Hi all, old and new, this is the thread where all moaning, pieces of tmi, discussions and virtual cups of tea and biscuits come together to keep us sane .. or at the least insane together!

OP posts:
thefatladyscreams · 29/01/2010 10:17

LEE - YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE IT!

Shout over - did it myself last time. Will we ever learn???

[TFLS tries to ignore the temptation of getting one herself which she has been thinking about for the last few days ]

VivClicquot · 29/01/2010 10:55

Hahaha morning all x

So, went for a run last night and after about 500 yards got a terrible stitch-like pain which is still with me this morning. Plus I had a mouthful of my usual skinny extra shot extra hot extra wet no foam bullshit latte and nearly vommed.

Love, the lady who's not symptom spotting whatsoever, no sirree xxx

barrenbrook · 29/01/2010 12:35

Oi Tigger don't be stealing my title of longest TTC on the thread I haven't disappeared, I've just been rather slack on the posting front as I've been a little hacked off with it all tbh (much like yourself) The recent run of BFP's (which of course are wonderful) make it all the poignant that nothing has happened to either of us since the MC. I promise not to be so elusive from now on, so please don't leave us (or me!)

Welcome northlondonchoclover and underthestream sorry you are here, but we are a top bunch of birds

Must dash, puppy is calling for dinner!

louisesh · 29/01/2010 12:49

Hi all.Hope everyone s well..

LEE did exactely the same !!!! Clearblue says 3+ weeks soonow i m thinking " oh i m TOO far on!!!! Is it an eptopic???" WHY OH WHY DO WE DO IT TO OURSELVES???? lol..

CHEEPZ yes i did/do millions of tests i "accquire" them from work!!!!

VIV fingers crossed for you.

I m fine still recovering from this dreadful cough glad its the weekend time to rest up.

Hope everyones ok and have a lovely weekend, again short post as at work. All being well will have internet access on Monday, can catch up properly.Love to all

boodleboot · 29/01/2010 13:21

ha so funny Lee...why oh why do we have to meddle....luckily for me i have been spared that this time but only as my hormone levels were being captured by the squillion blood tests....

am thinking that will prob go for a pvte scan at nine weeks as would like to see all is progressing as it should be...sickness and boobs are killing me at the mo so pretty sure all still ok but would be nice to have confirmation you know....

viv surely its test time now non??

hello to newbies. welcome.

Meita · 29/01/2010 13:53

louise grin... no worries there... surely it's because it's twins? On a more serious not, glad you're doing ok. Keep it up

viv sounds promising to me... but I'll try not do indulge in distance-symptom-spotting. The more direct kind is bad enough.
I'm still hoping you will hold out with testing until it turns February.

Cheepz · 29/01/2010 14:02

Goodluckbear · 29/01/2010 14:12

Cheepz.....enjoy.....nice to peak on a Friday night!!

Viv - good luck!!

Lee - step away from the test kits. Although of course I peruse the pg test aisle in superdrug all the time, I wandered through last night, see if they've got any offers on - and I'm not even testing You'll be pleased to know I refrained from actually buying any.

Everyone - have a fantastic weekend!!

xxxxxxxxx

louisesh · 29/01/2010 14:24

*MEITA" OMG do not even say that !!!! Theres no way i can afford 2 lots of childcare. < Louise runs off panicing!!!!>

CHEEPZ you go girl!!!! Have fun.

thefatladyscreams · 29/01/2010 14:37

Lucky Mr Cheepz! He's a goner.

Louisesh - hope you were sitting down when you read meita's post!! But I have read that the likelihood of twins goes up with maternal age - I scared the pants off Mr TFLS the other night with that

Barrenb - very jealous of the puppy. Hard work but a gorgeous stage. Hope you're taking loads of photos - it's amazing how quickly they grow [TFLS gets all nostalgic and looks at her 10 stone "puppy" snoozing by her]

VivC - you had me in stitches! May you continue to go off your latte

Goodluckbear - I often wonder what the profile on my Boots Advantage card says about me

Just started to snow here (South East). It's definitely lost the novelty factor!

VivClicquot · 29/01/2010 14:46

Oh I promise you all I'm absolutely definitely holding out til February. I'm heading back to my parents' house tonight for the weekend, and will be out tomorrow night for dinner with my best girl friends. So no opportunity to test until I get back on Sunday.

Besides which, I still think I'm only 10 dpo so it's too early.

Good luck Cheepz!

Cheepz · 29/01/2010 15:13

viv Serenity and calm my ass!!

Good thing about CBFM Peak is you get 2 days in a row, but concieved last month on 1st peak day so keen to try that again as every other cycle on monitor we have done second day - and no joy

Also means for the 3 cycles before I got the monitor we were trying to early as peak ewcm was 3 days ago!! way less now then there was then ... interesting ..

