So by my reckoning I am 11 dpo - I want to test - I am like a child no patience.

Trix go on, i would. Have you got an early test as that shoud show a posotive by now.

There is another thread going at the mo where a woman tested a week early and go a posotive. Everyoness different though.

Do you think those 10 tests of ebay work? How soon can you use them?

I tested 8dpo, 10dpo, 11dpo (yes, I too am addicted to testing!!) They were all BFN.
It wasn't until I was 13dpo that it showed up BFP!!
It is interesting to see when it detects a bfp when you are p/g so if you can afford to waste a few tests then TEST TEST TEST!!

Hi Rachel - I will be 13 dpo on Friday so will test then as the test ive ordered of ebay should arrive tomorrow so I will test on Friday morning.

Poor you Trix! I've been out in the garden sunning myself. Surprised as I've gone light golden brown instead of the usual lobster colour!

I forgot to mention yesterday - Did anyone see GMTV Lorraine Kelly there was some thing on about women trying to conceive but I only caught the last few minutes so missed it but it was something about some new breakthrough for women trying to conceive - the consultant is based in a hospital in Liverpool.

Did anyone else seee it?

Difficult to say as I only caught the end - woudld like to know if anyone else saw it and could let us all know what it was all about.

Can't believe I went to bed at 9 last night!! I was sooo tired.

Hot again so going to make the most of it before work tomorrow. Bet it's not as hot as where Diddle is. It is 3 years since we had a holiday so I am getting desperate now. We MUST go next year!

Talking of desperate-my bleeding stopped yesterday and as it has been 23 days I jumped on DH. We didn't use any protection and now I am worried that I have caused some damage because we haven't had the all clear scan yet. I'm sure I can't get PG or can I? Perhaps we should have waited.

Anyway, the boiler man is coming to service my boiler so had better give it a clean first.

Morning All. Hope you are well. This is the reply i got when i asked about those early 3 day tests!!!

Hello,
These are Ultra Early 10 mIU tests, normal tests are about 25mIU and higher.
These tests are designed to detect the presence of hCG a lot earlier.
hCG is produced in minute amounts and then, rising exponentially, the concentration doubles approximately every 2.2 days hence why the tests can work 3 days earlier than the normal tests. Conception may take place several days after date of intercourse, so the date of intercourse should not be viewed as the necessary day of conception. If you do get a negative 1st time I advise you to leave it 48 hours before doing another one as sometimes it can take a little longer for the hCG levels to rise.
