Thought as there was 955 messages on our old thread that we should have a new one again, its very annoying scrolling down to the bottom.

{grin}

Welcome to our new thread girls.

Should we put our stats again???
saves us thread hopping, and we have had newbies.
I will try and copy some from the old thread.

I still haven't had any signs of AF, no pains, no sore boobs, just a sicky feeling. I keep going to the loo to see if i have came on. Am thinking my body is playing tricks on me!

Lottielou · 15/06/2005 16:16

HK, i'm not too bad tho, just wishing my body would let me know one way or the other. Was due on on Sunday and as yet no signs, did a PG test on Monday and got a BFN, will be testing again in the morning ans see where i go from there. Probably in a heap on the bathroom floor from getting another BFN!

I'm here girls

Well, went for my scan and unfortunately there is still a 3cm clot in there so have another rescan in 2 weeks. Luckily I don't need a D&C or tablets at the moment or antibiotics. Feel a bit flat as I had hoped that today would have been the end of it.

Last time my bladder was so full I was literally 1 minute from leakout so this time I took a bottle of water and drank it while I waited and the sonographer could see fine. I won't suffer next time either as I struggle to hold my bladder at the best of times (old age creeping in).

Well, I'd better give my stats again.

Me 35 (36 in Oct so well past it)
DH 35 (last week)
DD 23 months
MC 30th May 2005 was 12 weeks-baby died at 6 weeks

Like the new thread-very positive! Sometimes when I click on add a message it jumps straight to the add a message box and other times I have to scroll down and as my stupid computer is so slow it takes forever.

My mum has come up with the idea that maybe I can't carry boys??? I have not heard of this one before but I did do the swing a wedding ring on a bit of string bit and it did swing in a straight line before I miscarried which indicates a boy. Did it with DD and it went in a circle which means a girl. So, very strange.

Ah, DH has just pulled in the drive so I'd better leave you all for the mo.

Love and hugs to all
xxx

humphreys - glad you're back with us, sorry your news wasn't any better, 2 weeks seems like a long time to leave you again, you'd think they would be worried about infection etc. look after yourself.
My browser is slow sometimes and i have to do it manually too. But i do have a button on my laptop that says end and it takes you to the bottom of the page, which is very useful. At least now we've got a new thread, that you wont have to scroll too far.

Never tried the wedding ring/string thing, of heard of it. will try it next time.

Diddle · 15/06/2005 19:34

humprheys - you're nowhere near old yet, just older! you're 11 years older than me makes me feel very young.

OP posts:
HumphreysCorner · 15/06/2005 21:21

Lol Diddle

Is there anybody out there as old as me??????? Feeling ancient now! Not really-as long as I can have at least another 2 children before I'm 40 then I'll be happy Infact, I'll be happy if I can have another baby. Was hoping to be PG by August but not looking likely at this rate-August 2006 more like.

Feeling very tired so might go to bed and try and stay awake for Celeb Love Island. Dentist tomorrow-yuk.

See Y'all
x

LunarSea · 15/06/2005 21:48

Perhaps it's time I joined you - if for no other reason than to make HC feel better at not being the oldest!

Stats:
me 39
dh 41
ttc. #2
living in - Warwickshire
occupation - full time IT consultant (covers a multitude of sins!) + part time ski instructor
history:
ttc 18 months - m/c at 6 weeks
ttc 30 months - ds now 3 3/4
ttc 32 months - m/c at 11 weeks 22nd May '05 resulting in being hospitalised due to excessive bleeding/blood loss/vitually non existant blood pressure post m/c

As you can see I'm likely to be around for a while! Am still trying to accept that there might never be a #2 given poor success rate at both ttc and hanging on to them. Unfortunately neither are apparently bad enough individually to get any investigations/intervention done, despite total combined effect of only one baby to show for nearly 7 years (so far) of trying.

Am seeing docs again in the morning and will have another attempt at persuading them to do something other tahna say wait and see.

HumphreysCorner · 15/06/2005 22:11

Ah, joy oh joy. Welcome, welcome, welcome LunarSea!

Your are not that much older than me but have been TTC alot longer for #2 so let's hope your stay isn't a long one. Hoping your visit to the Drs goes OK tomorrow.

I forgot to say about my job when I gave my stats.

Worked in a bank for 18 years then went back after a years maternity leave and couldn't stand the sales targets so resigned and took a 5 year career break. Currently working for them on an auxillary basis i.e. when I feel like it but very poor because only get paid when I can be bothered.

DEFINITELY off to bed now
x

HellKat · 16/06/2005 07:48
