Thought as there was 955 messages on our old thread that we should have a new one again, its very annoying scrolling down to the bottom.

{grin}

Welcome to our new thread girls.

Should we put our stats again???
saves us thread hopping, and we have had newbies.
I will try and copy some from the old thread.

Morning All!
Well i tested this morning and i got a BFN but still no sign of AF, well test again on Sunday if AF hasn't reared her ugly head by then!
My Run was fab, i beat everyone in my work and got a good time of 21 mins for 3 miles. I was quite impressed, i actually suprised myself at the end with a full on sprint!
We are now planning another one, there is talk about a trek accross the sahara desert, it will cost £2000 in sponsors but we are thinking of getting local business' involved. In the planning stage at the mo but will see how it goes. I am hooked on running!
How are you all this morning? x x x

Xena · 16/06/2005 09:16

Lottielou · 16/06/2005 09:23

Xena - Yeah the weather was perfect for it, however i was willing for it to rain as i was stupidly hot and sweaty! LOL Cant wait till the next one now!

strike1 · 16/06/2005 09:45

Well done with the running lottielou! Shame about the BFN maybe the excitement of running will bring AF on? The desert thing sounds good. I'd love to get into that myself. I'm doing a run for life in July so hopefully I'll get the bug to.

Diddle · 16/06/2005 09:45

lottielou - sorry to hear about you're BFN, better luck on the weekend. Yes please text or email me you're address before i go away and i will send you a cheque. You've raised a lot, thats good.
How are you feeling about you're BFN are you ok?? or don't you believe it at the moment, i didn't believe mine till AF came.

Morning ladies

NOT at the dentist this morning now-have had to cancel due to extremely flat tyre. DH thinks he picked up a screw when he took it to work yesterday to weld the exhaust bracket back on. Grrrrrh! He has blown it up temporarily to get it to work so best he doesn't come home without a new tyre.

He said I should use his car-don't think so as it is an automatic and a) they make me carsick and b) I have never driven one so not good with my DD in the back. Very selfish of him to have a car only he can use.

Lottielou-sorry about your BFN Fingers and toes crossed for next time.

Wishing all of you a good day

Byee
x

HellKat · 16/06/2005 09:52

Lottie- Sorry to hear! Hope your af does'nt come. Good luck for the next test and well done for the run!
Xena- Not sure where I am hun! Still have'nt come on. Got my opk's through this morning (thanks Rach!!) and there's a faint line so looks like I may ov before I get af. Very weird eh? Lol at you counting. Bet you're marking the days off to and have little smily face next to d-day!

Lottielou · 16/06/2005 09:58

Thanks Ladies.
Strike - have you been training for it? Are you running it or walking it? I bet you get the bug. well done you for doing it!
Diddle - I feel quite wierd about it, i dont believe it, i wont until AF comes. I will be kinda relieved when AF does come cos it means i can get back to it. Does feel V.Wierd! Felt so gutted this morning, i was convinced then when i turned it over it would give my my BFP! Better luck next time tho hey! x

Lottielou · 16/06/2005 09:59

Arghhhh so frustrating!

HellKat · 16/06/2005 10:08

Awww Lottie. It'll happen soon. You never know, you might get a bfp at the weekend. Here's hoping so anyway.

Lottielou · 16/06/2005 10:51

HK - Just doesn't feel like i will. I haven't had any signs at all of AF but feel she will come before i get to test. I suppose it'll save me money on tests tho. I know a lot of us are in this situation but i wish i knew either way, i hate being dangled on a string.
I was due on Sunday, surely if i were pg then it wud show by now???

strike1 · 16/06/2005 10:54

Lottie, I'm just training at the gym at the mo, cause I'm scared of the outside world! But have run outside in the country a few times and loved it. I know I have to get outside before the race to get used to it. Your time was amazing! I can do the 5k in 30 mins right now, but hoping to up it. Did you train with someone?

On a positive pg note, I missed an af and had 7 BFN so thought I wasn't then found out I was 3 weeks later! So there is still hope.

maddyd · 16/06/2005 10:58

So sorry LottieLou, are you sure you have your dates right. Im sure you have though, thing is worry about your af can make it late. Just hope it doesnt bloody take 55 days like mine.

