Let's hope this one brings us all lots of luck!

Harry, so sorry about what has happened. Thinking of you and sending hugs and good wishes.

vnewmummy · 30/03/2010 07:13

Harry, sorry to hear your sad news. x

Keziahhopes,Hi, yes I am going private as I am too old for NHS support plus I already have a DD so had no option. To be honest I am glad we did go private because within 1 month we had all tests done and found out where we are. So money well spent. x

Harry2007 · 30/03/2010 08:35

Thanks everyone, it really does mean a lot to know that you're all thinking of me. It's a really tough situation because very few people knew that I was pregnant so I do feel quite lonely. I've cried all night, just couldn't stop. I've never felt like this before.

WantBaby · 30/03/2010 08:41

I used the digital CBFM this month. Am now on day 19 of my cycle and still no postive result. Might it be that I don't ovulate every cycle?

WantBaby · 30/03/2010 08:50

What do you all mean by 'high' and 'peak'? As far as I can tell the test only tells you when you get a LH surge- is that the peak that you refer to? What about the 'high'??

Angelgirl79 · 30/03/2010 09:09

Harry so so sorry to read your post - Take good care of yourself and allow yourself time - thinking of you x

vnewmummy · 30/03/2010 10:07

WantBaby - do you have single use fertility monitor(lasts a month)? Or do you have monitor machine that you only buy sticks for and can use machine over and over again?

BabyHoping · 30/03/2010 10:26

Hi everyone,
I´ve been away for the last days as we decided to take the easter week and come home and acess to internet is more restricted.
Anyway, I just saw the comments from last days and Harry I´m so sorry for you news... I hope you get better soon and your doctor lets you try again right away.

I´m on my waiting period, got 2 highs, 2 peaks, another high and now back to low. As promised, i was BDing everyday (even before the highs...) but on the 2 peak days we were just laughing about it cause everyday is really tiring and we had to make an effort as DH was already starting to feel a bit the pressure. But verything was ok, and even if the sperm count is lower when you do it everyday, I really feel more confident... and that´s how I got pregnant the second time although I ended up having an m/c...

Regarding all the delayed ovulations, I have quite irregular cycles and I´ve had ovulations only happening on day 28 and they still appeared. Also, if some of you remember, my last cycle I did not even had highs, went straight to peak (my estrogen levels were low on that time cause I do not remember seeing EW) and also on the first cycle with the monitor, when it was learning my cycle, I had something like 13 days of high and ovulation still come, so I guess cycles are different and we´ve just have to keep on testing and with positive thinking. I do know how hard is it to wait and i complain lots of times to myself for not being regular and with small lenght cycles... The trueth is that if you have longer cycles you have less chances of conceiving per year...

Baby dust to everyone!

Pamsie · 30/03/2010 12:08

Hello everyone,

I am a newbie and I hope you don't mind me jumping onto this thread.
I am 32 and we've been TTC#1 since May last year and we've decided this month to try the CBFM. I'm on day 18 and I've had 7 Highs and I'm on day 2 Peak. I understand that it is quite normal to have many Highs on your first cycle.

So far, it has been relatively easy to use the machine and I hope that it is a worthwhile investment in the end.

I'm only just starting to read this whole thread and I hope to be able to join in properly to the discussions soon.

BabyHoping · 30/03/2010 12:13

Welcome Pasie!
When was your fist peak day? I´ve had my peaks last weekend and I´m now on my 2 weeks waiting.

BabyHoping · 30/03/2010 12:30

vnewmummy From what I´ve beed reading the most important days to BD are the last high day and the first peak day cause having the sperm already waiting for the egg increases chances of pregnancy. From what you say, I think you have your bases quite well covered so do not worry about missing the second peak day.

We ovulated very close (my peaks were over the weekend)let´s see how this month goes and if we get any symptoms in the following days.

WantBaby · 30/03/2010 13:01

Vnewmummy - I've got the single use fertility monitor

Nanny01 · 30/03/2010 14:44

Oh harry so sorry to hear such bad news.

vnewmummy · 30/03/2010 14:50

WantBaby - we all have a differnt monitor hun. We have the machine that builds up personal profile over a few months. Thats why we talk about low, high and peak. I think your test machine will only show 2 days around ovulation.

BabyHoping thanks for making me feel better, FC for all of us. I am so impatient so it will feel like forever. It too early I know but I feel no different at all. In past I got spots and boobs started to hurt a bit. I am trying to be positive but just got a feeling we wont have any luck this month. xx

Angelgirl79 · 30/03/2010 14:51

My peak days were last Wed and Thursday. How early and what sort of symptoms should I look for? I know the two week wait but its driving me insane. Every little thing Im reading into as a symptom of pregnancy but I know my mind is probably just playing tricks with me - Any one else in the same boat? x

Angelgirl79 · 30/03/2010 14:54

Hi vnewmummy -i think i am willing symptoms!! I keep trying to think positive thoughts tho xx

BabyHoping · 30/03/2010 15:14

Angelgirl79 I know its too early too look for symptoms but sometimes you can have some even before being able to test. From other pregnancies I had pain like AF was coming, pain while driving in car from vibration and sore breats, all symptoms taht you also have when you are not pregnant and AF is coming, but if they appear earlier than normal might be a sign... Also I remember getting really tired already.
I have the same feeling as you and these 2 weeks are hard, I´m trying too relax and do things to distract myself from the subject, also I have cheap high sensitive pregnancy tests and will probably test first time 10 days after ovulation, when it might already give a result...

BabyHoping · 30/03/2010 15:17

I have a question, is anyone taking babyaspirin? My doctor prescribed it to me and told me to take it and only stop it while having AF and I was wondering if this might interfere with implantation... I have read a lot of stuff over the internet and in some places they say it might actuallly increase you chances of conceiving as it improves blood flow to utherus and ovaries but on the other side, aspirin is known for making you bleed longer...

boba82 · 30/03/2010 15:34

Oooh not heard of that babyhoping, I'm willing to try anything so may start myself.

I'm still on HIGH but with everyone's comments I'm still holding out for my PEAK

Good luck to all those on the TWW, I'll keep FX for all of us!!

Angelgirl79 · 30/03/2010 15:50

Hi babyhoping - which day do you count as day one when counting days after ov. Do you count from first peak day, second peak day or the day after the second peak day? I'm hopeless and willing the days to pass so I can test!

Good luck to everyone on TWW and fingers crossed boba82 for your PEAK

p.s I am feeling very stuffy nosed and slight sore throat which has been lingering since sat/sun- has anyone heard of that as an early symptom before?? xx

Welcome pamsie I have added you to stats list. Can you just confirm what cycle you are on and your UCL. Ta.

boba82 · 30/03/2010 16:09

Thanks Angelgirl I hope it works!

I have read on other forums that people have had cold as first symptoms but I don't know how much of that is coincedence? It seems a bit strange? Any other symptoms? When are you going to start POAS?

Angelgirl79 · 30/03/2010 16:10

Hi Boba82 I am ttc 1 for the stats

boba82 · 30/03/2010 16:10

I have a similar question to babyhoping. Has anyone had any luck with Agnus Cactus? I have been taking for approx 6 months but not during TWW in the hope it improves fertility.
