Boba and Lychees hope all goes well with the tests this week.

Sending everyone lots of luck for this cycle xx

cyncan · 20/04/2010 17:33

Hi Monkey! Really sorry to hear about the MC. I remember when you got your BFP!! Lets keep the hopes up!! It will happen again. We really need to keep the faith. I can't imagine the sorrow you must be going through. But things will happen, it just wasn't the right time.

It is really frustrating not to ovulate!! I am still waiting to see what happens this month. My cycles are so long!! They are around 35 - 55 days long! I really wish I had never been on the pill.

To all you ladies testing, all the luck in the world!!

Morning Ladies, how is everyone?

Thanks angel how are you doing?

Still no AF for me baby but am hoping it will turn up before weekend, It's my bday on Sat and really don't want to be this bloated for my new outfit!

Apparently some of the bloods take 10 days so I have made an appt for 7th May with GP to get results. Feels like an age away!

Lychees · 21/04/2010 14:15

Hi Pamsie, what cycle day are you on, hun?

Hi Boba, I'm off to get my first set of bloods done tomorrow morning.

Day 21 falls on a Saturday, do you think it's okay to go on the Friday, as I'm sure the hospital blood testing dept is only open Mon - Fri?

My GP said the results will be back the day after the tests are done but to leave going in to discuss results until a week after so I shall be going in w/c 17th May.

Hubby is really nervous about his test and has asked me to take a morning off work to go with him. How did your hubby cope with it all?

Hope AF comes soon for you.

Hope everybody else is doing okay. Sending out positive vibes to all.

boba82 · 21/04/2010 15:15

I would think that would be ok lychees but maybe you should double check with GP just in case.

DH is doing his sample tomorrow. Hospital lab is on his way to work so he will just drop in on way. I know he has been worried for sometime that he is the "problem".

Think we both feel nervous about results but I would actually rather find out that there was a reason behind it than to have unexplained infertility as I think I would find that very frustrating.

Best of luck for tomorrow and tell your DH not to worry!

vnewmummy · 21/04/2010 16:58

My DH was really embarrased and they gave him 30 mins to perform his little act...5 mins later out he came and I just lol! 5 mins - porn must of been good! Heee sorry hope that makes you smile!

I have my 1st peak today and it is 3 days early than last month. I wonder if the clomid tablets are helping. Will just have to wait and see.

Good luck to all xxx

cyncan · 21/04/2010 18:16

vnewmummy, it is y 1st peak day today too!! After some months without oving!!! I am so excited!!!

why did you get clomid? You weren't oving either?

cyncan

vnewmummy · 21/04/2010 20:10

Hi Cyncan,

I was ovulating (but maybe not every month or to full extent) but have PCOS and my old metformin had seemed to stop working. It is to supercharge my ovaries as I am 41 and getting on a bit!

Lets hope we both get lucky this month xx

Vikks · 21/04/2010 20:26

Monkey - I?m so shocked and saddened by your news, after everything you?ve been through. You are in my thoughts; I can?t imagine how tough this time must be for you. I hope that the future is brighter for you and your DH and that you?ll have your healthy baby in the near future.
Thank you for asking about me, I?m well and everything looked good at the last scan. Stay in touch if you feel up to it, I?ll look out for you. (((Hugs))) X

Cyncan Long time?.. glad you?re still around. Great news about the ?peak?! My ovaries put up a bloody good fight too (CD120 once!), it?s good to hear you?re winning. Keep us posted!!

vnewmummy Re. Good Porn.

Lychees Day 20 bloods are fine, I?ve had many of mine on different days. Good Luck.

Boba Have fun on Saturday!

Hello to everyone else.
Vikks x

Sending lots of luck to you all xxx

Keziahhopes · 22/04/2010 15:53

Hi to cyncan and monkey - definitely remember monkey and so sorry to hear of your loss.

I have begun testing with NHS, as on cycle 20 and on bfp. Referred in Jan, seen fertility consultant once, again in June - but then will have had 3 lots of bloods (as my prolactin too high but not high enough to treat which is an issue, and low progesterone on day 21), 2 Semen Analysises and one scan.

Not sure how NHS treats you if mix private and nhs testing, but at 34 am trying to stay positive and keep ttc#1 and check out physical issues with me - dh sperm is ok, well just below normal. No time at all for SA test and scan to come through - wait is in seeing consultant, 3mths between.

boba82 · 22/04/2010 17:07

Best of luck to you keziah.

Angel Last 2 mornings I've has spotting but not come to anything, FX for tomorrow. A good cry never did anyone any harm, let it all out, preferably with a large bar of Dairy Milk!!

That's not so good nanny, keep positive.

Congrats on the peaks, vnewmummy and cyncan. Nanny, hope you get a high or peak soon. I had no highs last cycle and suddenly got an early peak on CD15.

Awww angel, your hormones are going haywire but that's a good sign. All the best.

Fingers crossed that the NHS hurry things along for you Keziah. Boba, sounds like it won't be long and then you'll be on highs and peaks and trying again.

Thanks, Vikks and Boba* for the advice. I had my five day bloods yesterday and checked with GP and you're right day 20 or 22 bloods are fine. So one day either way.

vnewmummy · 23/04/2010 08:28

Thanks everyone for you good luck wishes.I think I may need them...

I am in a bad mood this morning. It was my 2nd peak day yesterday and my DH was not up to b'ding for the 3rd day in a row. He said once I tell him he feels like a robot and gets stressed out. Tough, as even if I didnt tell him he would know when its a peak day as I would by up for it days in a row!

So I had a bit of a go at him this morning telling him its not romantic but you know what if you want a baby sometimes you have to just go with the flow and do what it takes. Rant over. Do you think there is still a chance if we b'ding on last day high and first peak? Anyone else having this with DP/DH?

Is it still worth b'ding tonight - 1st high after peak?

Lots of hugs to everyone x

Angelgirl79 · 23/04/2010 09:10

Morning vnewmummy, I think there is still a chance with bding on last high and first peak - we only managed it on first peak last month. I worked out i conceived on 26 which was 1st high after peak so definatly think its worth it tonight.

Lots of luck and fingers crossed x

Thanks Lychees and Boba - hormones in overdrive at moment x

JustShaggy · 23/04/2010 15:24

Just popped in to update my stats and am so very sorry to hear your news Monkey. x

Lychees · 23/04/2010 22:03

Hi Shaggy, sorry AF got you.

vnewmummy, we always bd on the high after the peak just in case. Apparently, it can take up to 72 hours from the first appearance of LH before you actually ovulate so it still counts. I think both DH and I sometimes feel that we just bd for a baby so we've made an effort to impulse bd for the fun of it regardless. Good luck!
