Come in, come in. The wine is mulling, the bird is stuffed and cooked. We have a huge table at which to enjoy our festive feast, and the rippling Ricky Whittle is the centrepiece, draped in berries to be removed by whatever method you choose.

A bottle of Gin and an elf-man in a box awaits each and every one of you. Just make your wish and when you undo the bow he will appear.

There's a nativity tableau in the corner, for praying to the baybee Jebus and, most importantly of all, Santa has been asked to deliver the gift of exceptional fertility, so that each and every BESH can enter the new year with a baybeeee in their tum tum.

Oh, and I've let a few cats in to aid with the 2WOOFL menkulness.

Now, let's get together and get the tree up!

Thank yous fellow haggettes and shoulder pad wearers. Indeed we could be diffed next month. More than likely a case of banging the bed knobs on the wrong days.

On the plus side, one can drown ones sorry is double gin for the next few days. Let the gin commence!!

Still can't think of shameful crush. Will do thorough research and report back.

Sympathy drinks to the non-diffed and sympathy fruit based drinks to the very diffed and very pukesome.

Medee · 15/01/2010 20:04

I haven;t joined the latest bus, as I would not officially be eligible for the October bus due to my FUCKING STUPIDLY LONG CYCLE. I have had wine, so there is a slight upside.

Medee · 16/01/2010 09:14

sorry, got a bit sweary last night. I blame the wine.

skihorse · 16/01/2010 10:13

Medee pfff - for a Scots lass you're not very good at swearing! Unleash your inner fishwife!

Medee · 16/01/2010 10:47

tsk, I'm from the naice part of Glasgow - not so sweary!

PollyPoo · 16/01/2010 11:17

I released my inner fishwife.... I can't fucking get her back in now

PollyPoo · 16/01/2010 11:23

Medee, you are a proper lady aren't you? Hope you enjoyed the wine and did not get bastard hangover this morning?

Medee · 16/01/2010 14:17

thankfully not!

ginhag · 16/01/2010 14:21

Well personally I was very shocked by medee's laguage.

As everyone knows I never fucking well bastard swear as I am a bleedin lady innit.

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 16/01/2010 15:02

Ladies. I think it's gone. I wasn't aware that I "felt" pregnant. But now I definitely don't. No blood yet but I assume that'll happen in the next week.

I'm ok. I'm having a little weep right now but TSF is with me and I'm just going to have to try my best not to think about it all until it happens. Think a retest would still show positive so there's no real way of actually knowing until it comes out (please please not a mmc).

Sorry - can't think of anything to say. But I really could do with a stiff drink! Thanks for all the kind words I know you'll say.

Ponymum · 16/01/2010 15:06

Oh no VAG. Please don't think the worst. Hanging on in there for you.

Ocarina · 16/01/2010 15:13

VAG, really really hope you're wrong and BOC is hanging in there.

skihorse · 16/01/2010 15:19

VAG Is there any concrete evidence to suggest that BOC is gone? If you were to mc this early it's very likely that the blood is there within 24 hours, there's not much messing at this stage. From all the stories I've read, the missed-mc seem to happen at around the 7 week mark. Now I know my words are no guarantee but "not feeling pregnant" does not mean you are not. Over in Valley of the PESHies I'm not sure any of us felt it at 4-5 weeks... by 6 weeks we were all very much aware of it. In fact, dare I say it? One of the PESHies and I had a little giggle about you on Thursday when you said you didn't feel anything yet... and I actually said "Let's see what she has to say for herself in a fortnight". It ain't over yet VAGGY!

skihorse · 16/01/2010 15:20

I should also add that for the first week or so I was really quite crampy... but nothing came of it. In fact the night before I got the BFP I got such fluttery cramps I was angry with myself for letting myself believe (again) that I just might be positive...

ginhag · 16/01/2010 15:21

Oh vag sweetheart could you just be having a panic?lots of people don't really have any symptoms this early you know...

I really, really hope that everything is okay. Am sending all the good vibes I can muster xxxx

PollyPoo · 16/01/2010 15:24

Oh VAG NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO.

Like Ski says - is there anything that is making you think that BOC is gone? I am keeping everything crossed for you - and please don't worry - I didn't feel pregnant with Iris until 7 weeks when I started feeling nauseous. Up until then I had sore boobs (like PMT) and constantly felt that I droid was about to appear.

Big un-BESH hugs.

ginhag · 16/01/2010 15:28

I do think that it is possible that you have 'the fear' from hanging out here so long and discovering every possible thing that could go wrong. Sometimes ignorance really is bliss,it's so easy to scare yourself otherwise...

I feel bad as I am prob one of the causes of said overexposure.

Hang in there vag nothing has actually gone wrong. We heart you very much.

skihorse · 16/01/2010 15:31

Jailbait just said "that's what preggos do, worry and pee".

gin You're not to blame you big daftie - but you're right in a way... what about all the hundreds of positive stories out there? There are tons of happy, positive stories vag - loads and loads of threads on pregnancy alone with titles such as "I don't feel pregnant". If you are one of those who sails through the entire thing without a single symptom I will of course have to kill you though.

Lots of Palace hugs for vag today.

Medee · 16/01/2010 15:34

(((VAG)))

What's BOC?

ginhag · 16/01/2010 15:35

Bundle of cells

Medee · 16/01/2010 15:48

thanks, Gin. I was thinking bunch of conception, which didn't seem right...

longwee · 16/01/2010 15:49

Oh vaggy. Big hug

And what everyone else says. There's no reason to think it's gone - it would probably be out by now it it had. Symptoms come and go - all the preggos have said they didn't feel pregnant at some point in the first few weeks...

Try to think positive my lovely

idealcamel · 16/01/2010 15:49

Vaggles I really hope you're wrong. Maybe peeing onna stick would reassure, even though we all know about hormones hanging about? Until there's blood, there's hope.

I'm sure that I will be paranoid when & if the positive line thing happens. We've all worked ourselves up so badly about wanting babies so much that paranoia is going to be a natural part of that. Plus hormone-driven barminess, of course.

In other news, am heading to end of 2woofl and have just eaten half a tub of Haagen-dazs. Can I legitimately count that as a symptom rather than greed?

Cosmosis · 16/01/2010 15:56

VAGy I hope you are wrong. FWIW I didn't "feel" preg until at least 6 weeks - before that I just had very droidy style crampy feelings. So try not to worry (ha ha I know!)

skihorse · 16/01/2010 15:56

cameltoe God yes, I love icy cold stuff! You're very right you know, we're all so wound up about getting to the finish line (BFP) that we go in to a total meltdown once it's been achieved!