TMI ALERT

Its about cm my af has just finished and its like water my cm that is. Does that mean im ovulating early or do i wait till it goes like jelly.

Thats a Shame about your scan Humphreys, i think thats why i opted for my D&C. I needed the finality plus im a bit of a coward and couldnt stand the pain any longer plus i think i would have been even more hysterical if i had to see the sac. God this all such a nightmare.

Hiya Lunar sea and Hellkat.

Im off to take my temp

Lottielou · 16/06/2005 11:08

Strike - Yes i trained with a mate from work, who i ran it with and then did extra training with DP. We went on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Then when i went away to Norfolk i increased the distance and did a run every day for 4 days solid, some days even twice, i then rested for 2 days before the run. I cud've done the race a lot quicker but there were people in my way that slowed my pace down! I was so determined to get a good time as the race meant so much for me. My Dad had cancer last year, he is in remision now but it hit him really hard, he had 3 bouts of it in one year. Then there have been other family members who have suffered so it was really close to my heart. I was V emotional last night when i did my sprint at the end, the only thing i focussed on was the pain that everyone close to me had gone though, my legs were burning, arms aching, feet sore but i thought my pain didn't come close to what they had been through! I shot over the line and burst into tears. It was almost a feeling of letting go of the pain i had been carrying for them. I am so so so glad i did it and it makes such a difference!

That has made me feel V.Positive now about my BFN's perhaps i will be the same! Oooohhhh i feel better now! Thanx Strike x

maddyd · 16/06/2005 11:12

Ahh well done Lottie, you must feel so proud.

strike1 · 16/06/2005 11:14

Brillant! And you've made me want to go running and push myself harder. Doing it for my aunt, who survived and my friends aunt who didn't

My doctor said i probably ov'ed late which is why i skipped an af but wasn't pg enough at the time to come up bfp. Maybe running has delayed ov a bit, so you never know, keep checking!

Is anyone else testing at the mo? I get so excited for everyone.

Lottielou · 16/06/2005 11:42

Madddyd - Yeah in a way i do x
Strike - Well perhaps i OV'ed late too, i will keep testing, next test is on Sunday so i have everything crossed!
Not sure if there is anyone else testing?!?!?!
Sorry to hear bout your friends aunt, how awful! So your Aunt is in remision then? How is she doing? x

Lottielou · 16/06/2005 11:42

Diddle - Where are you huni? x

Diddle · 16/06/2005 11:44

sorry in a rush, will reply to everyone else later, maddyd - yes you're watery cm means that you are fertile, and should be bd. i think its a sign that ov is on its way then when you are ov it may turn to ewcm. hope that helps.

Well doctors was a big let down - he basically said that as I'd been pg that was the end of the story - no investigations, despite it all taking so long and my cycles being mostly too short to be viable (typically 22 days, sometimes as low as 15 days). He did eventually concede that in conjunction with the m/c it was meaning the chances of success weren't good, so I am least going to get blood tests (14 of them!) to see if there's any reason for that.

Generally feeling rotten today - headache, shivery, a bit sick, and can't look at my PC screen for long because the glare hurts (am typing this looking at the keyboard not the screen, so excuse any typos). Am back in work but don't think I'm going to get through the day and might end up hving to go home early if it doesn't imporove soon. And I'd actaully got a rare night out arranged for tonight which might have to go by the board too. Grrr.

Lottielou · 16/06/2005 12:07

Lunarsea - sorry for the delay in my welcome to you to this thread. So sorry for your m/s and tough time you have been having. big huge hugs x x x What a bummer about your doc, sorry that it wasn't as positive as you had hoped for. At least you getthe blood tests (a small concellation (sp...lol?) i know but it is something hun)
Also sorry that you are feeling crappy today, sounds like you need to get yourself back home to bed. Hope you start to feel better x

Lottielou · 16/06/2005 12:16

m/s was supposed to be m/c

Twiga · 16/06/2005 12:29
