Morning Calyx, we've just got in from our gig tonight, lots more snow here but DH was driving and he got us home safely. I've experienced EWCM as early as CD9 before, this month I got it around CD13, I think some people will ovulate at different times each month and others will ovulate at the same time each month, with this also varying from time to time - not great if you are trying to plan your trying by dates but I would probably go by the EWCM and jump your DH as soon as you see him

Funny isn't it, talking about something so personal with a complete stranger not that any of you feel like strangers IYKWIM

mrscinco · 19/12/2009 08:06

Morning all

Thanks for your lovely welcomes - glad I joined in now!

Yorkshire - yes will def mean ok to drink , however this year i'll be at a party with lots of pregnant women talking pregnancy and babies - well if the last few months are anything to go by!! So if hasn't worked will be outside with the blokes having some crafty fags and being the obvious barren woman. That makes me sound terrible - don't get me wrong i'm so chuffed for my friends, just peed off it's not happened to me yet.

Caylx - aren't our bodies great, just when we think we've got them sussed they go and do something different! I'm sure you're probably just at the start of your fertile time and will have plenty of time to grab your DH. I ovulate at different times, no idea why but trying our best to time things right. Realised I am completely obsessed when I pretty much made my DH ..ahem... DTD (don't like BD, sounds a bit strange ) the other day - he was off work sick and I felt full of cold too, can't say it was the most romantic we've ever been . Claire you're right never thought I'd be sharing this kind of info with anyone other than maybe a Dr

Good luck to anyone testing - December will be lucky as it's obvious what we've asked santa for

mrscinco · 19/12/2009 08:07

Yay - smileys worked

CJ2007 · 19/12/2009 09:39

Just a quick update from me. It's official my body is doing it's own thing and I'm completely out of control. I'm now on cd5 as the witch af arrived way early so my lp was only a few days
I've started taking b6 along with my other supplements in the vain hope it will make a difference. I'm also seriously thinking bout getting clearblue monitor as I feel me and dh are wasting valuable time whilst I try to figure my body out.
At the moment this ttc lark is soul destroying so im trying to get some control over it all!!!

Apologies for the selfish post but I can tell you all things I can't tell dh as it would devastate him

big welcome to mrs, I'm not usually like this
hoping those approaching testing get the best Christmas pressie ever !!!! X

claireinthecommunity · 19/12/2009 16:38

Just a flying visit from me, very quiet on the thread, everyone must be Christmas shopping or enjoying the snow

Sorry to hear about your AF CJ and that you are having a tough time, no advice really, just vent when you want - no need to apologize

Well done with the smileys mrscinco

I'm still a bit crampy and am mildly nauseas now and then with one sore boob , thing is it does sound promising but I've had them all before followed by AF...

aly323 · 19/12/2009 20:07

CJ, sorry to hear about your early af. The B6 might be a good idea. I just had my first cycle using a B100 complex and my lp was a day longer this cycle. Hopefully it'll get another day or two this month. I haven't noticed any side effects. I would love to get the monitor, too. It's just so expensive...

Welcome to Mrs- Everyone here is completely obsessed, you'll fit right in!

Calyx, I hope you and DH had a nice night. And, I hope it was perfect timing.

Please keep us updated on your boob, Claire! Are you testing soon?

Thanks you for checking in Pepperoni. I'm so happy to hear that both you and Spirael are doing so well!! I can't wait to have a tiny bump, too!

I'm a few days in and have done 3 days with soy. I'm excited to see if it brings O forward. I feel like a science experiment, but I'm kind of enjoying it. I just tried to go on a run, but lost interest pretty soon into it. I'm am so lazy today. It's sunny and almost hot and I don't feel like doing anything. My poor house needs some cleaning and I just don't want to do it. Blah.

By the way, I'm loving the emoticons!!

Kaloki · 19/12/2009 21:21

I seem to be showing signs of pregnancy, so next week will be the deciding week. I'm due around this weekend, so please keep your fingers crossed for me. If I am pregant I'll be finding out around Xmas day.

Hope everyone else is doing well!!

claireinthecommunity · 20/12/2009 02:14

Hey Aly, boob is still sore, maybe even slightly more so Really trying not to get too carried away with what might be but, it's sooo difficult not to get caught up in the excitement, especially at this time of year. I keep swaying about when to test - do I splash out and get a First Response and test slightly early (by a couple of days) on either Christmas Eve/Day, or, do I wait and test after Christmas on the 28th/29th when AF would be late (if she hasn't already shown up)? I can't make up my mind!

Kaloki I do have all fingers crossed for you What symptoms are you getting? - would love to know if they are similar to mine.

