hi space - i totally understand why you're worrying, i think until you get past the first 4 months or your own milestone it will always be worrying. Don't worry it will be ok.

Been in office all day, god it was hot. Fingers crossed for you lottie Lou, i know what you mean abut the limbo thing, it really is awfull. Its a shame the Doc or Dic as you fondly call him didnt do a blood test for you.

Went on E bay last night and bought some tests as i am now on day 16/17 so counting down to test and i found some that reckon you can get a accurate result 3 days after conception. Amazing. I got 3 for 79pence. Well Chuffed.

Spacecadet, try not to worry, i know its hard but at least you have symptoms which is a great sign

I am testing on Sunday providing AF has not arrived anyone else testing? Who is going to ahve the first March due date?

Gosh, it is soooooooooooo hot and I have been stuck at work . Oh well, my choice but have the next 2 days off.

Incidently-how long after a MC is it until your HCG levels drop-I am dying to do a test but obviously don't want to waste too many-I want to save them for that heavenly moment (whenever it may be).My bleeding is non existent but I still don't think I have passed the last clot so perhaps I should wait. Sigh, it's all wait, wait, wait in this game.

humphreys - how could i forget you guys. I think the hcg level question depends. If you have passed everything then it can take upto 2 weeks for it to go down enough, i got a bfn after 1 wk. But if you haven't passed everything yet then you're levels could still be high.
No harm in testing though, might just be expensive.

Trix1 - I won't be the first March person but hopefully will get my bfp next month.

Lottielou - guess you might not see this now, but if you do then I hope the rest from MN does you good and you come back feeling refreshed (and hopefully pregnant).

Maddyd - not sure how the test can show +ve 3 days after conception, as you don't start producing hcg until implantation, which generally takes 7-10 days after ovulation? Would imagine they only work if you have exceptionally fast implantation.

Humphreys- I was still getting hcg levels up until last week but that's only because there were retained products after the first d&c. So after the 2nd, it took around 2-3 weeks until they were totally gone.
Still no sign of af. Not even a twinge. Might test Sunday or Monday just to see what's going on.

Have a fab Ho Diddle very Dont think we can get away till Christmas. Mind you im dreading christmas so may be its a good thing we get away so evryone doesnt have to put up with my miserable old face .

Have deceded those tests after 3 days cant be right. They reckon you start producing hcg as soon as conception happens, but so many eggs dont even implant so i can see that would cause alot more heartache. Best to wait to miss an af i would have thought.

Im Fine Ta. On count down to testing now which is always exciting. Although i dont think ive caught at all. We did it at the right times but my Cm didnt suggest ovulation and my temp didnt go up. But we will see, must stay posotive.

Just need to let off some steam

My bloody MIL is winding me up again-I work 3 days a week at present so she has my DD on a Tuesday. My DH goes to pick her up at 6.30pm ish but last night didn't bring her home until 8pm and she wasn't even dressed ready for bed. I have told her before that bedtime is at 7pm but it is getting later and later each week and I have had enough. My DH doesn't want to get involved so we are not speaking. I was so I tried ringing her last night but the phone was engaged for ages and we wanted our tea. THEN, he did manage to ask if his mother could have DD for the day on Thursday to take her to the Lincolnshire Show. It is our only full play day due to working so he said "I take that as a no then". He'll probably tell her yes to annoy me. Grrrrrrrrrrh.

Well, glad that's off my chest.

Maddy- it was in April. D7c was done 26th but had the 2nd one 3 weeks ago. Will you be testing this weekend to?

Dear Me Humphreys Corner, o you feel better now Its great tha you vcan come on here and have a good rant. Its only us that can truley understand. Your MIL has to respect your rules and boundaries otherwise it makes it more difficult for you. Bless.

Just been on baby center site and have decided to test on 29th as that will be 4 days before af due. So thats it 7 days to go

Oh I am getting jeolous I want to test soon although I have no pregnancy symptons - we bdd at all the right times this month though. I am due af on Sunday how soon can I test do you think?

Trix- imo if you don't come on Sunday, go ahead and test on Monday. Be prepared though for a bfn. But you never know. If you got the tests then test away (i'm a total test addict ). Most tests need a hcg of 50 or above to register but the early ones are from 25. Which one's do you have?

HI Helkat - Last month I was four days late - this never nromaly happens and I tested six times. How obsesive is that? I bought the pack of three clear blue and bought some early tests off the internet they where the 25 ones - dont really understand them - This is going to be the sixth month since my last miscarriage and I so badly want a BFP but I have no signs

Bet im a bigger addict than you HellKat. I got through 20 tests whislt waiting for my af after the Mc.

Can you really wait 7 days more to test then and do it with me????

Aww hun. It's horrid is'nt it?
Basically the 25 ones mean that you only need a 25% hormone level for it to be detected (I think it's percent but don't hold me to it as I'm new at this ttc lark ). It means that if you are pg, it'll pick it up early on (I.e 7-10 days after conception). Those are the one's that I've got.
Unfortunately, there's not alot you can do apart from bd at the right times etc. Mother nature can take her sweet time sometimes, albeit bloody frustrating!