At least it means this cycle is pretty much as normal

TFLS gah - hope the snow doesn't come here (london) its mighty cold

GLB love it - buying tests when not even testing - i oredred 25 cheapies the day after mc!

Meita · 29/01/2010 16:02

Snowing here too (just W of London). Doesn't look as if it will stick though. And interestingly, the sky is blue and the sun is shining. Where's that snow coming from?!

cheepz I hope you'll have an enjoyable evening!

VivClicquot · 29/01/2010 16:09

Haha Cheepz, you cheeky mare

Hopefully · 29/01/2010 16:12

Just checking back in! RL has been ridiculously busy these past few days - can't believe I'm already on CD21! In a few days I can start wasting all my money on CBDs

louisesh · 29/01/2010 16:26

Oh TFLS not you too!!!! I m going off to bury my head in the sand!!!! HA HA

Happy weekend all . Will check in on monday for next instalements!!! X

LeeWT · 29/01/2010 16:33

cheepz you are such an inspiration....sex toys, still?? i gave up blowjobs the second i was married....{as DH has reminded me now its coming up to our 1st yr anniversary...}You give Mr Cheepz the time of his life me old mate. xx

excuse my french but fck me its cold....i do believe my giant nipples may snap off entirely if it gets any colder.....this is not good

i can totally recommend Instalert cheapies from amazon. they come in like a lozenge tube, you know like what Berocca come in? Anyway so much more convenient rahter than all those poxy individual wrappers....

northlondonchoclover · 29/01/2010 17:06

Keeping my fingers crossed for you cheepz!

And good luck VivC on the upcoming test!

BTW are you TTC-ing gals continuing with exercise e.g. running, gym, skiing?

DH and I are going skiing end Feb (woohoo!!) and I am worried that if we TTC before the little bean won't implant properly

The thing is, during my last PG, I stopped pretty much all physical exercise and was probably overly cautious but ended up MC anyway. The lack of exercise nearly drove me nuts. So it might not matter? Or perhaps best to wait for March before TTC?

Cheepz · 29/01/2010 17:26

boods trying to keep things spicy - we've been together 10 years this year and married 5 and trying for 9 months, it can all get a little bit vanilla!

northlondon keep meaning to start excercising after south africa holiday in nov and xmas weight gain of a stone!!!! but so far not really getting into it - lazy I guess, healthy diet and so on of course. Thing is we have a gym at th end fo the garden, treadmill and weights and so on - but its so cold I can't drag myself in there ... lamest excuse ever but by the time DS is in bed and settled its 9pm and I am not interested in working out at that point!

liahgen66 · 29/01/2010 19:37

Good evening ladies

thirdtime I hope you are ok and have some support in RL. for you

tigger I am 43 and was 13 mths past mc when I got pregnant with the one I just lost. There is hope, please stay strong, I know it's so hard but fingers very firmly crossed for you that one day you'll get another turn, as I hope we all will

Thank you so much for all your good wishes yesterday, have to say physically it's absolutely fine as I knew it would be. No pain and absolutely minimal bleeding so as soon as that settles will be cracking straight on and counting today as day 1 as didn't have op till 10pm last night.

Have stocked up with fertility for old hags mature women and got sh sorted too so will add myself to official ttc list now.

hmm, not sure if I'm in right place there, should I be on the higher list? Can a clever person who knows what they're doing, ie anyone other than me sort me out please.

thank you

Cheepz · 29/01/2010 19:41

guess where DH is ... no, not at home being seduced by me over a romantic dinner, he is in the pub having a few beers .... guess we will have to go straight to lingerie and sex toys when he gets home. Have sent him filthy text and told him he needs to come back in a fit state before i go to bed but other than that he's welcome to have a few - helps the whole process having him be wound down at the end of the week anyway!

liah glad was ok and you are ok. xxx nice to see you on the list 'officially ttc'

liahgen66 · 29/01/2010 19:47

hehe cheepz my dh has just gone for a couple of beers with his mate too.

Good luck for later.

Thirdtimeluckypleasexx · 29/01/2010 20:14

Hey all, don't have time to read all the posts but will do later. Just thought I'd update:

Went to the docs today, orginally to tell him I was pregnant but thought I'd still go so he could log the MC - he wasn't happy and sent me to A & E. They did an internal exam and took some bloods, cervix is still closed and the blood is 'old' blood so I am not 'actively' bleeding. They are concerned about ectopic given my history and wanted to keep me in until Monday - I have discharged myself because they can't actually do any further tests until Monday.

So..... I am technically still pregnant BUT the bleeding yesterday was really heavy - Limbo again but I guess it's not over until I(the fat lady) starts singing x