YorkshireTeaDrinker · 20/12/2009 08:57

Sounds promising Kaloki - what symptoms have you got?

Clare, its a tricky one. If you are pregnant, an early test on Christmas day could be the best christmas pressie ever, alternatively, you might get a BFN and put a downer on the whole day. The sensible thing to do would be to wait until after Christmas when AF is due. But its Christmas, who wants to be sensible...

claireinthecommunity · 20/12/2009 10:41

Yorkshire, I am leaning towards testing Christmas morning if I don't feel any pre AF symptoms before then. I also don't think a BFN will be a downer for me, I'm usually pretty philosophical and a BFP on Christmas morning, well, that would just be amazing We'll wait and see what happens the rest of the week and I'll buy some tests in readiness

How are you doing? I've lost track of where you are in the list

Hobnob76 · 20/12/2009 11:07

Hello!

I'm very new to all this, straight from the waiting to conceive thread! please can I join in ?

TTC#1 cycle 2 UCL 31 CD2

We started TTC last month, but I knew we'd missed my fertile time as DH was ill. Had 2 days of spotting before my period arrived, que 3 BFN's,and my period arrived last night, finally!

Been off the pill for 7 months now and I've kept track of UCL's and CM etc. I don't chart, temp or use OPK's, am I strange ? I do check CM, so have an idea of when I OV.

Kaloki · 20/12/2009 11:41

"Sounds promising Kaloki - what symptoms have you got?"

Sore boobs and metallic taste in my mouth. There was something else but I've forgotten it for now.

claireinthecommunity · 20/12/2009 12:01

Welcome Hobnob , I was on the waiting to TTC thread too for a while, nice to have you with us. I've added you to the list - good luck

That does sound promising Kaloki, good luck to you too

I don't either, so no, you're not strange

claireinthecommunity · 20/12/2009 13:02

No, me neither Hobnob and Kaloki but I am strange

Hobnob76 · 20/12/2009 17:08

Thanks for the welcome lovely ladies! So nice to know that there are others out there that aren't obsessed with that stuff too!

claireinthecommunity · 20/12/2009 17:23

I'm always interested to hear how others get on with the temping and charting though, it's just for me, I feel it would lead to an obsession and I'm really trying to stay laid back about the whole TTC thing - Horses for courses

claireinthecommunity · 20/12/2009 17:26

In fact, so laid back that I've already posted five times on the thread today, this being my sixth

Kaloki · 20/12/2009 18:38

"I feel it would lead to an obsession and I'm really trying to stay laid back about the whole TTC thing"

Me too!

CurlyCasper · 20/12/2009 18:49

evening ladies. liking the sound of things for you kaloki!

hobnob are you the same hobnob I was chatting with while WTT? (here and on B&B?). Whether you are or not I wish you the best of luck! I've graduated but like to pop back and see the lovely ladies on this thread.

Hope you are all well! claire sing one for me!

Eleanora · 20/12/2009 19:02

Evening all,

What a beautiful snowy day! Am really getting into the Christmas spirit now. Hobnob we have just started TTC this month and are taking the same approach as you ie checking CM but not doing any temping/ charting etc.

Claire and Kaloki - it sounds like you both have potentially promising symptoms. I had some very light spotting on days 20 and 21 which has now disappeared (definitely wasn't AF). Also since that time I have felt a sort of poking feeling in one particular place in my lower abdomen on one side. Does this sound like implantation? Or am I clutching at straws!

CurlyCasper · 20/12/2009 19:04

oops claire I'd missed out on your promising symptoms! Good luck

Calyx · 20/12/2009 19:19

SOB!!! I just sat 20 minutes and typed a huge long post and just as I pressed 'preview post' it CRASHED and now it's GONE

Sighhhhhhhh humphhhhh grrrrrr.

Calyx · 20/12/2009 19:22

I'll just say 'hello everyone' and welcome to Hobnob

Managed to jump DH in the morning and again this morning, will maybe wake him up before I go to work tomorrow too. I really want this to be the month.

I've got to go now but I'll check in this week and catch up properly. I had a lovely long post with bits to most of you and I really can't sit and type it all again. Sorry! I hate when that happens!

claireinthecommunity · 20/12/2009 19:36

Thanks Curly Yeah we are v busy with the music at this time of year, as you would imagine. I'll think of you (and all of us) when we do Baby Love by Diana Ross and The Supremes

Eleanora, I too had the poking in my lower abdomen, mine was on the left hand side. I'm really hoping mine was implantation and yours too

Calyx, that's happened to me before now, so frustrating. Good luck for the morning
