whoo hoo cupcake so chuffed for you! I'm confident that everything will sort itself out for you - you've had the power of sod's law to get your BFP, now it can get better. If it helps, after a few months my DH losing his job turned out to be the best thing that happened to us in years after all.

My news is that AF arrived this morning, so am once again out for the month... but I kind of knew that as around the right time I didn't see DH for 3 days, so there we are... I was v. miserable yesterday as I knew AF was coming, but quite cheery today. I have been offered an interview for a more senior job in a diff organisation - so perhaps I should go for that to guarantee a bfp

for some reason, late last night I convinced myself all my symptoms had disappeared and got quite upset.

Today, well I've got stabbing pains in my left boob and the left hand side of my pelvis is really really aching. Who knows

Couldn't test this morning, as it turns out I've only got Tesco cheapies in the house, and they are not sensitive enough. Am going to buy some Clearblue digi's today, if I don't see any pre AF spotting as scheduled this afternoon ...

my funny story of today is i tried to get into dh car after work and couldnt work out why the door didnt open, until i realised it wasnt my car much to the amusment of the proper owner watching from a near by store oh and i had to sit in the car until another drove past because i couldnt work out for the life of me which side of the road i had to be on!!!!

Finally a word of advise from dh...if you are suffering from consipation, have a poo!!!! yes that really was his advise to me yesterday

Todays wise words of advice from me is....

never ever try to re stick the wonderweb that you placed around the bottom of your trouser hems (due to being too lazy to sew!) with the hot iron.....while still wearing the trousers!

yes really, i did this only this morning, decided to pull up the leg of the trousers and balance said trouser leg on the ironing board iron got a little too close to leg, resulting in me falling back, trying to grab on the a moving dog for support and fell backwards (luckily the room is small so wall behind me stopped my fall) ...thankfully not burnt but very nearly...oh and i broke my beautiful compact mirror which dh had place on the ironing board to tighten up later...

I used a ClearBlue digi this morning, 13DPO and got "Not Pregnant", much to my amazement and disappointment. Still no sign of AF - although not due till late Monday, I normally get a bit of spotting and there has been nothing at all. Boobs are still very tender, but don't feel as full as they did a couple of days ago.

I'm guessing this has been a very very strange cycle but not successful - maybe an early implantation failure ?? If AF isn't here by Tuesday, I'll test again but I'm kind of resigned to the fact she must be on her way. I don't feel too bad considering - I think being busy at work and packing for hols on Wednesday is taking my mind off it. Am already plan next cycle's campaign - I'll get back on CD9 or 10 and hopefully DP will be pleased to see me

Just in from day in garden planting daff bulbs for next Spring, had my flowery gardening gloves on - all very Margot from 'The Good Life' .

Barbieeverydayadifferentstory - I have a tummy tub! Bought it for DS and he loved it. They feel so snug and secure bobbing about in it. He was four days old when he had his first bath in it and didn't cry once. Plus it hardly takes up any room - go for it!

Jools - you sound very positive but sorry your got a BFN... If AF does come you will be spared from being pg at the same time as you were last year with all the date comparison that would entail. Big push on for Sept conception - June babies are lovely .

Hello ladies

Thank you all for your messages of support. I'm so so scared, I don't know how many more times I can go through this. The doctor said the embryo is more like a 5 and a half week size rather than the 7 I thought I was. She did say though that the ovary that the egg came from is still functioning & still feeding progesterone to the baby so I suppose that is something. I did think it was strange that I didn't get a bfp until day 28 & it was a very very faint one whereas last time I had a bfp on day 21 & by day 28 it was a dark line. Maybe I had late implantation which would affect the dates? I've heard loads of positive stories about people having scans & being told there was no hope or no heartbeat or even no fetal pole & then going back a week later & it's all changed & they ended up having a healthy pregnancy. I realise I'm clutching at straws but what else can I do? My boobs still hurt on & off & I'm still getting the dull crampy feeling I get with pregnancy. I'm so scared. I'm dreading Thursday. I don't know what to do with myself, I'm trying to keep busy but as soon as I sit down I start thinking & when that happens the dread grips me by the throat.

Thank you as always to Neeko, you have kept me semi-sane & thanks to 4ever for sending me such lovely emails last week. My next scan is Thursday at 2.30. We are going away for 10 days on Friday so I'll either spend that week & a half in an alcoholic haze or counting my blessings & knowing that I'm the luckiest woman in the world.

mls on one of my early scans the dates were a bit out, the doctor did say that it's very hard to date so early on because one slight move with the mouse can add or knock off a few days, so hang in there

4Ever - am trying to emulate your laidback attitude Struggling at the mo - boobs are killing again this morning and am feeling v v v nauseous. A teeny bit of brown when wiping now, but not on the right schedule for my normal AF, so who knows I'm sure all will become clear in the next 24 hours and, in the meantime, I'm flat out with work

oh MLS - just wanted to squeeze your hand reading your post . I would feel exactly the same. It does sound good though if you didn't get a BFP 'til CD28 with a possible late implantation. A week out at this stage can make all the difference. Summoning up every sticky vibe for Thursday's scan, you SO deserve a good outcome x
