Evening ladies
GG yay for 10 eggs! That is wonderful (and well done on your DH for his aim ). It's another hurdle you've crossed . Hope they're hitting it off in the lab as I type . Fingers crossed for the call tomorrow - it's nerve wracking. I actually called mine first, as they said they'd call around 10am and at 10.03am I was like "hello? When are you calling?" . And get you with your Britain's Got Talent run-ins! I didn't even notice that it was X Factor (I've watched neither ).
Cool that you bumped into Bucky too . Small world! Bucky hope your scan went well.
MrsH great news about courgette being so lively already - it must be utterly amazing to see movement from the outside . Great news that you're on a permanent contract btw - clever you! And I've no intention of peeing on any other sticks ...in my defense I actually only bought three tests (a single and double pack), and only did two of those to see the conception indicator rise. I did two other tests that were lying around in a drawer and that's it - over two weeks I think it's pretty restrained (especially when I remember the million tests I did last Sept to watch a faint line stay faint ).
MOB am glad it's cooled down for you (although I've rolled out my wardrobe for summer 2009 and am not too amused!). It's amazing to think that you'll have met your babies by Friday . My younger sister is now a week and a bit overdue and is booked for an induction on Thurs so there's going to be lots of newborn news for me this week
JB lol at you finding some old pee sticks from your DD . I do have one in my bedside drawer (the only one that was a line - ruddy digital ones disappear after 24 hours!) and do like to look at it sometimes still. The line is just so thick, I find it very reassuring (although I'd be mortified if anyone spotted it in RL - I did pee on it after all!).
PnM hope you're enjoying your hols
Ei hope you've got your questions ready for the consultant on Thurs
RFN2&3 hope you're enjoying the cooler weather too!
Not much new with me. Still comedy tired of an evening but, bar the odd retch, I've not had any MS or nausea. On the way into the office today I bumped into the lovely HR consultant who gave me the advice on taking time off for IVF and it was lovely when she was like "hope you don't mind me asking but...?" and she was so excited! And lovely, by reminding me that there's no need to say anything "official" until after 12 weeks. I'm 6 weeks today and still at that stage where every day feels like a minor triumph. Roll on next Tuesday as I need to see this bean to believe it's actually full steam ahead!
