Sadly, am joining you here following MMc and ERPC yesterday

Keeping positive and joining, if I was really really lucky, I would be due 1st November I believe.

hi,

Am ok thanks for asking. Fingers very firmly crossed for some hyper fertility this month, stocked up on vits so we ready to go.

Report
decafgirl · 29/01/2010 21:37

I just bought a shed load of vits too Have been taking the wellwoman pills to regulate my ridiculous cycles (they've worked a treat) and have also bought pregnacare conception. The new plan is to alturnate days so's not to lose the plot with my cycles again IYSWIM. Fingers crossed indeed xxxxx

liahgen66 · 29/01/2010 21:50

gosh I've got a chemist full of Zinc and vit c, (me and dh) for sperm too

vit e for healthy eggs, (as i'm an old bird)

folic obviously

cq10 for me and dh for healthy sperm and aggs. We are almost rattling. Bless him, he's a good sport my dh, (as are all our long suffering dh's)

a b complex

think that's it

Report
decafgirl · 29/01/2010 22:14

Do you think it's worth putting DH on a little program of pills then? xx

Report
liahgen66 · 29/01/2010 22:27

well there was a bus a couple of months ago that was awash with us putting our dh's on Zinc. They're cheap and can't hurt and are supposed to aid healthy sperm so no loss. Also CQ10 is supposed to aswell so i'm taking no chances, lol

Report
decafgirl · 29/01/2010 22:37

Right, that's a little job for tomorrow! God, I wish it wasn't so complicated - when you think of all the years we must've spent actively avoiding pregnancy and then it turns into a science lesson in the bedroom for God knows how many months/years. Booo!

My DH is rattling too!!!

He had a slightly dodge SA over a year ago and he has been on vits ever since- and ever since then has SA have been spot on, in the cons words ''marvellous!!'' so they must work.

He takes zinc, vit c, vit e, l'arginine and Wellman conception (a new well man- trying that instead of the normal)and omega 3 caps.

I just take pregnacare with DHA caps and EPO until ovulation.

Things are a bit weird here- had excruciating pain on Thursday CD10 and thought I was OVing really early (although not sure when I really do- we tend to time BD with ov pain which is usually a niggling pain for a couple of hours, this months pain was AWFUL). Have been taking EPO and cough medicine so have had EWCM HOWEVER temp hasnt gone up. Was 36.11 yesterday and 36.24 today- defo pre-ov temps. Have still got EWCM today. What should I do? We have carried on BDing and will do until temp rises- do you think thats right? The temp would be more reliable in pinpointing OV than pain wouldnt it- plus still have EWCM. Confused- but enjoyin the BDing so will just stick with it. Our evening routine at present is lovely- we are decorating the living room so we go to bed early and have dinner in bed, BD then watch Greys anatomy while I stick my legs in the air!! Have just decorated bedroom and the bed is smothered in cushions so it feels very cosy and lovely up there. Dont think I will want to use the living room when its finished!!

liahgen sorry to see you had a MC- MC sucks. I'm totally paranoid since mine. fingers crossed anyway- is TTC#6 a typo??!!!! If not, then I think thats amazing!!!

I want to know more about secret drawers!!!

littletortie I think temping is the only reliable way of pinpointing ovulation on a diy basis, and the EWCM sounds like you arE still yet to ovulate. Your bedroom sounds lovely too

Hi all, just jumping aboard after getting thrown off the October bus a few days ago, have been feeling very sorry for myself last couple of days feeling like it's never going to happen... but the sun is out and I have a new positive attitude

lia i'm so sorry to hear your news, I really hope you're doing okay. I'll be baking this afternoon so there'll be some cakes doing the rounds later - i'll make sure those of us at the back of the bus get first dibs
