Thought as there was 955 messages on our old thread that we should have a new one again, its very annoying scrolling down to the bottom.

{grin}

Welcome to our new thread girls.

Should we put our stats again???
saves us thread hopping, and we have had newbies.
I will try and copy some from the old thread.

Raining and freezing here!

Best of luck tonight Lottie. Hope the weather improves for you.

strike1 · 15/06/2005 11:17

I'm good thanks

I've been practicing charting my temp, won't be accurate this month cause I started late and had the erpc, but the chart I've got from boots is v confusing. Also I keep forgeting to do it before getting up, so all the readings are all over the place. Did it after having breakfast today and the cold milk from the cereal made the reading say I was dead! or at least not feeling too good! At least it's only practice this month.

HellKat · 15/06/2005 11:20

Awww thankyou very much Minnie

Xena · 15/06/2005 11:22

Lottie what miserable weather for your run, but then again it would be hard in the aking sun we've been having down south.
Hope everyone is OK today

HellKat · 15/06/2005 11:24

Good here thanks Xena. What about you?
Humphreya- Are you back yet? How did it go?

Xena · 15/06/2005 11:25

Xena · 15/06/2005 11:26

21 days to go.

Xena · 15/06/2005 11:27

I'm not counting We agreed DH and I no counting no charting. So don't tell

HellKat · 15/06/2005 11:29

Lottielou · 15/06/2005 12:03

Xena - Thanks for the good luck. I actually like running in the reain, it keeps me cool and refreshed! Good to see you, haven't seen you for a while! I wont tell you counting, hee hee! Something i wud do!

Diddle - Where are you huni?

HK - Hows you today? x

Strike - Glad your good. I would be like that if i started to temp. Will be a laugh tho. Hopefully i wont have to as AF is still not here but think it will come and then i shall have a bash at the temping lark! Ooohhhh exciting stuff!
The way i look at it this month is that if i'm nor PG now then i can have a whole loot afun this month using OPK's( never used them b4) and tempsing ( never done that either) so am actually excited bout doing all that! Obviously if AF wants to stay away then she is more than welcome ( wink wink, nudge nudge AF is your listening)

Rachrog - Where are you hun? Hope you are well? and Spacecadet, hope you are too x x x x x

Lottielou · 15/06/2005 12:27

hey Twiga - Thanks for the baby dust!
Good to see you, you've been hiding!
Where are you at with things now? x

maddyd · 15/06/2005 12:48

Twiga is it you or twiglett that has a friend on here called Popodopalis. I just wondered how she was doing as she was on the ttc thread????

Diddle · 15/06/2005 12:54

Here i am!!!

been to sainsburys with 3 kids, ran out fo bread and i know the kids love going in the double trolley so we went to stock up. got some cakes for lunch too.

Lottie - good luck for your run, hope all goes well. You'll look like a drowned rat by the time its over have a great vision now. not that i know what you look like. We sell Model Display aircraft on ebay, have got our own little shop, its doing very well. We just fancied a good money making scheem and DH likes planes so we thought we'd try it out.
I was considering finding a medical wholesaler and selling PG tests on there, they always sell well.

Xena - won't tell you're secret don't worry.

HK - Jammies sound delightful.

Where is Humphreys, i wonder how she got on.

hello to everyone else.

Twiga · 15/06/2005 13:12

Hey!

LottieLou, I'm now at 29 weeks and started my Mat leave on Sunday, so am a lady of leisure, which is just great work was getting very stressful. Am having a bit of a prob with mild spd, so have an attrractive over the bump tubi-grip thing to wear but am otherwise very well. We're upside down in our house trying to get a heap of decorating done - living room almost complete.

