OK, so since TTC I've thought (or wondered briefly) the following might be signs of being pregnant...

funny rash on my legs - still don't know what this was
three spots on my forehead - I was convinced this was a hormone induced 'breakout' as I don't normally get spots)
General bad mood - turns out I'm just grumpy
crazy dreams
needing a wee
not needing a wee
not liking the smell of coconut - weird
feeling very weepy and sore boobs - hmmm... this could have just been PMS!
stuffy nose

This month I have a massive craving for Mango which I'm normally indifferent to - I am of course CONVINCED that it's my month...

Am desperately trying to hold out till next weekend to test... I need distractions! anyone else had any funny symptoms and wondered if it could be a SIGN?

pleas join in the madness and let me know I'm not the only one! xxx

Seany, I'm so sorry. I have been there and I wish I could say something that will help but I know nothing will. If you were pregnant, then it will happen again. I'm thinking of you x

TAcrazy · 12/05/2010 15:32

PS. A cheese and ham toastie is an excellent choice. Eat more of these!

seanybosmummysfedupwaiting · 12/05/2010 15:45

Thank you for your lovely post TAcrazy, it made me smile. xx

TAcrazy · 12/05/2010 15:59

You're welcome

Adair · 12/05/2010 16:23

Oh gosh, Seany that really does sound crap.
take care of yourself x

BookAnt · 12/05/2010 19:49

BookAnt · 12/05/2010 19:50

MrsFC - Congrats !!!- I hadn't updated before I posted.

MrsFC · 12/05/2010 21:23

seany, I'm so sorry too. It really is scary not being in control. Lots of love to you. How are you doing now?

TheDiceGirl · 13/05/2010 09:37

thanks for the welcome! Glad to have some people to obsess with to add to the extensive list, i had a pale pink discharge (sorry, tmi!) yesterday. Nothing today. I have no idea what this means!

TheDiceGirl · 13/05/2010 09:40

oh and also, seany, i have no experience with that as of yet so i can't imagine how it must feel, but i'm so sorry and thinking of you x

TheDiceGirl · 13/05/2010 09:50

TAcrazy · 13/05/2010 10:35

Seany - hope you are feeling ok today

Because of you lot I have had a dry mouth for days and have been looking at my boobs a lot

Does anyone else get quite tense when their AF is due? When I know mine is around the corner I tend to get a bit worked up about it and look out for the signs all the time, like I am pre-empting it? Am I crazy?

bossyboop · 13/05/2010 11:39

Oh seany but you know what the first thing i thought of when i read that? I thought wow after all this time ttc despite how awful this is, you actually did it and like TAcrazy says it will happen again.

When im upset or troubled by something i turn to the prayer of serenity, tho not religious personally its still helpful...
"God grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change, courage to change the things i can and wisdom to know the difference" I find it really helps me to cope with situations better as once you accept that its out of your hands it makes it easier to move forward as dwelling on things that have already happened and cannot be changed and that you cant do anything about will drive you mad and it really doesnt need to.

TAcrazy if you are crazy then we all are or if we are all the same then does that mean we are normal?!

Plenty cheese all round i would say ladies. Managed to eat some leaves tho served with pasta bake loaded with cheese dropped another pound. Must be magic cheese!

Lol @ tense TAcrazy, yes something like that!

and now hiccups.. 4 times today. Anyone know if that's a possible sign? Or am i even more insane and obsessive than i thought?

seanybosmummysfedupwaiting · 14/05/2010 13:53

Hi girlies, thank u all for your lovely messages . A bit of good news at last, the bleeding had completely lightened by weds night and i had no cramps so starting to think it was just really heavy af for a few hours and not a mc.Af now back to really light and almost gone and im cd5.

Bossy well done on losing another pound . What cheese is this may i ask? if its magic then i def want some. does anyone think i could manage to lose 2 stone before the 2nd june(when i go on hol)? lol
Not really helping myself out with that, im hoping wishful thinking will work its magic on me , whilst i sit here with my subway melt lol

Ant have you any news?

mummyjo1 im on my 6th round of clomid at the moment but im sorry i dont really have any imput for you. I dont even know if its working for me as i havent been monitored, apart from 1 blood test on the 4th cycle which showed i ov'd.

Dice i would consider you as normal as the rest of us

BookAnt · 14/05/2010 14:10

Hey Ladies,

Well, I'm out Have been feeling bleeeugh and had some pink when I wiped. So, I am just awaiting the full visit now. Oh well

Seany - glad to hear the craps have subsided

Bossy - I too would like to hear of this wonder cheese I never, ever weigh myself for fear of what the scales might say lol. I am going to eat a pile of crap tonight and have a much needed drink.

Dicegirl - what CD are you on? When do you plan to test??

Hope everyone is well

BookAnt · 14/05/2010 14:10

*cramps8 not craps

TheDiceGirl · 14/05/2010 14:37

Ha well I'm glad I'm at least slightly short of mad then

BookAnt- In all honestly I'm not all that sure now! I've not been trying long admittedly but when I bled for 2 days, that was on the 6th. But I'm not sure if that was a true period, so I can't really say.. Before that it was the... 19th of april? Maybe I don't know which date to go from, but I'm pretty sure I ovulated on the 1st of this month. And the pink CM was on wednesday. I'm pretty much all over the place!

I'm tempted to test tomorrow... I have no idea when would be too early.

bossyboop · 14/05/2010 18:41

Seany - cutting out sugar has always worked as a quick fix for me to get rid of false fats whatever they are, and think thats what it has been these last few days, apart from a feeble 2 minutes ive not exercised and have dropped another pound! Havent eaten that much sugary stuff compared to what i would normally have and ive started eating weetabix for brekkie instead of just a cup of tea followed by loads of sugary snacks between breakfast and teatime. Tho the mild cheddar i eat is quite sweet so maybe thats curbing my sugar cravings by giving me a sweet fix...just another theory from me!

I know this month what 'symptoms' not to take any notice of...runny nose, being starving, feeling sick, headache, fatigue, strong blue veins, sore boobs, theyve all built my hopes up for years even when not ttc!

Adair · 14/05/2010 19:14

WEeeell, I just did a preg test (about a week and a bit since I think I ovulated) and got a very, very faint line... Will test again first thing tomorrow morning. But that's promising, right?

bossyboop · 14/05/2010 19:21

omg congratulations, so nice to see another one getting that 2nd line! Want to see more of it here, it gives hope to the rest of us. Hope the line gets stronger for you! You may have ovulated sooner than you thought but lots of people get bfp 10dpo. Those strange pains you had may have been implantation, how exciting!

Adair · 14/05/2010 19:34

I think so! But I am a little anxious. I am getting weird almost, contractions - similar to my last labour pains, though not really painful. This is obviously worrying me, though the optimist in me is hoping it's just my body getting ready to do it all again .

bossyboop · 15/05/2010 16:49

my mum used to get labour pains every year on my birthday for a few years after i was born!

seanybosmummysfedupwaiting · 18/05/2010 13:42

congratulations adair!! how are you feeling now? Are you still getting the contractions? It is probably your womb stretching, though i know it can feel quite scary.

How is everyone else? it has been very quiet on here the last few days.

Ant so sorry to hear af came . better luck next month chick x

Bossy you had a hard time convincing docs you were there in the first place, then your poor mum had a hard time forgetting you had been there lol

Im on cd9 today so gonna start bding tonight, so if anyones looking me later you all know where i'll be

Have decided we are going to bd every day now til cd16 (havent told dp yet ), and then every other day after that until af is due. just to cover all possibilities
wow im tired just thinking about it!
