Hardly the most original title but I didn't want to loose anyone (well that's my excuse for the lack of originality!)

leew hoppy berkday bootiful.

well i don't really know what to post cos i just feel well, a bit bleurgh....trying not to obsess about every little pull down below and i am such a knicker and toilet paper checker now its ridiculous....my biggest thing so far {at all 4wks 3days....} is headaches. I have got the worst head aches permamently.....not total bonecrunchers but just ones that i really would like to take a tablet for but am not....know what i mean? First time i have ever had headaches as a pg symptom. Must be all the hormones....I AM SO NOT MOANING tho as will put up with a headache like this for the rest of days if it is doing ok by this baby....

Nervous about my numbers again on monday.....its such a strange feeling willing your body to remain hospitable to this little guest that is tucked up inside... heres hoping for some doubling and doubling again going on.....

i have guestimated that new level should be around 1000-1200 hopefully by monday if this is growing in the way of a viable pregnancy.....i don't know if any of you pray but if you do please can you say a prayer for my little bean to hold on tight......

welcome malotkins

sorry you out tetley next month hun....get yourself some preseed

hello to everyone else too. xx

boodleboot · 09/01/2010 17:34

.....oh and any random old person aswell as little birds footprints in fresh snow, make me cry like a baby now in the street apparently.....don't ask.....

thefatladyscreams · 09/01/2010 17:59

Always exciting when people are coming up to test - wishing you all patience (and BFPs of course!)

Lee - happy birthday youngster! Definitely not a time to think about dieting - enjoy

And tigerbear - your new year's resolution is definitely one to break

Welcome Malotkins - sorry you've had to join us but lovely to have you on board. You asked if it was OTT. I remember doing something very similar and coming out of the supermarket with OPKs, baby aspirin, grapefruit juice etc, etc.... It made me feel better as I felt I was actually doing something. I'm more relaxed now but hummmm I might consider getting some EPO now you've put the idea in my head . Also need to reorder some preseed now boodle has reminded me! Ran out before Christmas but held off ordering in the faint hope of a BFP.

Boodle - have said a prayer and will be thinking of you on Monday. But have a feeling that things are multiplying like mad inside you! It is really amazing when you stop to think about it like that. Did laugh at your little birds' footprints in the snow - don't read some of the threads about feeding the birds or they'll die as you'll be in floods of tears!

Bad luck tetley - hope you're not too down about it. I try to reassure myself each time that AF arrives that it wasn't meant to be that month and that my body is making me wait until a healthy egg is available. Sometimes it helps, mostly it doesn't!

Thanks for the info meita. I've decided not to get my FSH levels tested. I asked my acupuncturist if the results would make any difference to how she is treating me and they wouldn't. I can see myself getting very depressed if my levels are high (which they probably will be at my age) and would rather live in hope, however much misplaced, at this stage. What day is your midwife's appointment and how are you feeling about it?
Almost 9 weeks is great!

MrsR lovely to see you back posting. Hope you're doing OK. You are missed when you are quiet! xx

Samantha - I'd echo meita's comments. I've read that you should ignore spotting but count day 1 from the first day when bleeding starts.

Cheeps - really hoping you're wrong and that AF doesn't appear. Sometimes these things happen when we least expect them - watched pot and all that. Fingers crossed for you.

Come up girls - let us know the results where you've given in and tested!

Hi Ladies,
I sure love it that our grads are as sticky as their beans I prefer that y'all stick around indefinitely.

Have to say, malotkins, that I got very obsessed after my mmc last April, and it didn't do me any good. I think stick to minimal supplements, and monitor your ewcm and bbt. Then ttc in your fertile window.

Of course no news here yet, but did have an appt. at the fertility clinic yesterday that went well. Turns out that I check out fine(blood work and HSG), dh's SA was good as well. High count, ok motility, but morphology is a bit low. He's recommending clomid and IUI next month if we want. I think if I'm not pg this month, then we'll go ahead with it next month. Will POAS wed. to check.

FX for all upcoming POAS!

zayja · 09/01/2010 19:31

And happy birthday LeeWT!!!
Went shopping yesterday and now fit into a sz16! (normally a 14) ARG! Of course, I DIDN'T buy them!!!

Cheepz · 09/01/2010 20:58

hmmm spotting has stopped .... very unusual

was expecting 31 day cycle this month so a ways to go before I get excited but did my sums and the pinky / browny discharge yesterday and this morning is 10-11 days post ovulation / naughty quickie..

...i know - its such a long shot, why do we do it to ourselves. More likely just early bleed from AF - have more PMS symtoms, cramps, twinges and a little bit grumpy!

And no PG symptoms, boobs are same size, colour and there are no veins, no nausea exhaustion or physical symptom, and I just don't feel pregnant

but still, have never had AF do anything other than start as spotting which is then full flow within 24 hours.........

who am i kidding, and probably by posting this the next time I go it will be full on spotting again. I am such an idiot for even getting my hopes up even a little [neurotichairpulling]

boodle guarentee I am out knicker checking you right no but I am thinking of you alot and although I don't pray I nipped outside and had a look at the moon and whispered for stickiness for you and meita

tfls would that you are right...

zayja I second having our grads be sticky too, definitely enriches the thread to hear about the progress everyone is making

louisesh · 09/01/2010 21:49

Happy bday LEE you re "nout "but a spring chicken!!!! HaVe a good one....I m the big 40 at the end of this year!!!!! OMG.....

boodleboot · 10/01/2010 11:26

Jollster that is very exciting news...CONGRATULATIONS .i think we have come to the general conclusion {correct me if wrong} that we don't need to leave this thread once have BFP....so i for one don't intend too, i'd be totally lost without this thread now i think and can certainly see now that a BFP is only half way through the 'long haul'....

heres hoping 2010 see's everyone with their much deserved BFP and babes in arms....