MaddyD - Pops is doing fine, she has been struggling a bit with the whole fertility/clomid thing. I'm sure she won't mind me telling you that she and her Dh were up to the hospital for their first appt last week. Looks like everything is fine with her Dh, so looks like they will be going ahead along the clomid line, they're now waiting for their next appt to get started which is around the start of Oct. She found the trip up to the hospital a lot harder than she expected - being surrounded by bumps waiting for scans wasn't the easiest . On a lighter note I was down in England visiting her the other week and we managed to pull off a suprise 30th party for her Dh which was huge ammounts of fun - he didn't suspect a thing! She is her usual crazy self and I think will be back on mumsnet a bit more once she's had time to mull everything over.

Lol to everyone, x

Tabs · 15/06/2005 13:14

Hello ladies - thought I'd pop onto your new thread too - you just can't keep me away!

For anyone that doesn't know me, stats are:

Age 31
DH 39
ttc #1 since Feb 01
missed m/c Oct 04
Now 6+5 with second pregnancy

Have been doing lots of sleeping the last couple of days - it's my only pregnancy symptom so I'm making the most of it! Starting to get paranoid again about lack of other symptoms, but booked an early scan today for 27th, when I'll be 8+3 (last baby died 8+2 although we didn't find that out for another 4 weeks), so hopefully I'll get some reassurance then.

Just wanted to say that I'm a big fan of charting - been doing it since Oct, so if anyone needs any help with it then let me know, although I highly recommend using fertility friend for all you could ever want to know about it!

lol at Strike taking temp after breakfast today! If you don't do it before you get out of bed then there's just no point doing it at all!

Hellkat - have you had any tests to find the reason for your m/cs? There was a lady on This Morning today who had had 11 of them (!!), and it was basically just because her blood was too thick so couldn't get enough oxygen and stuff to the foetus. All she needed was a test which the programme Dr said costs £5, and that found this out, and then she had to have injections to thin her blood, and now has a 16 week old baby. The silly cow did carry on smoking despite all her m/cs though, which the Dr said would have decreased even further the amount of oxygen that could get to the baby. There's some info about it here if anyone wants a read.

Diddle · 15/06/2005 13:23

thanks Tabs - good to hear you're ok, that link has brought tears to my eyes, al i want is to feel a baby inside me. Its not fair!!!!!

OP posts:
Tabs · 15/06/2005 13:36

I didn't mean to make you sad again Diddle .

We will all get to feel our babies inside us - we just can't know yet when that will be, but you have to have faith that it will happen - as your thread title says - we CAN do it!

strike1 · 15/06/2005 14:11

Chin up diddle, I have a feeling something good will happen on your holiday

As for temping, I just hope I get pregnant before I really have to rely on my results, cause like you say tabs if I keep forgeting and getting up first, there's just no point! Makes me feeling like I'm working towards something though, even if it is just improving my graph skills

Diddle · 15/06/2005 14:19

hilarious thread to cheer you all up or put you off BD forever.

you have to read it, its not often i laugh out loud at my pc but this had me ROFL.

funny labour stories

Tabs · 15/06/2005 15:03

Just taken me 40 mins to read them all!! Some classics there though - very funny .

Lottielou · 15/06/2005 15:32

Hi Tabs - good to hear from you hun.
Diddle - Hows you this afternoon?

OMG, i have soooo much work to do!

Lottielou · 15/06/2005 15:55

Diddle - Greatlink, have just ignored my work for 3/4 /hr and read that whole thread. Had me laughing out loud, very loud in fcat ! HEE! HEE!

HellKat · 15/06/2005 16:13

Good to see you Twiga! Thanks for the dust!!
Lottie- I'm great thankyou hun! How are you?
Diddle- Jammies are fab!! Bright red vest top (white edging and a big wonder woman on the front) and teeny weeny shorts (red with white stars and edging)! All I need now is my gold lasso and tiara!
Tabs- Great to see you! Thanks for that info hun. Nope they're not going to do any tests until I have 3 in a row without a healthy pg in between. The previous 3 were consecutive but I was in a different area and they did'nt bother looking into it. Here they will but have said that nearly all mc's before 12 wks are due to a foetal abnomality so at least not our fault.
How's ur pg going? I love the sleeping bit too. Great excuse for sticking your feet up.
