Oh whiteroses I meant to say what a horror your midwife is! I can't believe how callous she was about possible m/c and scans! Here's hoping your next one is better.. Would you run the risk of having the nasty one at the birth - do they alternate shifts, or can you choose your own?

Report
WhiteRoses · 21/01/2010 19:59

Worrisome - sorry - cross posted!

So is your twin pregnant? Surely she'd have told you before posting on Facebook?

Thankfully no chance of meeting the bitch again... Am going to have consultant-led care so will be at a hospital that she doesn't work at.

Pidgin - symptom spotting is so frustrating isn't it - I'm sure I am picking up on so many things that were always there i just didn't notice before!

whiteroses - wow can't believe how rude your midwife was - you'd think communication skills would be a basic requirement?!

I'm on day 31 now and having a few cramps so think AF is on her way although I still feel occasionally queasy and v.sore boobs. Wish she would just hurry up now so I can get started on cycle 4!

Report
WorrisomeHeart · 21/01/2010 20:15

whiteroses I think I'm probably just jumping to conclusions on a mega-scale.. and she didn't say she was pg, just a kind of cryptic message you know? It is almost that I can imagine posting something similar if I suspected I was going to get a bfp... insane I know! I think the term 'crazy baby lady' definitely applies to me tonight!

Great about avoiding the mw!

I hope whiteroses is ok too, if you're reading this hun, please let us know you're ok!!

yorkshire Hope your DH doesn't feel like that for too long, maybe the dr just said it was slightly under and it was taken as really bad? Keeping fingers crossed for him!
Fudge sorry to hear about AF

drew : PMSL at your take on EWCM!

Well, my temp went up this morning so hopefully last nights BD was a successful one

mumnerves · 21/01/2010 22:09

oops, just saw that whiteroses is ok, must have thought I was at the end of the thread

Glad you're ok, sorry to hear your midwife was so awful! But at least you got to see another one!

Report
bunnygirl80 · 21/01/2010 23:57

I feel very uncaring at the moment as hadn't even noticed whiteroses had gone missing! Glad you're ok though. Sorry your midwife was so horrible. It really annoys me when healthcare professionals are like that - I surely can't be the only person the NHS made sit through hours and hours of communication skills courses telling me to talk to my patients and not about them!

Addie I think others have already said this but if your temp hasn't gone up then keep bding. You could ov late, or your temp can rise really slowly. Last cycle, I had all my usualy ov signs around cd19, but no temp shift, then another ton of ewcm on cd23 and a slow temp rise over around 4 days after that. Seems like my body tried to ov then changed it's mind and then actually managed it a few days later.

AF seems to have gone away so time to get going with pre-season friendlies Hopefully I won't ov quite so late this month - it's tiring keeping going with bd every other day for so long. DH doesn't seem to mind though

I'm using yet another theory to get me a BFP. As everyone knows it's mumsnet folklore that if you start a thread in conception you will have a BFP by the time it's full.

It worked for pixie this time so as this threads nearly full I'm putting the theory to the test. So here's the link to the shiney
new thread

WhiteRoses · 22/01/2010 10:46

ceebs - you're on lucky Cycle 3 so fingers crossed!

So what exactly WAS the message Worrisome?! I'm intrigued!

mumnerves - lol! I'm sorry! Never thought I'd cause all that trouble!

Great to hear you think the timing was good this month. Now the dreaded 2WW...

Bunny - I was only missing for an hour or two so wouldn't worry about it!

I didn't realise you worked for the NHS... Am I allowed to ask what you do?

Lol! Loving all your theories! Off to check out the new thread!

Hey everyone, long time no chat. Will read trough all the missed posts as soon as I can, it's been a bit of a nightmare here recently. (That's an serious understatement)

So we haven't been actively trying this month, no time, energy, or a home to do it in! Hopefully back to normal as soon as this cycle finishes, and on that note, anyone want to take bets on the length of this one? Last month was 36 days, the month before was 19, tomorrow is day 28, what are my chances? lol

Aargh!! Please can someone tell me I am not going mad??!!! I am on day 26 of a normal 28 day cycle, have had spotting for the last couple of days (same as last month) have felt that any time soon AF is going to show but has not reared her ugly head yet. I have got sore boobs (have not had that for years!!) and they are getting rather large, DH is loving this! I put this down to gaining some weight as I have stopped the silly amount of work and exercise I was doing.

I was silly enough to do a FR test day before yesterday and of course it was a bfn, but since then I have got choked at the slightest thing! Have I got really bad pmt or could it be something better? Really not sure what to think as don't want to get hopes up! Sorry for the rant x

LOL at Bunnys take on thread starting!! If it guarantees a BFP there will be blood and tears when it comes to beginning the one after her new one! Fight!
