Thought as there was 955 messages on our old thread that we should have a new one again, its very annoying scrolling down to the bottom.

{grin}

Welcome to our new thread girls.

Should we put our stats again???
saves us thread hopping, and we have had newbies.
I will try and copy some from the old thread.

Same here Twiga, have looked and posted! x
Diddle - Where you been hun?

Diddle · 16/06/2005 12:56

lottielou - i though you might be a bit down about it, understandably of course. we're here for you though, and fingers crossed you will get you're BFP soon, everyone is different and it may take a while for your BFP to show.
So sorry to hear about your dad, must be heartbreaking to have watched him go through it, my friends dad has just been diagnosed with it and is wating for test results to see how bad it is. I saw him yesterday and i just didn't know what to say.

Not sure where today has gone, can't believe its lunchtime already, i've been up since 6.30. Remembered yesterday that its fathers day sunday so will be frantically making cards with the kids for the next 2 days.

OP posts:
Diddle · 16/06/2005 12:56

lottie - been to merryhill for cake and coffee and to get my dad a pressie and card for fathers day, and couldn't resist going into Early Learning and buying some toys. Little one i had with me loves them.

Oh LunarSea, Doctors, sometimes I wonder why they bother turning up for work? Are you still bleeding after your MC?-I'm on day 18 of bleeding so looking for hope that it won't carry on forever (don't mind if it turns into a proper period). Have an early night if you can and try to escape from work this afternoon. {{{HUGS}}}

On a different subject, why have I never noticed this CM that you all talk about-I must be walking round with my eyes shut. Perhaps that's why I never know when I am most fertile-I only have the dates from the internet based on my LMP. Oh to be so naive.

Cup of tea time me thinks
x

Diddle · 16/06/2005 13:07

I agree Lunarsea, go and out your feet up, you should be resting.
Humprheys - are you bleeding quite heavily or lightly? i bled for 15 days but it was only light, and i guess it might depend on how far gone you were, more to lose the later on you are.

OP posts:
HumphreysCorner · 16/06/2005 13:21

Diddle-just like a normal period on day 2 with a few clots thrown in-I suppose it will keep going until the 3cm clot comes out. The nurse did say that if I have any offensive discharge (sounds like it will jump out and be rude to me ha-ha) then I will have to ask the Dr for some antibiotics.

x

Diddle · 16/06/2005 13:25

HC - pmsl @ offensive discharge, they do make it sound so funny. Hope you don't have any.

OP posts:
LunarSea · 16/06/2005 14:24

HC - no, I only bled for about 10 days, and tbh after that first couple of days it was actually very light. BUT I don't think I had any blood left to lose by then! m/c was very sudden - from no warning at all to passing clots the size of a fist in a couple of minutes. And more clots like that every 15 mins of so for the next 12 hours until they decided that they had to stop me bleeding so much as the blood loss was too high (and my bp too low and still dropping) to let it continue safely, and did the emergency op to stop it and ERPC at the same time, with transfusions to follow. Sorry - probably tmi.

m/c plus 25 days now, so just waiting for af to put in an appearance. Though it does sort of cross my mind that last 2 pg's (can't really remember with the first one) I've had a day of feeling really grotty (much like today), which is unusual for me as I'm usually disgustingly healthy, about 10 DPO - so who knows.... Probably just wishful thinking though.

Actually I feel a bit better now - had a minor technical crisis to deal with (if there is such a thing as a minor crisis - well it was a fairly quickly fixed crisis anyway) which forced me to have to look at the screen and concentrate, and that seems to have helped a bit.

Trix1 · 16/06/2005 14:39

Hi everyone - hae been having a read of this thread and it seems to be the one for my.

My history

age 32
dh 34
ds 3.5
ttc 2 months then m/c in Oct 03 at 6 weeks started to bleed
ttc 8 months then missed m/c on 30/12/04 14.5 weeks beanie died at 10 weeks approx

Am currently on cd19 I think i ovulated on cd14 so that makes me 5dpo I think

I have never done temping only used ov sticks and lots of bding around day 14 but its now been six months and I am desperate for a BFP

Diddle · 16/06/2005 14:50

trix - i'm using the same methids of you, plenty of bd and tried ov tests last month, but to be honest once i knew i was past ov i gave up on the bd, which may have been our downfall, so this month i'm not using any tests and just bd as much as possible all the time, then testing when af is due.
welcome to our mad thread.

Trix1 · 16/06/2005 14:56

im going for a viability scan tomorrow which im dreading

Tabs · 16/06/2005 15:36

Hi Spacecadet - how far along are you now? I thought that they couldn't pick up a heartbeat properly until about 7 weeks, or is that not what they're checking for?

Try not to dread it - could be something to look forward to if it brings good news .

Diddle · 16/06/2005 16:05

spacecadet - best of luck for the scan, stay positive, it will be fine. how far along are you now?

OP posts:

Spacecadet-lots of luck for tomorrow hun-you won't need it as I'm sure everything will be fine

HumphreysCorner · 16/06/2005 16:10

DOH! LunarSea

maddyd · 16/06/2005 16:17

Can anyone help me with my TMI question earlier at 10.58. Ive taken my temp and it hasnt risen at all. Think ill just shag myself senseless this month anyway

Tabs · 16/06/2005 16:23

Maddy - watery CM is good. You temp won't rise until after ov. Didn't you say that you were off to take your temp during the day earlier? If you're temping you absolutely have to take it first thing in the morning before you get out of bed, otherwise it won't tell you anything useful at all. Have I got hold of the wrong end of the stick?

Think you'll find it more useful to shag your DH than yourself if you're hoping to make a baby .

Diddle · 16/06/2005 16:24

maddyd - i replied yes watery cm means you're more fertile than normal and is normally what you have before ov, when you are ov it may become ewcm. Get at it girl, you're wastng precious time. go grab you're DH

OP posts:
maddyd · 16/06/2005 16:39
