent had the spotting I usually have the day or two before AF, but feeling a bit crampy. Definately no metalic taste, sense of smell normal, and no nausea. But keep burping (not usually a burpy person at all).

If it is a BFN then I have to go on a serious diet next week. I have been sooo hungry for a week and eating loads of sugery rubbish which I usually have no problem resisting.

Well I am grabbing at straws now! Had some malteasers this afternoon and they really didn't tast right! Tasted like cheap chocolate...which of course means I am pregnant! Despite being only 7DPO I have decided to test tonight! i know it will be a BFN but I just have to do it!

Still no AF here and due today so must be pregnant!!! Still resisting the urge to test. Step away from the test strip Mythumbshavegoneweird!!! No seriously good luck and fingers crossed for the BFP! Let us know!

I always find a bfn more sad than af arriving and so find it better not to have tests in the house as I would test everyday if I could afford to!

Ive had 1 rather suspicious pregnant looking boob...yes just 1! lol

And v.tired and have been v.thirsty even tho didnt know that was a sign till i read this but have had both of these things the last 2 months and tbh AF is here and has been for a few days so my so called signs mean nothing...however we havent been actively trying but we also havent been actively not trying ifswim so havent really expected anything the last couple of months.

However this time we are going to actively try and im v.looking forward to it and the fact that I could soon be experiencing real symptoms. Tho im going to enjoy the whole process as this will be our last baby so will be the last time we try, the last time i go symptom spotting, last time we get a bfp, and last time im pregnant, so going to enjoy and appreciate the whole process and feel v.excited!

bubblebrain and thumbshavegoneweird any testing..........I'm holding off and to be honest not finding it that hard as those BFN's are just so completely devastating!

If AF hasn't got here for the weekend then I'll think about it.

Not really feeling pregnant not that I know what that feels like! My boobs are big, well I think they are but it's so hard to tell if I am imagining it or not. A few days ago did feel sick but again it is most likely my mind playing tricks on me.

I still havent tested. Day 28 tomorrow. Cycles ususaly 27-30 days long.

Keep asking DH "do my boobs look bigger? I think they're bigger." He keeps saying "nope, they look the same as normal". Loving the one suspicious boob bossyboop.

Hi Misshoohaa! Love the one boob thing. Maybe MN could add it to their list of early signs of pregnancy! No testing from me yet!! Had mind taken off whole thing by going to see Rhod Gilbert hence the late post!

I agree that a BFN worse than AF arriving hence thinking maybe if I test it will come and I can get this off my mind (for a week or so at least!)

I guess I'm not really late. I like to think I have 28 day cycles, but looking at my diary it varies between 27 and 32 days really.

I am going to try to forget about it til Sunday, but I am currently thinking about it every 5 mins. Last night I dreamt I had a BFP, and then after waking and going back to sleep that I had a BFN!

yes definately the day for giving in, on day 28 of a 28-30 day cylce and was convinced convinced this would be my month :

holiday sex every other day
tons of cervical mucus - where the fuck that came from I do not know as usually have very little being an old bird
feeling very tired
ravenous
feeling a bit of a niggle on one side - implantation?
really scatty and clumsy

tested this morning and of course got BFN

really really disappointed as everything seemed so conducive to a BFP

Does anyone know if antibiotics (a) cause extra cervical mucus and (b) delay ovulation?

I had a baby dream last night MyThumbs - I was given a baby to check over that was floppy and listless and the longer I held it the healthier it got.

Clearly my sleeping self hates my waking self!

I was a perfectly normal non-symptom-spotting person TTC UNTIL I read this thread and now I have a headache, feel tired, sick, have no spit in my mouth and no appetite and have an insane urge to go buy pg tests even though its only day 16!!!

I wouldn't worry MissWooWoo, maybe its just a bit early. Any sign of AF? I have had that clumsy scatty thing all week! I keep forgetting things and leaving my phone at home (I never do that) and tripping on things. Yesterday I caused DH and myself great amusement by trying to push open a pull door outside our flat. We have lived there 2 1/2 years.

I am clearly not doing a great job of "forgetting about it til Sunday" as I am back here again. Keep getting cramps, but still no AF. Boobs so painful they kept waking me up in the night.

I'm obsessively checking for symptoms but only 8dpo. I got pg last cycle (first cycle trying) but it didn't stick and was gone a week later.. so I'm looking for the swollen boobs and lady bits that were unmistakable last time. Every opportunity I'm checking myself like a psychopathic groper but can't make up my mind.. are they bigger this month??!

Thanks guys, it?s so reassuring to know I?m not alone. A little embarrassed to admit though that I?m new to the whole baby making thing but already obsessing to a ridiculous extent. I actually look forward to going for a wee in case there?s any new info on whether my spotting could be implantation bleeding or just the start of my period.
Oh I also had the one suspicious boob ? the right one just ballooned! but I?m pleased to say they?ve evened out now.
I also did a sneaky test this morning even tho AF is not due until the 20th. Of course I felt utterly stupid..

I just did a test a few mins ago (not even morning pee!) reading these threads makes me worse I think. Obviously it was a BFN, my AF isn't due till 24th for goodness sake! Just eaten an entire Lindt bunny to make me feel better and now slightly nauceas.. oooh, pregnancy sign??!! ;o)

still feeling groggy and have had headache all day but this could be down to still sort out dd's sleeping, can't remember the last time I didn't have a broken night. Keep popping to the loo expecting to see something but nothing so far, could be early I suppose but I haven't had sex since 1st April and I'm on day 29 of a 28-30 day cycle ... took 2 courses of antibiotics on the run up to expected ovulation day so maybe that delayed it and i'll come on in a few days. Grr!

This is our first month of actively ttc, 3 times in 5 days, hubby thinks its xmas! Tho he may not be as pleased if he knew the whole time im trying to count days and ponder how long sperm lives and what days will be best for other attempts! Im a few days away from ovulation yet so i feel quite content but looking forward to the insania and obsession that comes with the 2ww!

Actually when will I ovulate, time to look at the calendar and count days for the zillionth time...actually that is bordering on obsession so perhaps the insania has already begun lol! Then to ponder how long sperm lives...
