call me frogs if you like

givecarrotsachance · 10/11/2009 16:04

gin et al. I completely understand and you're all right... To clarify, I didn't mean updated every fucking day or hour but just a starting point so I knew who was where BUT perfectly happy to not have them. Sorry if I breached a rule

CUNextTuesday · 10/11/2009 16:05

camel I feel like shite and it has to be very specific stuff that I eat, i.e. not at all stodgy, or else I feel rotten for the rest of the day.

Have lost half a stone since being pregnant cos can barely eat owt despite being ravenous. Not puking though, which is ace

Scorpette · 10/11/2009 16:58

SEE? Another great reason to get updiffed! I intend to lose loadsa weight in the early months through nausea (my mum did, but with no puking) then lose whatever flobber remains with breastfeeding. Until she/he is 46, if necessary.

Sorry, Cunty, I know it's not actually amusing or groovy when you're the one experiencing it.

I'm scared of lists. I'm an arithmetard.

Camel, I heart you. You say what I think, but concisely

See? I was fairly concise too! Huzzah!

CUNextTuesday · 10/11/2009 17:09

It's alright, I'm not at death's door or owt . I think the word 'ropey' sums it up nicely. And I can only drink water so my skin looks radiant!

OP posts:
idealcamel · 10/11/2009 17:28

Why, Cunty, you're glowing...

I heart you too, scorples. You say what I think only with more style and less swearing.

ginhag · 10/11/2009 17:36

I've just realised I am going to be stupidly, ridiculously upset if not diffed this cycle.

And all the nausea and funny smells meant I decided to POAS at FSDPO and even tho I spent a very long time convincing myself there was a very very faint line, there wasn't really.

I just don't know how much longer I can do this shit.

VeryAngryGusset · 10/11/2009 17:37

cunty were you the one who pledged not to try again this year in order to fit in with the school year? are you Living Proof that I-stopped-trying-and-it-happened isn't just a Woman's Own fable?

ginhag · 10/11/2009 17:37

Or something a bit more positive.

CurlyCasper · 10/11/2009 17:50

iggs i was very tempted! on train home
now.
please no palace lists. i am on lists elsewhere but this is sanctuary! train + Pda = crap posts. wobble wobble

ginhag · 10/11/2009 17:57

Sorry VAG that commented was directed at myself, not you!

I've grow to hate the last week of the 2WOOFL. Just don't seem to be able to stop thinking about it. Arse arse arse.

I've also realised that this for me is the bastard of the EDD. It was ok at the time but I think I was convincing myself that I had just got diffed a matter of days before, and thus all would be fine. friggy think you avoiding SWI this month was a smart move...tho you don't seem to have escaped the lunacy entirely!

mani n mr gin both have streaming colds which means a) I haven't slept for days and b) I've just come down with it so am prolly just all mopey and maudlin cos tired and a bit poorly.

VeryAngryGusset · 10/11/2009 17:58

we should have a list of the people who like lists and the people who don't

ditto gin

and biscuits

I am so bored. Can I have a go on Dr Cox now? Puhlease tell me someone packed him?

idealcamel · 10/11/2009 18:01

Gin! Have this lovely and v v strong absinthe cocktail. Drink. Breathe. Is that slightly better?

Lovie, is horrible. This stage of cycle sends you utterly bonkers. But you may well be updiffed - you peed too early - and if you're not, you'll work out how to deal. 'member you're sleep-deprived and stressed as well as really wanting a baby and that'll make everything seem blacker at the moment.

VeryAngryGusset · 10/11/2009 18:04

Ginster - I assumed it was! Have a biscuit anyway! In fact, here's the tin for self-flagelation

what's an EDD?

idealcamel · 10/11/2009 18:05

Vag, someone let Mitchell & Brooker escape. There's no way they remembered Dr Cox. Feckless wenches.

ginhag · 10/11/2009 18:06

sorry, I just got snot on your shoulder. Thanks for being lovely, and for not saying I'm being a twat (which I know I am) as I would prob burst into tears. Ggggr stupid self.

ginhag · 10/11/2009 18:09

Estimated Due Date VAG. my non-babber was due last week, friggy's today.

Ta for the biscuits mmm they go well with absinthe!

I remembered Fight Club Brad. And George. And the fucking bar which is very important (and currently staffed by bill bailey)

do I have to do everything round here????

VeryAngryGusset · 10/11/2009 18:19

Oh gin - crap - sorry about that. Bollocks-crap-shite etc to Piggy too. Ladies, this calls for a litre of gin. Each. All round! Bill - line them up! Hold the tonic.

I cannot believe no one packed Dr Cox. You lot are rubbish. Has Scorpy at least retained the Desparate Romantic boys? Brad doesn't do it for me and George is strictly for Pit-Of-Angst dwellers (for once I'm not down there).

It isn't fair! I want a toy!

CUNextTuesday · 10/11/2009 18:23

VAG yes, I am she. I can't say I was ever SWI, just SWoDCA (without due care and attention). Also, in truth, I thought if I was blase enough to say 'oh hang it, I'll wait till Dec before trying to conceive', the last of my eggs would surely run out in November. I'm no gambler, hence this speck (if indeed it is a speck and not a mc waiting to happen) will be due on July 3rd, my very good friend's birthday. And at the arse end of the school year

OP posts:
ginhag · 10/11/2009 18:24

VAG (puts on best voice-over voice)

this is not just Brad.... This is Fight Club Brad !!!

's alright, I'll hang on to him

shall we have a race with the gin chaps? Down the hatch!!!

VeryAngryGusset · 10/11/2009 18:26

Chin-chin!

Same again? Keep 'em coming, Bill, there's a love.

VeryAngryGusset · 10/11/2009 18:29

ps Cnut - thought so - heh. As a September baby I had to invite last-year's schoolfriends to birthdays and inevitably fell out with them/stopped being friends due to reshuffling of classes etc a few weeks later - at least a July speck would know some people in their class by then. Also, outdoor parties are less messy.

ginhag · 10/11/2009 18:29

cunty at the risk of sounding like a tit,I was late in the school year (towards end July) and was actually very good at most stuff at school, did well at uni despite being utter stoner, and (ok more by chance than intent) have actually forged quite a successful career.

Sister, born feb,ace and talented person...but none of the above.

So you never know really.

ginhag · 10/11/2009 18:35

Ooo ALSO cunty big smooches for buying our cards. I still get all gleeful that you liked them lots before you knew owt about me.

CUNextTuesday · 10/11/2009 18:38

Ideally, you see, I'd like specky to be naturally gifted comme ca. However, the educational-ability genes that have been donated from the male side of the relationship are sub-prime. I foresee many evenings of battles over homework ahead...