Meita · 10/01/2010 14:12

OMG Jollster! Congratulations! See I told you so - missing AF best "early symptom" and everything else doesn't really matter.

I was hoping for a wave of Christmas BFPs... instead we've got a wave of new year BFPs. Fine with me! Keep them coming, everyone!

Cheepz ah... just when you were all relaxed about it, your AF goes and plays tricks on you. Cue disappearance of relaxededness. Well who knows, perhaps it's all for a good reason! Fx.

boodle thinking of you, boodlebean and doubling HCG values.

TFLS Sounds like the right way to go (re FSH testing). Feels like a very mature decision.
Midwife appointment is on Thursday and atm I'm a bit panicky about it - I'm certain something will go wrong before then. But I suppose there is nothing I can do but wait and hope for the best.

SamanthaB123 · 10/01/2010 14:15

Jollster Congratulations, what fab news!

I decided to wait to test...realistically I am only on day 26 and I know that I ovulate late so it'll be better to wait to see if I get AF and if not test then. Still feel much the same as before, but my chest is bigger. ~~~Warning: TMI moment approaching!~~~ I don't have much of a chest really, so when it dramatically changes I notice quickly. I did have a spot of watery light pink blood earlier today, I might just be on the verge of AF . Nothing since though, just exhaustion . Off to have a little nap, , SB

MrsRigby · 10/01/2010 16:03

samanthab123 congratulations you are our next BFP. Your describing implantation spotting.

I'll bet you £1000 that when you test, you get a BFP .

randomimposter · 10/01/2010 16:48

thanks everyone for all your lovely wishes
can't quite believe it ... not telling anyone in RL as SO early (am 4+2 I guess) and no point/need etc....

agree with Boodle would LOVE to hang around... have no plan to join an A-N thread until I'm past scans and tests and maybe even packing my hospital bag...

Good luck whoever is testing next, Sam is it you? Hope you are wrong and it's not AF sign. Cheepz, what's happening?

thefatladyscreams · 10/01/2010 17:25

Absolutely fantastic news jollster - huge congratulations to you!

Here's hoping for a rash of New Year BFPs!

Had just typed a huge post and lost it (duhhhhh).

It could be implantation bleeding cheepz - or mother nature playing a cruel trick on you (and we all know about those....) - here's hoping it's the former!!!

Good luck to you and samantha and Lee (sorry if I've left out anyone coming up to test).

Meita - another milestone to go. How exciting (and scary I know...) but mainly exiciting. for you.

OP posts:
zayja · 10/01/2010 17:42

Congrats jollster, that's great!!!

Cheepz · 10/01/2010 17:52

Go jollster what a result. xxxxxx big big congrats. Good to get a run of BFPs on the thread as it really helps keep the mood up!

Status here = no spotting, no AF ... [attemptingnonchalenthalfsmile}

in real terms is CD28 because started this cycle on spotting day not flow day, 3 days minimum before I am going to allow myself to get excited.. last big dissappointment cycle was 31 days.

Still no pg symptoms, but light cramps etc... so expecting AF, had 2 large glasses of wine today so clearly not feeling desprately optimistic.

samb best to hold out if you can, later you test the better the chance of a BFP

zayja · 10/01/2010 17:58

FX for you cheepz!

LeeWT · 11/01/2010 00:05

jollster yaywippeeyay!!!!!!! how exciting!!!

meita i like the term boodlebean cant wait for next HCG level update!

everyone thanks for the bday wishes.. i had an absolute ball.. great bash and lots of sore heads this morning. i actually hope i dont get a BFP this month as the quantity of alcohol I consumed last night is next to criminal! at 3.40 i had to borrow shoes from my friend in her apartment because i could only find one of mine (the other was retrieved from the bath later) and i arrived home with equally intoxicated DH to find DD sitting on FIL's knee! oh dear! had to drunkenly slur through a bedtime story and totter over to her cot to try and get her down. so funny..

no other news here just to say love y'all and here's to lots sticky beans for 2010 - for now, special prayers for boodlebean, meitabean and jollsterbean xxx

LeeWT · 11/01/2010 00:06

Hey Ladies, going a little crazy on 2nd part of 2ww. Been reading online and hanging around mumsnet all day!

Keep on knicker checking although it's too early - CD 21. Going mad back and forth between thinking I feel AF coming on and hoping to be pg - reading into every little sign or could-be symptom!

As I posted earlier, am considering IUI and Clomid next cycle which has me excited, but wary at the same time. Reading lots of stories of people with no success after several attempts, and of course there are successes too. Just seems that Clomid can be so tough physically. Wreaks havoc on emotions too. What do you ladies think? Have any stories to pass on about Clomid or IUI?

All of that said, will probably go ahead with it anyway if AF does arrive again this month. Getting a bit anxious about it all.

Well, there it's all out and maybe now I can get some work done. Fingers seriously crossed for all of those POAS soon. So many BFP's have made our thread especially exciting. Good night!

zayja · 11/01/2010 00:25

Somehow missed you posts lee! Glad you had a wonderful birthday. I too had a night of too much drink last week, hope it's all alright.

So it's Sunday night here, but Mon. morn there, s/b on CD22 for Mon. Have skipped ahead a day on our list, anyone else?
