Hi Loopy, sorry you may have missed the bus but just budge up a bit - you'd probably still be a November babe. I do think it's completely unreasonable of your DH not to leave you that pressie.

Am on CD10 today and the swi in full swing. Am knackered though so might give it a wee break tonight. Mum and Dad out in a couple of weeks so busy doing some internet shopping. Have bought a lorry load of First Respponse from Boots. Hope mum doesn't open the box when it arrives - she's also in slight disapproval mode. Grrr.

hi all

What is it with mothers and mil's? We are completely bonkers hiding our poas from them but we all do it

My mil remarked to a friend recently, (before the mc) well it's not my ds really, Liahgen wants more children, ds is going along Fucking spiteful old cow. Dh thought long and hard over whether he wanted to have more children when we decided and I know he is 1000% on board. I refuse to let her make me feel small.

So we are cd5 and about to start SIW every other day until about day 16I think, that'll cover it.

Got docs at half ten to discuss progesterone as they said it was a bit lower than they would have liked immediately before this pregnancy. Am procrastinating when really should be in the shower.

Shameless tonight, I love Shameless.

Report
ILoveGregoryHouse · 02/02/2010 09:47

Good luck at the docs. Do you think/hope she'll prescribe progesterone for you?

Report
liahgen66 · 02/02/2010 10:03

I hope so, my friend had it after each of her 3 mc's and each time had healthy pregs. It's one of those things that can't do any harm and can only help so I would like to give it a go.

HOwever, the doc at the hospital said, that it could help sustain a pregnancy that mother nature might otherwise have dealt with herself iyswim ie especially as an older mother, (43) I havemore chance of a child with difficulties and it might stick because of the proges where it might not have naturally. (and yes he did say all that to me post scan to confirm dead fetus, bastard)

We'll see, am really going in shower now.

Good luck Liahgen and to the insensitive hospital prick doctor.

Am impressed by the amount of SWI going on here, DP and I sometimes manage it as much as 3 times around OV maybe we are not trying hard enough we have been together a long time very busy lives...

Try not to worry loopy, stranger things have happened and I will be on this bus again for the return journey if I don't catch this cycle

HELLLLLOOOOO.

I've grumpily stepped off the October bus 'cos we didn't manage to TTC this month (long story, don't ask....), and I'm just in the throes of lovely lovely PMT. Hopefully we'll manage to TTC this coming cycle (grumble grumble, bitter face emoticon). HAH, and to think I was worried about maybe having a baby round the time of our birthdays!

Can you add me please?

I'm TTC#1 Cycle 1 UCL 24 CD 21

Thanks all and now I'll read the rest of the thread and obsess madly

addicted are you my dd?

tea at your dog admission. You are couple days ahead of me. Who will cave first?

So went to docs and have to repeat progesterone test at day 18 so that's 23rd Feb, seems ages away but guess with half term in there it'll pass quickly. Depending what result is they may presribe clomid, ie if it's low again. Just to stimulate things. I can handle that but she said may have to be councilled as there are sideeffects. Anyone know anything about those?

Hope everyone else is well. Feel a bit better knowing my SWI is starting tonight, and we will make some pregress if no joy this month.

tes me duck, start a fred, go on - knowing we're not alone will be so comforting! It's the effing bane of my life (well - bit early on to REALLY start complaining as it's only the one cycle that's gone by - but I'm not a patient woman!!!)

For realz man. Am considering grabbing the nearest man with a passing resemblance to Im Indoors and taking him round the back of the bnis for a knee-trembler...

Hi - is there room on the bus for another one?

TTC#2 - DD is 6m

So I got my swine flu jab and had a smear which came back normal. AF came today making the last cycle 31 days (despite BF DD) so I appear to be pretty regular despite the night feeds.

DP is desperate to take the plunge for #2

Report
QueenFee · 02/02/2010 22:29

jetli hi! Ever so slightly jealous of AF arriving for you! DS2 still feeding round the clock so no sign of it here!

sbf i'm also in the lovely NW

Interestingly this time round my DH is incredibly broody. He was interested with DC1 Not that bothered with DC2, said he wouldn't have any more (so did I [blush never say never!) Now after being talked into DC3 he wants DC4 majorly. Funny hows things change. Wondering if being at home with them all day is going to change his mind

tea lol at your dog admission too. We have a 7 month old sharing our room which does put a dampener on things, getting too old for carpet burns

queenfee can't believe the snow again up our way - had to be rescued this afternoon when the car got stuck on a hill on the way home.

Showing fertile signs today, so desperate to start SWI but have my smear test tomorrow, so probably shouldn't for the sake of the poor nurse who has to do it....

snow I know were sick of it too, were just on the edge of the snow patch today and got ice rain instead ouch!

loopy Whats the age gap between them then?

Have to say I think I may have seen a spot of EWCM so may be in luck

Evening ladies, looks like AF is on its way out so have warned DH the SWI will begin soon - there's nothing like a bit of romance eh?

Last list update I found was on Monday - I hope I got this right, have myself. This will be my second cycle on metformin and am on the full dose now. Think I'll ask DH to start on a zinc supplement, may as well.
