Best of luck with the c-section Cheggs, at least you know for sure now which way they are coming out and it will be nice and planned and calm and shiz. Can't wait to see photos of the babes

(Gin, I know I should have told them, but I had a brief moment of thinking I should really go and do some work instead of arsing about on here, and perhaps someone else would be going over anyway. As you can see, that moment soon passed!)

Headbanger · 17/03/2010 15:23

Lucks for the C-Section, ChubbyCheggers!

Oooo twins too - have you read this? Is lovely, just lovely - little chaps being best friends (ignore the title, it's not about that at all).

ginhag · 17/03/2010 15:33

lyrapantsonfyra I wasn't meaning to boss you mate, just shirking responsiblity (hope that was clear )

cheggs might we be seeing a bit more of you if you are now on maternity leave? [allhopefulface]

cheggers · 17/03/2010 15:37

lyra i don't know how any of you manage to arse about on here all day and still do a job at all.

i think i was in the wrong job

cheers HB the title made me lol at least

RunLyraRun · 17/03/2010 15:43

"working at home", innit, Cheggs, with the emphasis very much on the "".

News just in, Dad has got fluid in his lung and they are going to place another drain into that. Wank. Don't yet have the results re: how the bile leak and associated infection are going.

Really am going to do a BIT of work now! See ya later.

Ariesgirl · 17/03/2010 15:50

Work from home also with similarly placed inverted commas. Slack time of year (if I say it often it will be true).

Good luck with your double bundle of joy. My SIL had twins and it's twice the rewards. She says!

Muser · 17/03/2010 18:35

Get the champagne out! Latest HCG levels are 109 and I can booze again. I should be officially Not Pregnant next week. And I am one month closer to being able to SWI again. Month one is up.

Ariesgirl · 17/03/2010 18:43

Pop! Pop!

EggsandBacon · 17/03/2010 18:53

Get in!!

Strawpedo that champers.

Ocarina · 17/03/2010 18:53
Muser · 17/03/2010 19:06

I realise it is not customary to celebrate declining HCG levels, but I am getting closer to normality and for that I'm very grateful.

After next week with any luck I'll never have to step into the Emergency Gynae ward or that bloody hospital ever ever again.

OP posts:
EggsandBacon · 17/03/2010 19:14

Hope so Muse.

Medee · 17/03/2010 19:56

glad to hear of impending normality, Muser!

Headbanger · 17/03/2010 21:07

moos! Good noos. Here's to never again

PollyPoo · 17/03/2010 22:59

Muse that is great news, really pleased for you.

Well baby Ava Mai was born at 4.30 this afternoon, a teeny little 5lb 8oz! Will hopefully get to see her tomorrow and will no doubt take the piss about the Mai instead of May. Tis pet hate. I would expect it of my twattish sister (who changed her name by deedpoll from Sarah Jane to Saira Jayne because she wanted to be different.) , but not of lil sis. Then again I will probably be way too busy cooing over the tiny little cutie to bother about such trifles.

Right, enough baybee talk, I am boring myself now. Roundhouse kicks and more champagne for all!

laurielou · 18/03/2010 08:14

muse here's to the normal HSG levels. But any more normality & you'll have to be evicted I'm afraid. We don't accept "normal" shenanigans round these here parts.

poo yey for baby poo. Love the name Ava, lol @ "twattish" sister.

Well I made a right tit of myself last night. Went for my pre-hol shebang-wax. She told me to get ready & she'd be right back. I'm so in the "zone" of HSG & dildocam that I whipped off everything lower of the waist & assumed legs in & knees flopped to the side position in readiness for whatever was going to be inserted this time. Poor beautician had quite a scare!!

Twas a position I assumed again a few hours later with a better reaction .

Oh, my glass appears to be empty! Chin chin!

PollyPoo · 18/03/2010 08:53

. That is fucking hysterical!

Headbanger · 18/03/2010 09:37

Confabulations AuntiePoo!!! God, that's some twattishness on the part of "Saira". Which reminds me - Zadie Smith is actually called Sadie. TRUE STORY.

Ava is a GLORIOUS name.

Laurie - that image alone made it worth struggling out of bed this morning.

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 18/03/2010 09:45

Many congrats Aunty Poo! How is your sister feeling? (not twattish one - pmsl)

Laurie - great mental image to start the day!

Muser getting there, it's all downhill to SWI now xx

Lyra how's your Dad today? xx

ginhag · 18/03/2010 09:46

lorry!!! poo to be fair on your sis 'mai' is a real name (with beautiful meanings) in 4 languages... And I actually think it's lovely. Also if you mock then your sis will cry or throw something at you, ya big meanie

Can you tell that my kid has a weird unusual, non 'british' name?

I am very low today. Cried at mr gin for a good hour last night, had rubbish nights sleep as mooch has a cold, and have already cried once this morning. Good times.

Muser · 18/03/2010 09:59

Violence doesn't seem appropriate, shall we all smother gin with our buzwams instead? And maybe some cancan dancing to cheer you up?

OP posts:
EggsandBacon · 18/03/2010 10:16

Poor Gin - crying and no sleep = pants. Lots of gin spiked doughnuts for you. And a big squeeze.

Congrats Auntpoo!! Hope Sispoo is doing ok today and littlepoo is settling in alright.

Lyra - how's your pa today?

ginhag · 18/03/2010 10:22

My son is currently screaming the place down because his evil bitch of a mother put butter on his toasted hot cross bun.

Thanks for the smothering n gin. I'm off to bang my head against a wall. And possibly cry some more

laurielou · 18/03/2010 10:57

Oh gin what a mare! If your small doesn't want a buttered hot cross bun can I have it? (is it wrong to wrestle small to the ground & take his food away?)

smotherly buzwams ahoy!

Ocarina · 18/03/2010 11:03

Hooray for baby Ava, hope they're all doing well.

Gin you are clearly a cruel, heartless mother, I mean, feeding your son yummy things like that, how dare you.
