Happiness is a cigar called Hamlet.

Perhaps a new ad campaign for them run by the BESHes?

CurlyCasperReturns · 12/03/2010 09:30

Like poopoo, I choose finger over cigar any day. (I am now picturing matching bog roll moustaches )

scruples, at the risk of fuelling the menkul I had FFJ when I got my BFP. But then, my FJ patterns never made much sense.

Scorpette · 12/03/2010 09:59

Gusset Watch: clear.

Buzwam Cam: 8%.

Am off to work soon and can't get on the net, so you craven lot will have to wait for your updates until 5.30 at the earliest Am wearing pristine white cotton knickers, so wish me magical clear gusset luck and don't forget to pile up the gifts on Lyra's altar. And Great Goddess of ours, I have been performing ritual dances and chants all morning, if it pleaseth thou. Give me my baybee, Blessed Be!

PS CurlySue (welcome back, you non-grumpy lady!), as I said on t'last page, I had watery FJ once before spotting started, so am bricking it that this is just the same cruel prelude Thanks for the support though... fingers crossed!

iggypiggy · 12/03/2010 10:06

scorps I have heard lots of people say they get non-watery FJ before a BFP - I had bugger all FJ at all before mine - but am currently making up for it

Watery FJ is less good tho...

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 12/03/2010 10:20

You are all menkul - finger or cigar? - ewww! I find it's best to be completely oblivious to what is happening inside my body until such time as things come outside it..... Seriously, I never once had the urge to "rummage" - though maybe denial is simply my permanent state.

Not much to add re ffj - think I had some, cannot comment on sort, am desparately inobservant.

But hell, let's open some jeraboams of champagne anyway, for t'is Friday! Woohoo!

Ariesgirl · 12/03/2010 10:28

I am snorting with laughter anew about the cigar vs finger debate and drawing some very odd looks. The word "rummage" in particular

SomethingSuitablyWitty · 12/03/2010 10:29

Just to fuel the discussion, I will add my two cents: I had FFJ which was more like what precedes the fertile stuff, which just kept on going and is going still.

It's all good.

Is there really no way to hook up gusset cam in the work place?

Friday hurray! I like the sounds of jeraboams though I have no real idea of what they might be.

Bessie123 · 12/03/2010 11:21

There you all are. I was looking for you.

Scorps I'm very excited for you. Come back asap and give us an update on Gusset Watch.

Lyra hope your dad is doing ok and feeling loads better

Gin hello, we missed you.

PollyPoo · 12/03/2010 12:18

Hey all, Scorpy I know you are at work now but I am tres hopeful and working a spectacular offering for GoddessLyra - more on that later.

Back to me... or rather my Sis. Scan this morning revealed it is not gallstones, she is waiting for the doc to see her. I am guessing they will go with the other option which was pre-eclampsia. Damn I hate the waiting. Thinking I might bin my weekends plans and head up to Bath so I can go visit. I am not particularly a worrywart (unlike little sis) and my insides feel knotted up like string so god knows how she is feeling. And my mum is even worse - she is probably a puddle on the floor at the side of the bed!

Poke in the eye and gin slings to all.

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 12/03/2010 12:21

Poke right back at ya, Poo, and one for your poor sister. Am thinking of you both, would be a total mess if was my sister. Sure you'll feel better if you go and see her, are they difficult plans to change?

PollyPoo · 12/03/2010 16:22

Fanks VAG. I am now in Bath! TG is away this weekend and I had a friend coming to stay tonight, but we've postponed as her exH was pissing her about over the children and I think my mind would have been elsewhere if I'd stayed home. Within about an hour I'd packed myself, my freako food, the child and the dog into the car.

Sis is still waiting to the blardy doc and visiting hours are only 6.30-7.30pm due to norovirus. Bah! Still, I will visit her later then drink vodka with my mummy this evening.

Ocarina · 12/03/2010 16:26

Glad you've got over there Polly, what a pain about the visiting hours. Hope they get it sorted for her vv soon. I'm sure your Mum's glad to have you over there too.

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 12/03/2010 17:09

Glad you're there, Poop. Let us know what happens.

Ooh it's nearly time for GussetWatch!

CUNextTuesday · 12/03/2010 17:14

Speaking of which anyone planning to go and see Girl with Dragon Tattoo? (consider this to be a trailer before the main event)

Hope yr sis ok soon pol and that your dad is doing ok lycra

SomethingSuitablyWitty · 12/03/2010 17:33

CU - I recently read the books and thought they were fab. I heard the films were sort of rushed out pretty quickly in Sweden, with no cinema release for 2 and 3, but that they are quite good. Has the first one been released internationally? It's not out here?

Ocarina · 12/03/2010 17:43
CUNextTuesday · 12/03/2010 17:51

Out today Switty. Might go tomorrow. Not had popcorn for ages but found out t'other day that a medium bag of popcorn has 1800 calories in it. I was underwhelmed.

SomethingSuitablyWitty · 12/03/2010 17:52

1800 calories. Yikes! And one would happily eat it as a sort of vague prelude to dinner really.

SomethingSuitablyWitty · 12/03/2010 17:55

Well damn. I've to go. I'll check in later for the update...

CUNextTuesday · 12/03/2010 17:55

Is deceptively fluffy and aerated too

Ariesgirl · 12/03/2010 18:24

Is she here yet?

Scorpette · 12/03/2010 18:37

Sorry to disappoint but Gusset Watch is not longer on air. Spotting came this avo
I work with the public and I knew spotting was imminent when the only people I had to do with for the space of an hour were: 4 toddlers, 2 (twin girl) babies, their respective parents and 2 heavily pregnant women. Because my spotting has to be piss-taking, as well as heart-breaking. It was made worse by people complimenting me on how good I am with kids and how I'm 'a natural', etc., and one person asked me if I had kids and when I said no, told me I should get cracking straightaway as I'd clearly be a great mother. That really helped

Both me and TYF both got home early otnight and I have just spent last hour crying and reiterating my elaborate and totally level-headed plans for what I will do if I can't have kids; I can't say what, but I did wailingly ask if Dignitas will accept childlessness as a criteria for going to their clinic...

So let's concentrate all our hopes and offerings to the Great Goddess Lyra to help Poo's sister get better and be healthy as she delivers a healthy baby and for everyone else to win their baybee too. And for the Goddess's own Pops to get well ASAP

Group (pervy) hug!

PS Am going to to see Girl With Dragon Tattoo with my folks for my Mum's birthday later this month. Can't wait (lurve the books).

Ariesgirl · 12/03/2010 18:39

Oh Scorps . Sorry. Hug and grope.

Scorpette · 12/03/2010 18:42

No longer on air, not 'not'. Bum.

CurlyCasperReturns · 12/03/2010 19:10

so sorry scorps Cuntbuckets

SFF bought me the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo book for Christmas (his mum's recommendation I think). Not touched it yet. I have so many books in my "to do" pile and nothing on the go. so the film will be waiting till it's on DVD and I have read the book.
